[Malachite Gamic]

Malachite smiled as Olive assured his feelings that he would be honest. But he did want to stay.

"Thank you. I want you to feel comfortable and happy here. And I don't want my insecurities to get in the way of that. But I don't regret this choice. I want you as my son and I'm grateful you want me as a father. I'll try not to disappoint you." said Malachite.

He smiled as Olive seemed happy to speed up the process with magic.

"I certainly will. Probably with help from Facilier as some of my powers are quite new and I want to make sure I use my magic right." said Malachite.

He grinned giving Olive a hug feeling much better just for talking with him.

"I'm feeling better already. Summoning your mother took a lot out of me. More than I expected. But I know you needed closure. And I'm glad I could help you." said Malachite.

Olive nodded as malachite said he wanted olive to feel happy and comfortable "I understand. I know you want to make me happy but I already am happy now. You're here as my dad and that's good enough so far. I know you won't let me down" He said in a assuring and sincere tone of voice. He grinned as Malachite said he didn't regret the choice he made, which was a relief because olive didn't want to become a burden either.

"Awesome! Facilier helping out or something like that makes it go even faster!" Olive said in a positive tone. He wanted to get the whole situation down and fast before it suddenly changed. He didn't want anything to go wrong with this. He wanted a chance to have a happy family again.

"Well I still appreciate you finding her for me. Thanks. I'm glad you're feeling better though, hopefully you'll feel completely better quickly" Olive replied happily. He was glad his mom saw him but was also glad malachite would feel ok soon. He did enjoy the chatter he had with Malachite though.

Malachite grinned relieved as he gave Olive another hug.

"I'm glad you're happy and that you want to stay. I would have been very sad if you'd left but I'd never want to make you stay." said Malachite.

He nodded agreeing with Facilier's help it should go faster. He smiled as Olive was glad he got to talk to his mother and hoped Malachite would feel back to normal soon.

"I will. This isn't permanent. I'll just feel a bit tired for a couple of hours. The side effect of such a powerful spell." said Malachite.

He smiled at him.

"I know there aren't many kids in this army. I think you and Gi are the only ones we have so far. But get to know Gi and some of the others. I know Shaggy and Jasper treated you ok the first time you came here. I appointed Shaggy as your bodyguard so get to know him. I will need to find you a more human-looking bodyguard for when you when wish to go out and I'm not available. I will not let Ask That Guy or his goons try to hurt you to get to me." said Malachite.

"Well you won't have to now. I'm going to stay. No matter what happens" Olive replied, calmly and with a hint of stubbornness. He was happy with being here so he saw no reason to demand to leave, nor to abandon his post within Facilier's walls. Facilier was a good man within all the proof held against it, and malachite was the same. Olive knew what it was like to be disregarded and malachite was a man who was willing to show olive that he, regardless of luck, was entitled to belong someplace.

He smiled as Malachite relieved his fears by saying he just was going to feel tired, the side effect of a powerful spell as returning his mother for the short period of time. "Well that's good. I really do appreciate you giving me a chance to see my mother again" He got a bit teary thinking about it but he wiped them away.

Olive was aware Malachite wanted Olive to belong to the army, as heard from the sorcerer's attempts to convince him to get to know the other children as well as the members of the army. So naturally Olive obediently nodded "I will dad. I'm sure I'll like them" At the mention of Jasper and Shaggy, Olive's eyes widened with delight. Yes, he remembered the werewolf and thief very well mostly because of the utmost respect and kindness the two gave him when they met. He was delighted to hear shaggy was one of his bodyguards but unfortunately had to have another guard. "How about Jasper? He said he'd be there for me if I needed it. Why not him too?" Olive suggested. He then raised a eyebrow as Malachite promised to not allow Ask thatguy or his army members hurt him to get to malachite. "I'll be fine dad. I'm going to stay away from them. I'll be sure to do my part as my bodyguards will do there's"

"Let's not worry about ask thatguy now. Let's just go back to the others and see how they're doing huh?" Olive suggested not wanting to stay around in the place the two in anymore.

Malachite smiled.

"I'm glad for that. It will be nice to have family again. Someone to care about." said Malachite.

Malachite grinned at Olive.

"Don't worry. I'll be back to normal again in no time. I'm glad you got to see your mother again. I wish I could have had her stay a bit longer or even have brought her back for you. I'm just grateful you've given me the chance to be your father." said Malachite.

Malachite grinned.

"I'm sure you will. There aren't many children or teens in this army so far. So make friends with them and the others as well." said Malachite.

Malachite paused.

"I was thinking perhaps Leonardo. He's more of a fighter. Leonardo and Shaggy I think would be the best bodyguards. But if you would prefer Jasper then I'll let you have Jasper. I wouldn't want you to be hanging around with someone you don't want." said Malachite.

Malachite smiled at him.

"You will be fine. I'll make sure of that." said Malachite.

He paused as Olive suggested going back to the others.

"That's a good idea. And I can let them know you will soon be my son." said Malachite.

He stood up with a grin turning to Olive.

"I'll race you to the kitchen." said Malchite.

He chuckled taking off heading for the door sure Olive would probably beat him being younger. And he wasn't going to cheat with his magic so he would see who would win in a normal race.

"Yeah... Family. Never thought I'd say that either" Olive said with a big grin. He continued to chat happily, as he and Malachite talked a bit about his mother "Well that's good. I'm glad you let me see her again, sure I'd like her back too but I'm content with what you gave me. And I am glad to have you as my father. I think it'll make my life easier"

"I will. I'm sure I will anyway. They seem pretty ok with me here" Olive said, complying to his new father's admittedly simple command. He didn't see no reason not to obey this. He wanted to make friends anyway. It'd be better than brooding. "Oh yeah, Leo's a ninja. He'd kick all kinds of butt. And I like him too. I like all three of them. I'd have shaggy and leo but I wanna hang out with jasper too is all. All three of them actually"

Olive nodded, believing what his new father said, and just left it there. Eventually though he smiled as Malachite agreed that the others should know he was their son. Malachite's son. Had a nice ring to it. Well it did before but letting others know would make it better. Then all of a sudden, malachite ran off to the kitchen "Hey!" Olive teasingly replied before chasing the other down the stairs. They had a little race and went to find the others. Father and son they were now and they were happy with it.
