For the briefest of moments, Maleficent had to pause and wrack her brain to put a face to the name. She found it after just a few seconds of silent contemplation – a mad-looking scientist who had apparently once been on the side of evil. The fairy nodded, her gold eyes growing thoughtful. To know when and where others were crossing over would be a good advantage. Such a thing would give them a slight advantage over Ask ThatGuy, as well as the chance to add to their numbers. And besides that, it would give her the chance to find Diablo before the enemy did.
“Your idea is not without merit.” She rose and beckoned for Jasmine to follow her. “Come, we’ll find out if he can do as you’ve said.”
It was likely Linksano wouldn’t appreciate being disturbed so early in the morning, but Maleficent hardly cared about trivial things like that.
