Feeling Helpless

(January 7th. Starts around the middle of Let The Battle Begin. Open to everyone.)

Nani teleports in with the unconscious Lilo placing her on the sofa. She remembered she'd taken a lot of the supplies they had to Splinter to help Rachel. She was tempted to go and bring them both back here. But she didn't want to leave her sister alone. She collapsed into a nearby chair and started to cry. She hadn't been shaken this bad since Cobra Bubbles and later Gantu had nearly taken Lilo away from her on the same day.

"I'm the big sister. I'm supposed to keep you safe. I can't lose you too." said Nani.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Critic entered with a cast on his arm and a black eye as well as bandages covering his chest. He heard Nani and limped as fast as his pained body would allow. He didn't know what to do. As the leader though he would definitely express concern. With a solumn almost a man beyond his years look of sympathy he replied quietly "I'm sorry. If only I wasn't so foolish I would've helped prevent this" He looked outside wondering about Chick and the others, Critic looked away in horror. He only stayed due to only getting up for a glass of water because of his lack of healing. Now, he was failing to arrive. He looked to Nani again and replied "Stay here. I'll get your sis some stuff" With that he quickly limped away to the bathroom

(OCC: Splinter's gonna come here only for a page or so eventually, so his arrival will be explained at the battlefield. He'll fight a bit then arrive to help Lilo, keep rachel inside the house then go back to fight. Sound good or do you want him to stay in one thread?)

(ooc: Either way's fine by me. I figured Nani would want him to stay to help keep an eye on Lilo. But if you're still planning on Splinter getting caught then he could go back.)

Nani glanced up at Critic smiling weakly at him. When she heard him try to blame himself she shook her head.

"You were attacked out of the blue. That could have been any of us last night. It's my fault. I should have stuck closer to her. She could have died out there. If I hadn't gotten to her in time..."

She trailed off wiping away her tears. Critic soon left to get supplies. She smiled weakly calling out to him.

"Wait. Let me help you. You're still hurt." said Nani.

(OCC: I kinda was toying with the idea that maybe just morpheus and a kid from the heroes could get captured. Splinter can deal with more angst if seperated from Raphy )

Critic saw Nani beside him in the bathroom and replied admittedly grateful "Sure. Damn this cast, it would be easier if this was my left arm but it's the arm I usually support myself with" He allowed Nani to reach some supplies and his free arm got a nice bottle of first aid lotion. He looked and recalled Splinter using it on him when he... Handled a situation. Looking to the beaten up little girl, it angered him even more. He felt ashamed that Lilo specifically was targeted. Unless they were trying to get to someone else by hurting her?

joined him as she helped get supplies as they headed back to the living room. Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

"Who could that be? I thought everyone else was at the battle." said Nani.

Puzzled she decided to go to the door leaving Critic with Lilo in the living room. She opened the door seeing a man dressed in a hat, and a tan coat standing on the doorstep.

"Critic! I.... you're not critic. Those drugs must be stronger than I thought." said Chester.

Nani stared speechless before walking into the living room.

"Critic I think one of your friends is here." said Nani.

Chester had followed her missing Lilo on the couch for now only seeing Critic injured.

"Nostaligiama Critic! What happened to you?" said Chester.

He paused glancing at Critic and Nani before grinning.

"Am I interrupting something?" asked Chester.

Critic was admittedly shocked the usually high homeless person would have the balls to actually come to his fiasco. However he needed help and if this was what he got then so help him he would accept it. Nevertheless he gave a small sigh before responding "A long story Chester. Had a fight but it's not bad as it was before" Looking to Nani he shook his head "No chester this is one of our new friends Nani.... Wait a minute. Hate to bother but what are you doing here?"

[Chester A Bum]

"You were in a fight? Did you make Cinema Snob and those other guys mad at you again?" asked Chester.

"Again?" asked Nani confused.

"Well you see it all started in Molassia when Critic gathered all the reviewers together and...."

He stopped seeing Critic's glare and realized it wouldn't be smart to make one of his bosses angry.

"...and we all had a great time. It was a fun vacation. There was a little disagreement but they all worked things out. That's old news now." said Chester.

"I see." said Nani.

Chester paused as he listened to Critic' question.

"Well I need a place to stay for awhile. I kind of got thrown out of my last home." said Chester.

"Where was your last home?" asked Nani.

"A theater." said Chester.

Nani looked at him confused again. She decided it wasn't really her business.

"I think I'll go check on my sister." said Nani.

She turned and walked away to the sofa to check on Lilo.

Chester leaned over to Critic.

"Is her sister as hot as her?" asked Chester.

"He's talking about some side project I did. Nothing more than that" Critic assured to Nani as Chester asked questions. When Chester asked questions about Lilo he replied impatiently "Chester let me ask you a question? Do you find interest in seven year olds? If so. Then I need to take you to a doctor. For real"

Suddenly a loud pounding came into the door. Critic limped over to open it then he replied annoyingly "Oh sweet mother of god" He gave a sigh then replied "Hello. 90's kid"

"DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! Like where's Linkara? Is he hurt? He said he was gonna hang out at your house but it's been like a week man! He promised it was a couple of days!" 90's kid was smiling as if this was a prank Linkara was making and he caught him in the middle of it. He had no idea what was going on

"Chester! Dude! Like, what's been going on?" 90's kid said when he caught sight of Chester. A. Bum. He recalled him at a con one time, 90's kid had a liking toward the bum. Looking to nani and Lilo he first took a more profound notice to Nani and replied with a devilish grin "Well hello! Babe, you're like really hot! Any chance you single?" Suddenly the small girl being in a coma with tons of cuts made 90's kid snap out of it and reply nervously "Whoa... What happened to the mini babe? Is she... ok?"

"Oh she's a kid. Well I..."

He was interrupted as 90's Kid arrived. He did remember the time they had fun at that con. But it felt like a long time ago. Or maybe it was yesterday. It was hard to tell them apart sometimes. He shrugged before smiling at his old friend.

"Not much. Apparently someone's going around hurting people. First Critic now the little girl. You think there was a war going on or something." said Chester.

Chester frowned seeing 90's Kid hit on Nani. He'd been beaten to the punch. Well at least he'd find out if she was single or not.

Nani turned seeing 90's Kid who reminded her of Linkara and Linksano. Were the three brothers or something? When 90's Kid asked her out she turned annoyed at him.

"Yes I am. But not in the mood for questions right now." said nani.

She heard Chester's question, as she turned to him.

"Well actually there is a war. Some guy hurt Critic. I think he was named Malachite." said Nani.

Chester turned to Critic having not actually met Malachite in the third year anniversary.

"You were beaten up by a villain from Sailor Moon?" asked Chester.

[90's Kid]

"No not THAT malachite! Suburban Knights Malachite!" Critic replied raising his cast arm which not only cause him to double over in pain of the arm but a small part of his chest muscles pulled a bit. He hissed and replied "90's Kid. Chester. There is a war againest these bad guys ok? They hurt Lilo because they are trying to get to me... and the world" Critic looked over to Nani with a apoligetic look of both 90's kid pissing her off and the fact her baby sister was hurt

90's Kid breathed now completely serious for once "Whoa... That's totally not cool. War's like really bad so shouldn't we just chill?" Then he remembered "OH! Linkara said there was a war going on with animated stuff! This is it! Whoa" He then turned to Chester and said to him "You just got here too right? I wasn't late for the party right?"

Critic just sighed and facepalmed himself. Good god, The bum and 90's kid were gonna take some time to get used to

[Chester A Bum]

"Wait. He's back? This isn't good. And he's now got an army backing him up. Wait. Why don't you have the army backing you up? Seriously it's like (imitating Malachite): I have an army. (imitating Critic): Well I have a tank. Boom! The end." said Chester.

Chester nodded to 90's Kid question. It was odd for a secret war to be going on. Maybe this time he'd get to fight and not chicken out like in Kickassia.

(ooc: Waiting for Splinter & Rachel to get here before I add Roses & Pinocchio.)

[90's Kid]

Splinter suddenly appeared into thin air with Rachel beside him. He struggled for some time before eventually getting Rachel to a comfy couch chair. He then replied to Nani and Critic "I am sorry for lack of explaination but as soon as I get supplies for Rachel I'll help heal Lilo" Quickly getting a few bandages and a splint he went over fixing Rachel

Critic replied annoyed "We can't have the army involved. They won't help us, they'll think we're mentally insane and prevent us from getting to our goal" Turning to Splinter he nodded understandingly. Then he replied to himself "Great first Lilo then rachel, what's next Roses coming with another kid or adult?!"

"WHOA! A talking rat!" 90's kid followed Splinter to Rachel and stared straight into his eyes. Completely shocked at the fact a mutant animal was in his presence. He just let his mouth drop like a codfish "My mind is blown.... Do you have super powers?"

Splinter was confused so he replied a bit annoyed with the question "No. I do not. Where do you get these ideas?"

"From comic books. Me and Linkara read them all the time. They are so awesome! Comic books are like totally radical!" 90's kid shouted and pumped his fists in the air making surfer signs with his fingers

[Chester A Bum]

"Whoa. A talking rat." said Chester.

He pinches himself.

"Ow! Well this isn't a dream. I got to remember to get more of this stuff if I've seeming giant rats." said Chester.

He paused seeing the two injured girls.

"Are you sure they shouldn't be in the hospital or something?" asked Chester.

Nani turned to him frowning.

"And tell them what? We got into a fight with mad scientists, sorcerers, and psychos who want to take over the world?" asked Nani.

Roses suddenly appeared holding Pinocchio in her arms. She set him down on the sofa next to Lilo.

"He's passed out. I don't think he's bleeding or anything." said Roses.

She paused as she turned glancing around the room seeing 90's Kid and Chester had joined them. She smiled before speaking up.

"How long has Pinocchio been here anyway?" asked Roses.

Nani frowned at seeing Pinocchio hurt too. How could someone hurt two innocent children? But she didn't recognize him. She didn't know everyone's name here yet but she hadn't seen him around yet.

"I haven't seen him before." said Nani.

"And I just got here. Nice to meet you Pushing Up Daisies." said Chester.

"It's Roses." said Roses.

"Whatever. Glad to meet you." said Chester.

Roses sighed glancing at Critic annoyed.

"Why did you invite him?" asked Roses.

[90's Kid]

"I didn't. He burst in. He probably wanted..." He leaned over so Chester wouldn't hear "Change" He then went to Pinnochio and replied again feeling sorry for the boy but still curious "He never came for our ranks. We'll keep him in and heal him up but I think we should watch him for a while. He was in the battle so he may be working for the enemy"

90's kid frowned, offended that Critic imediately distrusted the boy "DUDE! Harsh! Why are you picking on the minidude" Without anyone's consent he move Lilo carefully so Pinnochio could have some space. He then looked to Roses and smiled "Hey! You are pushing up roses? I'm a big fan!"

Splinter said nothing. Only facepalmed at the incredable stupidity

[Chester A Bum]

"That's great. Glad to meet you. We got to get back out there. Linkara and the others are going to need our help. We can't let anyone else get hurt." said Roses.

She pauses going to the closet and pulling out two communicators and star trek badges giving them to 90's Kid and Chester.

"This is awesome! Let's go." said Chester.

He pressed the button teleporting away in flash of white light.

"See you guys over there." said Roses.

She types a button on her communicator and vanishes in a flash of white light.

Nani sits down in a chair. She had decided to stay and look after her sister and Pinocchio. She wasn't going to leave her sister behind with a potential enemy.
