Awkward But True

Jaffers. Boy was he a different matter entirely. While the funny moments were memorable he couldn't help but laugh at the fact of Jaffers being so stealthy yet so stupid. "Yeah. Even though Jaffers was a prick he still meant business" He couldn't help but add a shiver at the mention of Malachite and absentmindly he remembered the pain in his crotch

"We had some good times here. Although I kinda feel bad about the girl who was living in Ask That Guy's house. She looked a lot like Elisa. I wonder if she was some cousin or something. I kind of forgot to mention to Elisa and now the mystery girl's dead so it's kind of awkward to bring up." said Chick.

She frowned at that thought. Too bad Snob and the others hadn't dragged her along with them. Then again if they'd known what he was going to do they could have stopped him right there. Well Snob's group could anyway. I guess there wasn't any point in thinking what they could have done anymore. They just had to plan to stop them, and stay alive.

"Well at least Malachite won't be hurting anyone else anymore. That bastard got we he deserved." said Chick.

"Yeah. Malachite is gone. Good ridence" Critic replied back. He couldn't help but growl at that. It wasn't enough. Ma-Ti was still dead. He hated that fact. It kept him from ignoring it. He wasn't really upset just remembering the fact and he despised it

Chick smiled glancing around. She was glad they'd chosen to come here after all. Maybe they should bring Snob, Linkara, and the rest of the reviewers here again sometime.

"This wasn't as bad as I'd thought it'd be. We did have some good memories here. I didn't want to come back here for so long. And now I'm glad I did. We'll take down Ask That Guy and his army and then find a way to get back Ma-ti. But that might take awhile. Unless some nut like Jaffers buried it in the forest or somewhere else in plain sight. But what are the odds of that happening twice?" said Chick.

She smiled glancing at the battlefield. She glanced at some patches of grass recognizing the scorch marks from when a witch and one of the cloaks had been killed and immediately frowned.

"Maybe we should bring them back too. Sure they were idiots but they were trying to stop Malachite so they weren't all bad." said Chick.

Critic smiled. Chick was being sympathetic and understanding, maybe he should be too. Looking to her again he replied "Sure. We'll find them too. They were really trying to save the world too" He chuckled "We had the same goal they did, the two of us teams would've been so cool" He meant that. They honestly were good and if they were allies maybe things wouldn't of turned out the way they did

Chick smiled turning to Critic.

"So should we head back? The others should be done shopping by now. And I'm not sure if it's really safe anymore to be wandering around out here for too long. I'd rather not run into any creeps from Ask That Guy's army, especially without any weapons. I wonder if Linkara has any spare laser guns. After all, we can't really walk around with guns or swords. We might get arrested." said Nostalgia Chick.

Critic nodded and then walked alongside Chick to the house. She was right again. They needed to go home anyway. It was late. He felt so much better. About everything and thanks to talking with Chick things were a whole lot brighter. Maybe... Maybe there was still hope
