(Ooc: February 27th. Afternoon. A thread for Hal & Thor to meet.)
Thor smiled as he began walking around the house carring his hammer Mjölnir as usual. No one else could carry it. Well except for his father and Loki that he was aware of. He paused as he heard foosteps as he turned shocked to see it was his brother Loki. He was wearing strange clothes but it was him.
"Loki. I will not let you hurt my friends or the others in this house. If you want a fight then we do it outside." said Thor.
Thor charged at him grabbing him and running out through the open back door and threw him at the ground.
"Get up. I know you're stronger than that brother. I don't know what your plans are but I'm not going to let you win." said Thor.

(OCC: Nah I think the date is fine. Hal acknowledged thor in a friendly way in both "Fighting The Good Fight" and "A Hollow Victory", so I think this is a hilarious way to have them meet. Oh by the way, at this moment of the RP, Hal's bearded so that's important to note)
Hal was simply enjoying the day, he had things easy so far, the people in the army was so charming and polite. Especially elisa. Though he seemed to be rather confused with all the animals and strange beings, he also really enjoyed them. At the moment nothing went wrong for the former king at all. As he went downstairs, he heard a big blond man shout at him. Calling him Loki and before Hal could register what Thor was saying, the man grabbed him and instantly Hal was thrown to the backyard ground. Hal cried out in extreme pain, for thor was very strong and it nearly gave out his back but somehow, someway, his back was only numb and not broken. Suddenly having nothing wrong happen to him today seemed like a hilarious thing to recieve. He heard the man demand him to get up, and Hal was in so much pain that he didn't even want to not defy Thor. Hal coughed and said with a huge amount of fear "Please spare me! I am not your enemy! I do not know whom you think I am, but please know that I am Hal Plantaganet! I speak peace. O to thee man of strength, speak to me who you assume I am!"
He hissed as his back started to have a sore feeling and Hal held it, but his eyes were wide with shock and fear at the blond man in front of him. He let out a noise of agony, and said weakly "I am deeply in pain. Perhaps we can talk before attacking like savages"

Loki? Who the bloody hell was Loki? Hal's face was full of confusion, almost as if he was appalled at the fact the blond man attacked him simply because he looked like another. The former king doubled over, still not comfortable with Thor's sudden attack on him. Yep, his back was going to be sore for quite some time. Hal tried his best to get up again and then started to get angry. How dare this man attack him for no reason other than being someone else, assuming him instantly and not even bothering to come confront him with words first. Hal walked over to Thor and shouted angerily "Thou art misunderstood, you just made yourself carry a unknown hatred toward me just because of my appearance! How dare you? I am not who you think I am! I speak only peace and you attacked me!" Hal backed up now, really annoyed with being so close to someone so vile enough to just throw him down. Whatever Thor was mad about, Hal was damn sure that Thor was going to realize that he made a huge misunderstanding. Hal's anger came from the fact Thor persisted with his words that he was some person named Loki, if Hal wasn't so mad and in pain maybe he would address it easier. But now? Hah, Hal was pretty damned pissed
"I am Hal Plantaganet! A former king of england, but now a simple solider in a war of the Critic's side. I do not know who Loki is, or who you are, but mark me now as I am different from the man you attacked me as. See my face, full of a red beard, and see my hair which as red as my beard, and check my clothing. Do I honestly look like someone who can handle your attack? I pray thee, violent man, hear me and listen!" Hal shouted, his arms extended out in his passion, blue eyes full of hurt because of his back, and his legs trembling.
Thor looked at him as this man was angry. But he wasn't fighting back as Loki would. He hadn't even tried to steal Mjölnir from him. The man kept insisting he wasn't Loki as he was confused. Was this a trick?
"You're my brother Loki. The Norse God of Lies. You've tried to kill me, my friends, and thousands of people. You tried to enslave the Earth. You've lied before. You think I'm going to believe more lies." said Thor.
He paused as the man stood his ground insisting he wasn't Loki. He had to admit standing up to him as this impressed him. He listened as the man called himself Hal Plantaganet a former king of England and was working for the Critic's side. His face, his clothes were different. For the first time, he really looked at him as he realized the truth.
"You're not Loki." whispered Thor.
He dropped Mjolnir as it landed ont he ground with a thud. Thor dropped to his knees ashamed.
"I've done the one thing I swore never to do when I joined the Avengers. Harm an innocent man. I promised my father I'd do better. Prove I was worthy of taking over Asgard as its king. And then I hurt you. Perhaps I'm more like Loki than I realized." said Thor.
He looked at Hal sadly and with remorse.
"You look so much like my brother that you could be his twin. I am sorry I hurt you. I've just made a fool of myself once again." said Thor.
He looked at the ground unable to look at the man he hurt anymore. He felt so guilty. If he had the power to heal injuries he'd heal the man right now but unfortunately he didn't.

So loki was a god of lies, who was Thor's brother, who risked the life of the person in front of him, as well as threaten others, well he could now see the motivation, but Hal was still annoyed with Thor's blindness to the differences he and his apparent enemy had. He was no god, if he was he sure as hell wouldn't be in a war, and he had no idea what norse was let alone what problems Thor had on Asgard or wherever the hell Thor came from. That said, Hal was shocked to see Thor put two and two together finally and feel terrible for it. Really terrible, Thor started to compare himself to his villainous brother and begin apologizing immensely, even so far as to look away. Hal realized his back became less numb, less in pain, enough for Hal to let go of it and stand upright. Sure it still hurt terribly but it wasn't as bad as before, and he began to calm down also. Like Thor, he reflected and felt sorry for Thor, he didn't know what he was doing overall and was just doing what he thought was right. Hal normally was a forgiving guy when given the chance, so when Thor showed huge remorse, it was easy for Hal to look upon the other man and take pity.
Hal gave a soft look even though Thor didn't see it, and walked over to the man. He was hesitant at first, worried Thor would shove him away, but Hal gently patted Thor's shoulder and responded softly "Do not compare yourself to a man who kills and lies. The only offenses you did was hurt me, not kill me. Those are separate offenses, man of strength" He let out a smile even though Thor still looked upset. Hal sighed and responded "It was a misunderstanding. I know not how I look like your brother but once I see him I will understand better and let you justify your actions" He saw Thor didn't look at him still, seeing him so humble made Hal take more pity. The former king kneeled beside Thor and responded "If it is any consolation to you, I understand your passion. I once attacked many prisoners and sentenced them to death, due to assuming the army still attacking me when in reality they were surrendering to me. What you did was not evil, it was human" He patted Thor's shoulder one more time and assuringly said "Only God himself is divine or perfect as some others say"
Thor was shocked as the man patted his shoulder and spoke to him. Saying to not compare himself to Loki. That he'd only hurt Hal and not killed like Loki had done. He remained silent listening to him speak until he was finished. He looked up at him in surprise.
"Thank you. I am sorry what I did to you." said Thor.
He paused looking at him worriedly. He pulled out some ambrosia as he handed it to him.
"Here. Eat this. It will heal you. I started carried some ambrosia for emergencies. And I think you need this." said Thor.
He looked at him and grinned.
"I've met dopplegangers here before. Even my friend Tony has a man named Sherlock Holmes who looks like him. I should have considered Loki had some here or from other universes. My apologies." said Thor.
He still felt awful at what he'd done. Thankfully he hadn't hurt him too badly before he'd figured this out. He would have to make sure he didn't end up fighting him instead of Loki by accident on the battlefield.

Hal nodded in acknowledgement to what Thor said, and gave a grin of forgiveness "You are forgiven. We can learn from this and be more aware of the surroundings among us. If we are lucky, we can become the greatest of friends" He let out a smile, ignoring his stinging in pain back. Suddenly Thor gave him a herb that he said would heal him. Apparently Thor was really sorry enough to volunteer quick health and healing, so Hal being a bit trustworthy to the man who was undoubtedly sorry, took the herb. He then bit into it, and a displeased face came across him, mostly because of the bad taste, but he handled it and he felt his back immediately start to feel better. Hal ate the rest and his back was as good as new. "Amazing! This is beyond helpful. I thank thee for thy generosity" He smiled and then gave a amused look when Thor mentioned he wasn't the only one that looked familiar to Thor. Sherlock Holmes, apparently, looked like a friend of Thor's named Tony. Well, that was a funny situation wasn't it?
Hal was grinning kindly to Thor as he apoligized again and responded "Quite alright. My back was healed thanks to your herbs, so I believe it is a job done" He breathed and held out his hand "It is best we now better introduce ourselves since we are allies. Let me repeat myself politely, I am Hal. What is your name?"
"Thank you. I am deeply sorry for mistaking you for my brother. I would like that. To be friends. said Thor.
He paused feeling sad as this man didn't just look like Loki. But he reminded him of the brother he once had. It made him happier. Thor smiled as Hal thanked him for the ambrosia.
"Your welcome. I'm glad you're healed. I don't have much of this unfortunately as I didn't realize I was coming here. So I suppose I should use this for emergencies." said Thor.
He paused as Hal said his back was healed and introduced himself.
"I am Thor. The Norse God of Thunder and one of the Avengers. A superhero team in my world. You might have met some of my colleagues already. Bruce Banner also known as the Hulk. Tony Stark also known as Iron Man. And Steve Rogers also known as Captain America. And the scientist Pepper Potts. They all arrived here before I have. I still haven't run into Steve or Pepper yet but I'm sure I'll run into them eventually." said Thor.

"Then we shall take this to stride and be good angels to each other from now on. We can start to be friends, strong man" Hal responded, calling Thor strong because that was precisely what he was. His back anew, he stood properly up-right and he breathed clearly now. He was just glad that this problem was over and that the two could get along. He liked Thor, he reminded him of Poins. Not the strength obviously but the hot temper he had as well as a very kind heart overall. That made Hal happy about Poins but also a bit sad since Poins was obviously dead by this point of time. Hal smiled as Thor welcomed him and expressed cheer for hal's back but stated he needed to be safe with the herbs due to not having a lot, because of being unprepared in arriving here. Hal nodded solemnly "Then keep it with you and use it only for dire situations, emergiencies. I blame you not for wanting to be careful with such a precious gift"
He shook hands with Thor as the god introduced himself and called himself a "Avenger" who was basically a hero who helped out the world in need. Hal chuckled as Thor stated that he probably have met Tony and Bruce banner, and also Steve Rogers and Pepper Potts. The former king nodded "I have seen your friend bruce, he is a rather calm fellow. Nothing makes him angry" He chuckled again "Your friend Tony is quite the speaker. He is rather amusing. As for Pepper Potts, she is rather quick on her feet and tends to avoid me as well as other people, she may fear this place" He shrugged and then smiled softly about Steve "As for your friend Steve I relate to him a lot. He is a kind soul but has pressure down his back. He wishes to work hard but so many things enter the war. God help him" He then let out a big grin and patted the god's back "As for you sir, you are indeed a god due to your strength being so legendary no man could ever overpower it. It really is a pleasure to meet you for true this time, Thor"
"I'm glad for that. Perhaps we should keep this quiet. I wouldn't want to scare anyone into thinking I might hurt them." said Thor.
He'd tell the leaders if that's what Hal wanted. But it was an accident. One he didn't intend on repeating. He nodded as Thor agreed to keep the ambrosia safe.
"I will. Perhaps I should give this to the medics in this army to help heal the serious injuries. Since I'm a god I heal quick anyway so I wouldn't really need this." said Thor.
He smiled shaking Hal's hand as he spoke about Bruce.
"He only appears angry. The trick with him is he's always angry. You see if he loses control of his anger he turns into The hulk. A super strong green monster that just wants to destroy things. He tries to not let the Hulk out unless absolutely necessary. From what I've heard." said Thor.
He smiled with a grin as he talked about Tony, Pepper, and Steve.
"You seem to know them quite well in a short amount of time. Impressive." said Thor.
He paused as the man patted him on the back complimenting his strength.
"Thank you. I think only another god-like my brother Loki could stand a chance at stopping me. Well unless I was turned mortal again." said Thor.

Hal was fine with Thor's request to keep this to himself. It was a accident and if someone knew about it, it would cause gossip and rumors and the poor god didn't need more badgering related to this fact. Hal nodded "Absolutely. Consider this event forgotten" He then smiled assuringly, intent on keeping his word. Especially since Thor was now so kind to him to help heal him.
"All the more reason to keep it safely and use it for only emergencies. Since you are a god, it is best to save it for others less fortunate" Hal agreed as Thor responded to him about the herbs that he gave Hal. Although he was grateful for them, Hal knew it was always best to prevent someone dying from not having a magic herb to save them. The former king smiled as Thor spoke about Bruce, frowning in surprise as Thor explained that he was always angry and if he lost his temper he would turn into a green monster "Well then. I suppose I should be relieved he is not the green monster of which you speak of. I wonder what he really is like as the green monster" He shrugged not bothering with Bruce anymore and chuckled as Thor commented he knew his friends quickly therefore being impressive. Hal fanned his hand away as if to say Oh it's nothing. Stop it you're making me blush
"Mortal again? What do you mean by again? Have you been mortal before? I don't mean to pry" Hal asked, sounding curious and interested. Since his new friend was a god who just admitted being mortal, he wanted to know why and how. "Your brother is named Loki? Hmmm. Care to tell me why he is your enemy now? You don't have to if you do not wish"

"Thank you. But be careful. Others might mistake you for Loki. Maybe not here. But one of the other armies might. You look enough like him that could cause some problems." said Thor.
Thor nodded.
"The medical staff will know when to use it. It will be safer with them. If I keep it might be destroyed in battle or stolen." said Thor.
He chuckled as he said he was glad he isn't the green monster.
"I guess he could say he has some anger issues. But as long as he's in control of his anger the Hulk won't be making an appearance." said Thor.
Thor grinned as Hal seemed like it was nothing he'd learned so much about Tony, Bruce, and the others so quickly. He paused and sighed as he asked how he was mortal and how Loki became his enemy.
"It's not something I'm proud of. I led an attack on a neighboring kingdom after they attacked us. I thought I was doing the right thing. Instead, I started a war. My father Odin had no choice. He turned me mortal and banished me to Earth. But I had a chance to become a god again if I could find my hammer Mjolnir and pick it up. I met Jane, Darcy, and Erik who helped me adjust to my mortal life.
I found my hammer but I couldn't pick it up. It didn't find me worthy. But then Loki came after me. He had orchestrated everything to get me out of the way so he could take over Midgard. He sent a robot named the Destroyer after me and my friends from Midgard came to help me. But it wasn't enough. I let Loki kill me to save my friends and everyone else. But that made me worthy of Mjolnir who came to me and revived me. I helped stop Loki but he escaped and later caused problems again. I joined a team of heroes called the Avengers and stopped him for good. He was in a prison in Asgard but then I got pulled here." said Thor.

Hal smiled, and nodded making a note to make sure to stand out somehow to prevent confusion with his likeness of loki. He turned to Thor and responded assuringly "Do not worry. With my red hair and beard I am sure to make them aware I am nothing like your brother" He then chuckled "That said I will make sure they do not mistake me for another" He then nodded in both agreement to what thor stated about bruce and about his herbs. The herbs he thought would be incredibly useful to the medical team and smiled knowing the sick would feel just a bit better than before.
Hal then widened his eyes as Thor explained about his past, as well as his ties with Loki. It turned out Thor was a mortal once as punishment for making a war out of nothing and that his brother also tried to go against both of them to kill races and take over Midgard, something that Hal best assumed was earth, and he felt a bit more empathetic for the god. If he saw someone who looked like a enemy, maybe Hal would've sparred off like Thor did too. Hal nodded then realized Thor asked him about his own life. While not as exciting as Thor's, Hal was pretty sure it was interesting enough to tell a god. Besides, he didn't need to be curious forever.
Hal breathed "To make a tale quite short: I was once the king of england in my time, somewhere many years in the past, I was called Henry V but Hal is my name due to my adolencent times of keeping that name with low-lives. Let us just say my rebel years were indeed in my young adult years before becoming a king. I have changed a lot since that time but that is not the main part of my tale. I have fought wars in france to earn their land as well as keep my english land. It took me admittedly a lot of men and work but I have won it. Unfortunately I died before I could see my new land prosper by my hand. I was brought back from the grave by a unknown source and I came here" The last sentence was a lie but he didn't want anyone to know that he came from enemy territory. He would earn hatred, he assumed, by them all if he confessed this to anyone. He sighed "My story is not as fantastic as yours friend. You are a god who turned mortal and became a god again. Not many people can brag about that"
"I still think you should careful. Loki has magic. He is the god of lies and tricks. If he learns you are here all he'd have to do is change his appearance to look like you and then you could be a target. And there are some very powerful members in Facilier's army who would want Loki dead. And while Loki could survive most of their attacks you could not." said Thor.
When he finished with his story he listened to Hal and grinned. He paused realizing he was a king. He listened to him and forced a smile.
"Your right about that. There have been many demigods but a story of a god becoming a mortal is rare I agree." said Thor.
He paused and knelt before him.
"I am not just a god. I'm a prince of my kingdom. The crime of attempt murder of royalty is punishable by death or banishment in my kingdom. Say the word and I'll go and never return." said Thor.
He felt bad enough that he'd hurt him. But learning he was a king he was horrified. Odin had banished him and made him mortal just for attacking the Frost Giant people. Loki had killed their king later. But he knew he wouldn't have returned to Midgard if he'd done something like this. He bowed his head waiting for him to reply.
