Patch had his eyes widen. No. It couldn't be. Maleficent although supposedly powerful wouldn't be so cruel. The pup refused to believe it and pinnochio's departure did not help matters. Looking to maleficent he could only look at her and give the silent question:

Spoony puffed out his chest a bit, willing to help Roses be more comfortable and not have grimhilde make her nervous and uncomfortable. Quickly he went over to Roses and Grimhilde and replied "Mind if I join you two?" Spoony did not let on that he did not trust the queen, his poker face was on and he looked innocently willing to give a helping hand

IHeart was admittedly annoyed with how the queen and maleficent treated the poor boy like he was some sort of criminal. Sure, she was going incredably easy because he was young but honestly other than that Pinnochio seemed actually very afraid and alone. It made IHeart feel sorry for him

Even after all the disagreements her choice had caused, Maleficent firmly believed that she was correct in her course of action. Enemies were enemies. You did not – could not – show them any kind of mercy because it was a sign of your weakness – a weakness that could then be used against you. Therefore, all enemies had to be destroyed. Looking at Patch, she calmly readied herself to give her tired speech yet again. The puppy's eyes were wide and mournful, and looking at them made Maleficent feel strange. Inexplicably, she began thinking of a woman the Dalmatian had told her about once – Cruella De Vil, wasn’t that her name?

“He attacked me. I had no choice, and I won’t apologize for defending myself from an enemy.”

Maybe Patch would actually listen to her.

She watched as Pinocchio was led away and couldn't help but scoff.

"Look. While I don't condone the attack on any child at all and in all honesty I am a little angry, I do have to admit that the boy wasn't like that to begin with. He was at least a teenager when I saw him battle Maleficent at the beginning. And besides, he knew what he was getting himself to. He clearly has a sort of connection with Ask That Guy. I saw some of the reactions after we captured him, he's probably been good friends with some of them. There's no point now in what has happened. Spilt Milk and all that. We need to think about what's happening now and in the future." Linkara, having just come back down the stairs from listening in on Snob and Linksano's convensation, couldn't help put pitch in. He was cross with Maleficent but at the same time, he couldn't help but point out that Pinnichio had been an enemy solider. He was going to get hated on.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Roses smiled glad to have him along.

"Sure. I guess one of the upstairs rooms would be best." said Roses.

Pinocchio glanced at Roses and Spoony. They didn't seem that bad unlike Maleficent or the queen traveling up the stairs with them.

"Wait. They're the enemy. Just like Honest John, Stromboli, or the Coachman. They're only nice until they want something from you. Or try to lock you in a cage." said Pinocchio.

Queen Grimhilde turned seeing Spoony and sighed.

"I don't care if we all go. But we need to put him somewhere he can't harm us or spy against us. He is still the enemy after all." said Queen Grimhilde.

As they headed up the stairs the group soon came to a room.

"Pinocchio you'll stay up here for right now. Try to get some sleep. We'll talk to you tomorrow." said Roses.

She smiled at him glancing back at Queen Grimhilde and Spoony.

Pinocchio nodded playing along. Dr. Facilier had talked him into coming here and he knew he could help his new family and army by being a good little boy. Hopefully he could learn something useful here and take it back to the army.

Queen Grimhilde turned examining the door realizing it had no key in it.

"He gets a bed, and an unlocked room. He's a prisoner, not a guest. He should be locked in a cage perhaps in the basement where he can't harm us." said Queen Grimhilde.

Roses sighed turning to Spoony hoping to calm her down and not alarm the others downstairs.

"He's only a child. We can get more out of him if we show him kindness. We can post a guard or two here if it'll make you feel better." said Roses.
