Mistaken Identity (Hal)

[Thor]

Thor smiled.

"Good. I don't know if this will work but I want to try. If this fails then I'm making sure you and Magnus have bodyguards. I will take one of the shifts. Facilier and his goons won't hesitate to attack either of you if they think you're Loki.:" said Thor.

Thor smiled at him.

"Thank you. I know I've made some improvements but not enough. I let my anger and worry cloud my judgement and I attacked you. Even if you had been Loki I could have just gotten myself into more trouble. No wonder my father refused to let me taking his place one day. What of king rushes into things without thinking things through? I see now I would have been a terrible king." said Thor.

Thor nods as the subject of brainwashing.

"I think we should possibly find a spell to at least determine if there is anyone who's brainwashed in the armies. Perhaps Queen Grimhilde could use that enchanted mirror of hers to learn the answers as well. Enslaving a person's will is wrong. We must free Leonardo and anyone else under their enchantments. Although I fear others may have been deceived. And they may be harder to discover." said Thor.

Thor grinned at him.

"I'm glad to hear that. Perhaps we could exchange stories sometime. I'd love to hear about your world and your many adventures. And I could tell you some of mine." said Thor.

He shrugged as Hal explained about the black and white film.

"So it's like primitive technology for making movies then. That would make sense. You invent something and then if you find a way to improve it you do. Which they clearly did by adding color and sound." said Thor.

Thor paused at his question.

"Well if my father could make me mortal for a few days. Then there has to be a way to turn a mortal into a god or goddess. Although if there was a way it's probably in Asgard. Or one of those other worlds like the one Hades is from. So I suppose it doesn't matter. Unless objects from other world start showing up here as well." said Thor.

[Henry V/Hal]

"If the plan fails I would indeed be happy to have you as my bodyguard, as I feel Magnus would be also. We need protection since we look similar to your brother" Hal agreed finally, ending the discussion about Thor's idea. Hal didn't think it would work but he wouldn't say that, he wanted to try. Just like thor seemed to want to try.

"Thor, you must understand that just because you need to improve in your self-control does not mean you can never be angry. Your brother obviously has problems with you or the other way around and if I were in your position I probably would've done the same thing. Yes, mistakes must be corrected, but mistakes are what make people learn and therefore become better. Your actions were wrong but you yourself are not above making mistakes. It is alright, believe me" Hal replied, feeling the need to make thor understand that he was forgiven. That despite his mistakes, thor could always be aware that he was still a good man in the end. Having thor be so upset with himself made Hal realize that the god of thunder really was indeed a good man to be this guilty over a small fight.

"I concur. We must find whomever is forced to be there and release them from their prison. Leonardo is one example but the others are just as important as he is. I agree, enslaving one's mind for one's own ends is completely wrong" Hal responded, fear still evident in his tone "God. I cannot understand how this type of magic exists. It is most frightening" He rubbed his face and put the sign of the cross once more. Because he was deeply intimidated and couldn't help himself

"Ah yes of course! Stories of where you have come from would be quite a pleasure to hear about. And perhaps telling you hilarious stories of my youth would be fun to retell" Hal responded happily, a bright smile coming across his features.

"Exactly! That is what I said when I first discovered this! Incredible isn't it? Time can act similarly to the speed of a healthy horse. Faster than you can comprehend" Hal responded as the discussion of film continued. "Well then. I leave it for you to do then. I will only give you a wish in luck in that you succeed in your goal" He responded again as Thor explained his situation with Jane.

[Thor]

Thor grinned glad Hal was agreeing to letting him be his bodyguard if the other plan failed. He would not let Magnus or Hal pay for looking like his brother. He paused at Hal's words and smiled.

"I suppose you're right. It's just my temper has gotten me into so much trouble. I'm doing better at it. It did shame me to learn Bruce had better control of his anger than I did. And he turns into a green monster when he's really angry. I want to do better. I need to control my emotions and not let them control me." said Thor.

He smiled as Hal said it was alright. Hal didn't blame him for their earlier fight. Thor probably would be blaming himself for awhile though.

"Sorry. I know you forgave me. You're a very kind man and a good friend. I just tend to dwell on my failures and mistakes a lot. I tend to make more of those while I'm trying to do something good. I guess that's another thing I need to work on." said Thor.

He nodded as the subject shifted to enslaved people.

"I hope we find a way to free them. No one should be enslaved like that. It will be tough to break these spells though." said Thor.

Thor nodded.

"I suppose it is hard to understand for people who've never dealt with it. Being a god and living in Asgard I've gotten used to it I suppose. Although I'm not still not used to this modern world or things like scientific inventions. Like the one that brought us all here." said Thor.

Thor grinned.

"Excellent my friend. Sharing stories of our adventures and our lives has to be more fun than some movie. Besides movies have writers. They basically made up that stuff. Although I suppose I have embellished some of my tales here and there but it was at least based on truth." said Thor.

Thor looked at him confused.

"Time acts like a horse?" asked Thor.

Thor nodded.

"Thank you. If I can't find a way to turn her into a goddess then I've thought about turning mortal. Once we return home. Then we could grow old together. I don't fear death but I wouldn't want to keep going on without her. I love her." said Thor.

[Henry V/Hal]

"Exactly. All you need is control and that is easy to learn once you understand how. I am always available for this sort of thing, because of my own troubles with my emotions every once in a while" Hal said, understanding what thor was getting at. Seeing Thor's willingness to improve and become more in control with his temper made Hal truly believe that he was serious about all of this.

"Well, making mistakes is part of the process of improving yourself. So it is bound to be that you shall make mistakes during your goal to become a better person. But that is the way it is, I myself have learned this, the hard way I must admit" Hal said, shrugging a little before listening to thor take a different subject to the enslaved people again. It didn't help that they didn't have any tools to help those people at the moment, so the discussion did make hal slightly more and more nervous "Yes. I agree. As difficult as it might be, we must find a way to rescue these innocent people. And being used to different types of technology is just as hard for me as it is for you I'm sure, maybe even more so" He sighed, annoyed with himself with being so naive to this world. He hoped through time he'd learn much faster.

"I completely agree. Telling stories that are based on aspects of a person's actual life is much more interesting. I do not want to be so arrogant but I admit that some of my stories can be most amusing" Hal said, a bright smile once again on his features as the subject changed again. He then chuckled as thor was confused with his expression "Tis an old english saying. It means that time is incredibly fast, like a horse"

"It is very evident that you love this woman. And I am very happy for you. Whatever is your decision for what to do, I shall leave it up entirely to your choosing. For it is your life, not mine. I wish you nothing more than the best" Hal said, patting thor's shoulder gently.
