Hal nodded at Thor's warnings "I understand. I shall look upon the future wearily. I know what it is like to have your head put on a price" Hal winced remembering the french ambassidor threatening his army's life if he didn't surrender. He shook his head eventually and looked to see Thor suddenly become nervous again when he confessed being a king, and it turned out Thor too was a prince as well as a God. And due to the rules of honor with royalty that if there was a murder attempt on them, it was punishable by death or exile. But Hal already forgave Thor from his previous apoligy, it didn't matter to Hal anymore, especially since the god helped heal him.
"Friend. I have already forgiven you! Please, do not leave. Your strength is something this army needs. It is wrong to force someone to leave because of a misunderstanding. If you threatened my life as what I really am then I would consider it but you did not, you assumed me as another. That is not a crime punishable by death" Hal offered his hand and smiled, seeing Thor still feel very bad about what he did. The man had no hard feelings. "Besides, you apoligized to me and helped me heal. Without that I might not walk straight, so for that also you are forgiven already"
Thor nodded knowing the man would be careful. Hearing Hal say he was forgiven Thor stood up still feeling bad.
"I'm grateful. I won't forget your kindness and your mercy." said Thor.
Hal had forgiven him so he wouldn't bring this up again. But he would do what he could to make it up to him. Be his friend, and help protect him. If one of the villains thought he was Loki they wouldn't stop until he was dead. He would not let Hal suffer for Loki's crimes.
"I vow to make up for my foolishness and help keep you safe. Facilier's army will target you thinking you're Loki. Loki himself may come after you just because you look like him. I will not let anyone else hurt you if I can help it. Your a member of this army and my friend. That is if you want me as a friend." said Thor.

Unfortunately a lot do my friend He thought to himself as his god friend thanked him for his kindness. He was rather touched that someone as powerful as Thor would be so regretful or humble, but as Thor told him he wasn't always like this so Hal was also glad he got to know this side to him. He didn't want to bring it up anymore. They were friends and enough was said. He then perked his head up curiously as Thor promised to help him our and make up what he did previously. He then paled at the response that people would assume he was loki because of his facial features. While he did have ginger hair and a beard, something of which Hal previously was considering to shave, the rest of him was enough to fool Thor so Facilier could be next for him. Hal sighed "Very well. I am already a high target for the other armies anyway due to my allegience to Critic but I suppose being assumed as your brother might come up. That said, I do have differences, as is my fair hair and whatnot" He pointed to his beard and hair with a smile. Then he responded again as Thor requested to be his friend "Of course. We are friends. I am more than willing to want a friend like you. Now thor, as your friend, I highly suggest you also be careful. God or no god, things can happen"
Thor remained silent as Hal was quite for a bit until he spoke again.
"Then we shall train together. Perhaps I can be your bodyguard if you like. No one would dare attack you with me at your side." said Thor.
He felt he owed him a debt anyway since he forgave him and didn't banissh or kill him.
"I'm glad to hear that friend. Yes. I know. I'm an immortal but not invincible. If my powers and godhood are taken away again I'm as vulnerable as any mortal. There are a few things that could kill me but none exist in this universe that I'm aware of. Well except Loki's staff. Since it's an Asgard weapon it can harm me. I think it could be used to kill me but I'm not sure." said Thor.

A bodyguard? As nice as that sounded, Hal could take perfect care of himself, that said having Thor behind his back would definitely be amazingly helpful. The man responded calmly "I appreciate your offer to be my um bodyguard as you called it but I prefer helping myself. That said, if I need your help which I might I will be more than happy to let you know this. Also training with you would be quite fun do you not think so?" Hal said this with a huge smile on his face. He didn't want to make Thor feel bad but he felt the need to be independant come within him. His father Henry IV always was a person who didn't like help but hal was very free-ranged with that type of thing. He was also glad Thor took his advice seriously and agreed with it, Hal was honestly expecting Thor to respond with decline or something but then again the god felt so guilty after realizing who hal was so there was that.
He then pondered about Loki's staff, if it was powerful enough to harm Thor what if it was still here? Hal coughed slightly then asked "Your brother still haves the staff I assume? Just what exactly can that thing do? Does it act like a sword or, what the leader of a army calls, a gun?"
"Sorry. I meant against Loki. You seem to be quite tough. I have a feeling if I wasn't super strong you could have been the one beating me. But Loki's a god. And many are powerful in both armies and a couple are just as strong as Loki. I just want to help keep you and everyone here safe. I'm a god. I have the power to protect everyone from the worst of the attacks. I don't want anyone to end up like the great warrior Ma-Ti." said Thor.
He paused as he said training with him could be fun.
"Sure. I'll just have to remember to hold back my strength so we don't have a repeat of this. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone here." said Thor.
He nodded at Hal's question.
"Yes. He does. It can be used to stab someone. He already killed a good friend back home. A man named Coulson. But the staff enhances Loki's powers. With it he can brainwash people into following him. He had a couple friends under his control Clint and Eric. And we had to knock them out just to break his hold. Although sometimes I wonder if Loki just let them go because he didn't need them anymore." said Thor.

Oh. Now Hal understood by the offer of being a bodyguard. Thor would help him defend himself against loki. Thor understood that he could fight but not against his brother. Hal nodded, realizing his mistake. He then nodded. If Thor was human the two would be wrestling fairly but since thor was a god was hal easily defeated. Then Hal pondered, if thor was this powerful his brother could've been just as powerful or worse. "In that case I humbly accept your invitation. Forgive my misunderstanding. With a god by my side, I am sure to be safe"
He then smiled as Thor agreed and chuckled in good amusement when thor mentioned he needed to be more careful. He agreed and took some humor with it. "Indeed friend! The last thing this army needs are sore backs! Let us practice with our weapons rather than our hands eh?" He laughed some more. Now that the two were allies, no scratch that new friends, Hal showed that there were no hard feelings against the god. Thor proved he meant nothing by it so why should Hal be so unforgiving. Sure he was cynical and usually stuck to the here and now but he did have a good sense of humor.
Hal's laughter stopped when Thor reminded him of Loki's staff being able to do brainwash, kill and severely defeat gods. That type of power was something Hal took quite seriously, as seen with his somewhat nervous expression. It was one thing for a human to have that but a god had the maturity or knowledge to use the powers to it's full potential. Loki was slowly but surely sounding like a nightmare to deal with more than a enemy, Hal was suffice it to say that he would be frightened to be killed assumed as Loki or someone similiar. The king sighed, before expressing nervously "Well then. This staff seems to be something to not take lightly. I have never heard of brainwashing but I suppose I should not wish to find out. Thank you for letting me know of this object. It gives me some awareness of what your brother is capable of"
"Thank you. There are others gods, sorcerers in the armies. They're not all as powerful as my brother but all very deadly. So be careful out there. I don't know your experience with magic. So perhaps you should consider training with some of our magical members like Willie or Maleficent to prepare yourself." said Thor.
He smirked as Hal agreed as he sighed.
"I suppose I'll have to train by myself. There's no one in this army who matches my strength that I'm aware of. I hurt you pretty badly and I wouldn't want to hurt anyone else." said Thor.
He paused as Hal listened to him about Loki's staff and powers. He nodded when Hal agreed to heed his warning about the staff.
"Yes. They've already used magic to brainwash people in both armies. We recently recovered a woman named Goggles who was under magical brainwashing for a long time. But Facilier's army does have a few soldiers under its control. We must find a way to free them." said Thor.
He smiled at him.
"Well, perhaps we should hang out as Tony puts it. Get to know each other better. Perhaps swap stories or just chat. I still don't know how to work the magic box they call TV." said Thor.

Hal wasn't entirely happy with the fact that there were people similar to Loki, mostly because Hal knew from experience that if you couldn't handle what you fought, you normally died. Nevertheless Thor's company brought him huge relief and comfort, especially since Thor and he were on good terms. He nodded at the idea of being training partners from time to time with Willie or Maleficent. "Sounds like a intelligent idea to me" Hal said. He just realized that he pretty much said a modern sentence, to a certain degree, and found himself liking it but still loved to do his shakespearian language so while he'd do that he would still speak the way he spoke thus far, as a victorian man, that was one of the only things he wished to cherish from his past. It made him sound more dignified or respectful. Or so he thought.
"Do not say such vile things about yourself. It was a accidental dispute. Try to fight the man called Wreck-It-Ralph. He has big hands, perhaps he shall spar with thy?" Hal suggested kindly. He didn't want the man to train by himself. Despite that being helpful, Thor would have to fight someone instead of a tree. So Hal knew to advice something like this.
He then grew pale at the mentions of magic and brainwashing. Although he was not much interested in these things and knew magic was sometimes for good, he and his family did tend to be interested in those, dark magic or black magic to him was a very bad sin. He was afraid of the concept and especially afraid that black magic did indeed exist. He coughed to let some of his fear out and responded "Well. Suppose I keep my guard then. I do not wish to be taken away like Ms. Goggles. Losing one's mind can be worse than losing one's body" He shuddered at that
"Ah yes! Elisa taught me about the wonders of TV and movies! Such facinating things isn't it, friend? They make people act with actual costumes and the box shows us this!" Hal brightened up immediately at Thor's mention of Television. Hal was extremely interested in such a thing. He then nodded "Yes though, chatting together and exchanging tales of ourselves is most pleasant of a option to get to know each other's company" He smiled, gently patting the other's back. He then smiled "I have a question for you thor. Do you have your significant other? A love I mean"
(ooc: Making up the spell idea. But perhaps magnus gets caught before its finished. or they drop the idea because they're not sure if it'll work later.)
Thor nodded agreeing to train with the more powerful members to avoid hurting anyone else. He was still worried about Hal and Magnus's safety.
"Perhaps there is something we could do. There are sorcerers in this army. Perhaps we could disguise you and Magnus or cloak you somehow. Like if an enemy looks at you they wouldn't think you looked like Loki at all. You'd still be you. People just would think twice about the resemblance. It'd keep you both safe. If we could get Maleficent and the others to make the right spell." said Thor.
He paused and nodded.
"I hurt you. You've forgiven me but I can not forget. I only want to harm my enemies and I will work better on controlling my strength. Sometimes I think Bruce is better at controlling his anger than I am. And he's the one who turns into the Hulk." said Thor.
He was still working on his anger problems. He wasn't as bad as before but his snap judgement and urge to rush into danger had cost him before and had nearly cost Hal his life if he hadn't realized his mistake. Only this time there was no Odin around to strip his powers away. He needed to get better control of his anger or strip his powers. These powers were no good if he hurt his allies. Of course he wouldn't say that out loud not wanting to make Hal upset. He nodded when Hal said he'd be careful.
"I'm glad to hear that. There are still a few brainwashed or lied to in both armies we're hoping to save. We just don't want to lose anyone else of course." said Thor.
Thor grinned as he listened to him.
"Elisa is quite a woman. She can be scary at times. Almost as scary as Sif or my mother. But don't tell her I said that." said Thor.
He paused looking around as if expecting Elisa to jump out of a corner and yell "Aha!" or something.
"Yes. I would like to get to know you better too Hal. Although I know very little of the modern era so perhaps you can work the tv. I wouldn't want to break it." said Thor.
He paused as Hal asked if he had a love and he nodded.
"Yes. Jane Foster. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. I lost her once when I was trapped in my kingdom after Loki destroyed the only way back to Earth but now we're reunited and I won't let anything seperate us again." said Thor.

(OCC: I think it'd be best if we just made the characters realize that it wouldn't work and don't bother finishing it. I feel that it's best we just have them agree but then see it just wouldn't work since Magnus was captured and drop the idea. But poor Thor, he's gonna get seperated from jane for a while XD)
Hal didn't see why having Thor's idea of having some magical disguise as a bad thing. He found it a possibility. He didn't know if it would work but they could always see. "Perhaps maleficent will be willing. I am uncertain of the chance but your ideas sound helpful. Magnus and myself look like twins but our faces look similar to Loki's, at it obviously shows, so I will give this idea a try" He shrugged, sincerely thinking about the idea.
"I understand your anger my friend. I too suffer this problem. We can work on it together if you wish" Hal suggested, seeing Thor still feel really bad. He didn't want Thor to feel bad but he couldn't stop him even if he tried. Thor was his own man and hal didn't feel like changing it now, especially since with persuasion it seemed that thor was still going to feel bad. It was a sign of true sincerity. He patted his friend's shoulder again, looking the man up and down in some sort of approval and support.
"Ah, yes. Brainwashing, you say that and forgive me for lack of understanding. That term is once again new to thine. Care to explain to me about that also? It is something to do with manipulation I know this but I lack the expression of understanding what brainwashing precisely is" Hal responded, a slightly confused expression right on his face. He was still new to modern expression so brainwashing was still confusing to him. Thor saying brainwash more than once now was bothering him and he wanted to finally know/understand what exactly it meant.
He grinned proudly as Thor confirmed that Elisa was quite a woman. Hal completely agreed. Her distinct personality is what drawn him to motivation to court her, as well as her good looks. He chuckled as Thor commented that she was sort of scary, similar to thor's mother or some girl named Sif. He nodded as his friend asked him to not speak about it and laughed loudly as Thor turned around, to see if elisa was not there. "She's not around my friend. I think she's still inside. It's just us two" He winked casually, as if to tease thor "Yet, I will warn you if she does come by"
"I know nothing of how to work said television. I am learning myself. I know how to turn it on and off but if it was breaking, I would not be the one to fix it. Not to worry though, we have plenty of intelligent people besides us, they can help us with it if it ever comes to break" Hal said, cheerfully and plainly as Thor and he talked a bit more about television. "I just watched this silent movie by a man named charlie chaplin, quite charming and amusing. Something called the gold rush. The man named Spoony gave it to me for a while before he asked for it back" He shrugged after a while
"Jane Foster" Hal repeated, a smile gracing on his lips, glad that his friend was on the same boat as him. "It seems we both were lucky to recieve such cunning, lovely, charming women yes? Now that you and her are united again, I pray nothing more than the best for both of ye"
"I shall ask Maleficent and the others. I won't let you or Magnus suffer for my brother's crimes just because you look alike." said Thor.
He smiled at him as Hal suggested to help him work on their anger.
"Thank you my friend. I would like that." said Thor.
Thor paused as he asked about brainwashing.
"They use magic or science or even both to make someone their slave. Sometimes even taking away their memories so they'd be easier to control. Poor Leonardo has none of his memories and is forced to serve Malachite. And he's just one of the slaves in the armies." said Thor.
Thor relaxed a little glad Elisa was not around and Hal said he wasn't around. He grinned as Hal said he'd warn him if she came by.
"Thanks. Ah, I don't understand it much myself. I was too busy fighting my brother and aliens and the Destroyer the last couple times I was on Earth. I usually let Jane or the others operate it. Besides, I'd probably break it somehow." said Thor.
He listened to him.
"A silent movie?" asked Thor confused.
He smiled as Hal said they were both lucky to have such cunning, lovely women.
"Yes we are. And this time I will make sure nothing seperates us. That she stays safe. I almost lost her once. I won't lose her again." said Thor.

"Very well. I thank thee for this idea. I do hope it might work" Hal said, despite his sore feeling that it might not. He didn't want to say it because of not wanting to disregard the idea even if he didn't believe in it. Hey, it could work so why not try it out? He shook that out of the way when Thor thanked him for being willing to help him out on his anger management "Not a problem, friend. It is a pleasure"
Hal's face turned from calm content to a disturbed displeasure. The fact that brainwashing was something of magic and/or science to manipulate someone into another's command, some of which could cost memories such as the turtle known as Leonardo, was extremely frightening. Hal would never want to put himself in a situation where he could lose memories of himself or elisa and be forced to serve another he didn't want to live for. He sighed before responding, a hint of nervousness in his tone "Then we must indeed make haste to rescue the turtle as well as others who became like him. A type of fate like this could be debated as a fate worse than death"
"No thanks needed, and yes it is a difficult thing to understand. I know the basics of turning it on and off but I am afraid that is it for me. I suppose we can just let jane or others do it for us, since it is not really a life skill" Hal replied with a half-hearted shrug. "A silent movie is a long story where men do not talk but only move and it is usually in black and white and only music is on. It has many pictures and it works on the television screens" He explained patiently as Thor asked him what a silent movie was. He understood his friend didn't know what that was so he did his best to explain.
"I wish you luck, Thor. Jane Foster I am very sure will be safe in your hands. I hope nothing more than the best" Hal said finally, smiling as Thor promised to take good care of jane and not lose her like he did once before.
"Well if it doesn't work at least we tried. And if it does work then we can keep you and Magnus safe. Plus magical disguises could be helpful for spying on them." said Thor.
He smiled as Hal said it wasn't a problem to help him out with his anger problems.
"Thanks again. I really do appreciate it. I just don't want to act without thinking anymore. Or I could really hurt someone." said Thor.
He paused as Hal seemed upset about the news of what brainwashing meant.
"Yes. We will. I'm not sure how many are being brainwashed in Facilier and Ask That Guy's Army. It may just be Leonardo but if they've done it to him there's more likely others as well." said Thor.
He nodded.
"I suppose we'll just let Jane and the others help us with the tv. Although I don't really care about it. I don't mind watching it with the others for fun. But I'd prefer to share stories verbally or train. Or just have fun the old fashioned way." said Thor.
He paused listening to him explain about silent movies.
"Interesting. Why would people make silent black and white movies? I thought movies were supposed to have color, music, and talking. How would you tell a story with no sound? Mortals are very strange sometimes." said Thor.
He grinned.
'Thank you my friend. I've often thought of finding a way to make Jane a goddess. Then she could be protected. But there most likely isn't a way in this world." said Thor.

"Yes to both options. If it fails we tried and if it does not, we have made things easy for both magnus and I" Hal responded in agreement to thor's idea about giving them a magical disguise. He knew it was worth a shot. Hal didn't mind taking the idea to consideration.
"You are right in wanting to correct your anger. Your anger can be your enemy's weapon and they can take advantage of you" Hal responded, honestly touched that Thor was serious in changing the way of his behavior. It really seemed thor was very regretful of his actions. Hal understood the feelings quite well. The two could really get along emotionally if they worked hard to support each other.
"Whether it only be leonardo or plenty of others, it bothers me that they take advantage of others like this. We must put a end to it. For all we know, we might join them if we are not careful. Yes you are a god but you might be endangered by more powerful people and could result in this horrific type of punishment" Hal said, fear evident in his tone. He was scared by brainwashing by this point. What if he got brainwashed and attacked elisa? He would never forgive himself if it happened. Or worse, what if elisa was brainwashed and attacked him? He would never forgive himself for allowing something like that to happen to her. It frightened him in every way, because his firm belief in black magic being used for demonic and evil purposes.
"Agreed. You and I think alike when it comes to entertainment purposes. Stories are more interesting to me then movies. We shall leave the tv repairments to jane and the others though. I do not care about the television too much myself" Hal said in agreement when it came to entertainment and the possible problems they might run into when it came to tv problems.
"Perhaps there was a time where they could not have color, music and talking. Maybe they learned how to do that after they had made silent movies. Perhaps film was a progress of learning?" Hal questioned. He agreed in that it was rather strange the progress of filming but hal knew things had a learning process sometimes. You never knew how long it took to make a film that had color and sound.
"I doubt there is a way to immortalize her my friend. Playing with death can lead to large and bad punishment" Hal said, voice stern and serious. He never agreed with ways to play god. He never felt the need to anyway. He already was ok with his life so far. He intended to make the most of his mortality rather than increase his life span.
