Malachite smiled at him.

"I'm glad to call you my son. I know it's not legal yet but it will be soon. But promise me you'll stay out of the fighting as much as possible. Perhaps I could teach you magic or how to fight. Or have my friend Leonardo teach you how to fight." said Malachite.

He smiled as Olive said he was glad he came here.

"I'm glad you came here too. In time I know we'll be even closer. And there's something else you should consider. There are a couple of kids here about your age. Gi and DH. His real name is Dark Heart but he started calling himself DH to avoid confusion with the other Dark Heart. I think Gi and DH would be good friends for you. And Gi is pretty beautiful. If I were a few years younger..."

He stopped seeing Olive's expression and chuckled.

"My point is there aren't many girls here your age. But I'll leave that up to you if you start dating anyone in the army." said Malachite.

Olive nodded and was proud to hear that Malachite saw goodness in himself being the heir to malachite. To be honest, having a leader as a father not only had personal perks but perks in the army too. If anyone dared disrespect him, they would be looked down upon while he would look like the best thing on earth. Olive then thought of the chances of respect only for Malachite to immediately talk about Gi and DH possibly being friends. And hinted a tad about hooking up with Gi. Which earned Malachite of both confusion and slight boyish disgust. Olive let out a displeased face at the mention of dating but responded "I guess so. Maybe. DH is cool though, I can hang out with him and hang out with Leo. Leo's cool too by the way, he looks like a fighter"

He then pondered about Gi "Where'd Gi come from though? She said something about it doing with one of the heroes. But I didn't get what she meant"

Malachite smiled as he could see Olive was pleased at being his son. He chuckled seeing his expression after he mentioned Gi.

"It's your choice my son. Although she's the only girl here at the moment close to your age. But if you just want to stay friends with her that's ok too." said Malachite.

He paused as he mentioned about Gi. He paused looking at him.

"You do know that Dr. Insano created a device right that brought most of the people here from other worlds. The only ones from this universe are the two of us Dark Heart, Dr. Insano, Teddy Rupxin, Dr. Yuki, Moarte, Seven Of Eleven from our army. Nostalgia Critic, Cinema Snob, Linkara, Spoony, Iheart, 90's Kid, Angry Joe, Nella, Nostalgia Chick, Elisa, Roses, Chester, Stone, Goggles, Marzgurl, Dr. Tease, Diamanda, and Tara from Nostalgia Critic's army. And finally Ask That Guy, Dark Nella, and Ratilda from Ask That Guy's army. The rest of our members are from other universes. So Gi came from another universe like most of the armies." said Malachite.

Olive was glad he didn't have to make a decision about ma-ti right then. It was a relief that Malachite wasn't like a king who forced arranged marriages. It was rather nasty. And filled with germs. Olive then paused as Malachite explained why she was here. She was from a different world unlike his and that was pretty awesome. Olive thought about it and smirked "That's pretty cool. So it's like the twlight zone or something. Gi did look like she came from a different place, just didn't know where. But why does she wanna be with us when she mentioned she had a friend at the heroes side? Just curious. We need allies and stuff but I can't help but think why"

Malachite smiled as he listened to him as Olive spoke

"I suppose. You see the poor girl was once on a team of heroes each having a magic ring. Four could command an element of nature. Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. The fifth was called heart and could give the user the ability to telepathically communicate with animals as well as his other 4 teammates. If they combined their rings together they could summon the superhero Captain Planet. But well Ma-Ti disappeared and was pulled to this world. Because of that it left his teammates weaker and they were captured. Gi was tortured, and brainwashed to be evil. She joined Ask That Guy's army and then sided with us before the army split. The poor girl has been through a lot. I know she blames Ma-Ti for abandoning them and for her fate." said Malachite.

He sighed patting him on the back.

"She needs a good friend and I think you could be that friend." said Malachite.

When describing what Gi was in the past and how she came to be here, Olive's face quickly showed shock and displeasure. Gi had a rough patch during this time and Olive instantly related to Gi. Maybe being friends with her would help the girl out, and make Olive feel like he was doing a good deed in a way. Why didn't Ma-Ti just come back to them? Was it really that hard to have put a effort to find his friends that he left behind? The young boy started to have that dagger of judgement and anger seep into his heart at the mere thought of Ma-Ti caring more about the members of his army than his own friends. Olive nodded as Malachite patted him on the back, yeah it wouldn't be hard to be a good friend to someone who was having rough times and suffered a lot of things.

"Wow. Ma-Ti's a bit of a douche. He couldn't of just come back to help her? That's not really fair to Gi. I could try being her friend, if she allowed me or wasn't angry with everybody that is" He commented

Malachite smirked listening to him.

"I agree. The brat always did love to use people and toss them away. I fought him last year. All I wanted was my property back but he and his little band of fools tried to stop me. Ma-Ti ended up dying and I got banished and imprisoned in a coffee shop. Facilier rescued me and restored my magic and even gave me a power boost as well. He even revived Ma-Ti and how does the fool pay him? By turning on him and trying to kill him." said Malachite.

He scoffed in annoyance. Of course, he was leaving out some details out but Olive would learn about that in time. Right now he just wanted him to trust him. He didn't want the kid to take Critic's side. He had grown fond of the kid and didn't want to lose him. He smiled when Olive said he would be a friend to Gi.

"I'm glad to hear that. The poor girl needs all the friends she can get." said Malachite.

Olive's anger began to solify into hate as soon as Malachite described that Ma-Ti stopped the sorcerer from getting his home back, ending up for Malachite to be forced to work into a coffee shop, then Ma-ti was revived by Facilier only to turn on the other sorcerer and trying to kill him. Olive couldn't believe it. Facilier wasn't always nice but Facilier, at least to olive, didn't deserve any type of cruel behavior, Olive actually liked Facilier and this seemed very unfair. Olive clutched his fists and pounded one into one of his others hands and growled out "I outta just go find the bastard and teach him a lesson. Abandoning friends, trying to kill people, forcing people out of their homes. If that's what Critic's group of scumbags do then screw them!" Olive was honestly angry. Olive believed in that in order to get ahead, you had to do the right thing and what Ma-Ti did was not the right thing.

Olive then softened when Malachite reminded him about Gi. That poor girl. What horrors she went through were over Olive's head a tad but he felt terrible for her. "I'm sure she does. That jerk wasn't a friend at all. Gi needs somebody who she can depend on!" He then puffed his chest out "That's me! I'm a pretty good friend I think"

Malachite smiled at him.

"That's what makes you a good friend and not Ma-Ti. And you're not even friends with her yet. That boy has been angry and selfish ever since he got here. You know what else he did. After he died to stop me he nearly destroyed the universe because he was mad his friends didn't treat him properly. They stopped him but he nearly wiped out the universe. And the fool still calls himself a hero." scoffed Malachite.

He paused turning to Olive and grinned.

"Of course you are. I think you'd be a great friend to her." said Malachite.

Olive's eyes widened with horror. The selfishness of Ma-Ti nearly killed the entire planet. The whole human race in danger, all because of one teen being angered by his friends not treating him properly. He could've killed everyone, EVERYONE in the universe, all because of selfish rage. Olive didn't even care that Malachite called Olive himself a good friend, the boy was incredibly concerned now that this teen was powerful enough to try that. It scared him. That Critic fellow was a idiot enough to trust someone like that?! How?! Why?! It made Olive shiver, and hold his arms together in worry. "Is he still powerful enough to try that? Can we just weaken him? What made that idiot Critic thinks someone like that is someone to depend on?! What the hell!?" Olive put his hands over his head in shock.

He then turned to Malachite when he commented about Gi and him being good friends and Olive smiled slightly, before gasping "Wait! If Ma-ti is powerful enough to kill us still, Gi, you, me, facilier, we're all in big trouble! What can we do?!"

(OCC: Feel free to lie about Ma-Ti needing to be killed by only Malachite. It'll get Olive to depend on him a bit more XD)

Malachite smirked. Malachite was telling the complete truth this time. Ma-Ti had been the villain for once and nearly destroyed this entire universe. He wondered if the fool even remembered waht he ahd done. Malachite paused hearing the fearful tone as she shook his head.

"No don't worry boy. You see he had died and merged with something in the universe. It was a magical hole in space. It was called the plot hole. It had caused a lot of inconsistencies in this world and its timeline. Ma-Ti tricked the Critic into nearly destroying this entire universe. But Ma-Ti's ghost eventually passed on. And Critic took the place of the host. Now they're both back from the dead and the plot hole is now secure. It won't destroy this world anymore. But Ma-Ti has not paid for his crime. Abandoning Gi and her other friends were nothing compared to what he almost did. I only wish I'd finished the job that day when we fought. If I'd known his spirit would survive to try to destroy the universe I'd have found a way to stop him." said Malachite.

He paused as he hugged Olive.

"Don't worry. You're safe. I won't let Ma-Ti or anyone hurt you. They'll have to go through me first." said Malachite.

Olive was frightened even when assured Ma-Ti was no longer powerful this way, even if he hadn't answered to his crimes. It still left him able to try to be a horrible maniac again. It was too much for the boy to assume was ok. That is until Malachite hugged him, assuring him that he was safe and that Malachite swore to never let anyone hurt him. Olive hugged tightly, thinking of all the chances of being, well, hurt by Ma-Ti. The boy was only 13, it was easy to still feel vunerable. Olive muffled in his jacket "He's still out there though. What if he still manipulates Gi when they meet? Saying that it was ok for him to leave? What if he uses that ring to kill you again?" He was scared now. No longer angry

Malachite paused as he looked so upset as he wrapped his arms around him tighter.

"I won't let him hurt anyone. Especially you. I'll kill him before I let that happen." said Malachite.

"Even if I have to take myself out with him." thought Malachite.

He paused and shook his head.

"He took me by surprise with that ring. Now that I know about it I can stop him. Facilier had him under his control once which means he's not invincible. Without that ring he's nothing. And Gi knows more than enough about to help me. Facilier should have left the brat dead and I'll make sure he stays dead." said Malachite.

Olive felt a bit easier when Malachite hugged him tighter. It made him feel safer. He then looked up as Malachite promised that he wouldn't let him hurt anyone, particularly Olive himself and the boy was pretty relieved now. Malachite was strong so there was really no problem at this point. The boy let out a weak smile and then nodded as the man commented Facilier should've left him dead. He probably should've but Malachite was going to handle it so it didn't matter. Olive sighed "Alright. I'll not worry about it" He shrugged "Ma-Ti's just chaotic. He could kill Gi and..." He hated to admit it but Gi was pretty goodlooking from what he's seen of her and he didn't want anything to hurt her.

Malachite shook his head.

"The boy still cares for Gi I think. He doesn't know what she's really been through. All he knows is she's on our side. He probably thinks she's under a spell or something." said Malachite.

He scoffed annoyed at the thought. Gi had joined Ask That Guy's army willingly and had joined their mutiny willingly. When that had failed she had come with them to this army. What happened to her in her world was Ma-Ti's fault because he wasn't there to help protect her and her other friends.

"I won't let Ma-Ti hurt you or Gi or anyone else in this army. Ma-Ti, Critic, and the rest of that army will be the ones who suffer. That I promise you." said Malachite.

Gi was a loyal soldier and perhaps one day Olive's girlfriend or at least a friend. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt anyone in his army. Not while he was around to stop it.
