Another blast came from Dr. Facilier’s cane, then another and another. Maleficent dodged them, and as she prepared to roast the witch doctor alive, she realized that he had put up some kind of shield.

“Are you too frightened to face me unprotected?” she sneered, gold eyes darting to Mechakara. The robot was lying in a bed, apparently unable to fight any longer, and Maleficent felt a fierce rush of satisfaction.

She next looked to Linkara and tapped her wrist, indicating that they should teleport out. The hostages had been rescued and Mechakara was incapacitated. Their goal (or at least, Maleficent’s goal) had been accomplished, therefore there was no point in staying here any longer. They had triumphed.

Dr. Facilier sneered "You only say that so you can kill me. It may seem cowardly but at least I have a brain when fighting" Dr. Facilier knew the games the mistress wanted to play and wasn't really interested. BLS came by and replied "He may be protected but I am not. Either way, I can destroy you just as badly as he can"

"Go ahead. Destroy me. Show how much of a hero you are by killing the enemy. I dare you. Champion" DarkHeart replied, sneering angerily at Linkara. She was not afraid anymore, she was rather just plain hurt that Mechakara was hurt in such a way, so she was giving up a specific chance of making Linkara look like the bad guy

(OCC: The talk is to make Linkara, well, change his mind and escape. As we know, Linkara has a moral code)

[Mechakara]

Mechakara kept booting up and all he could do was watch. He hoped the reinforcements would convince Linkara and Maleficent to retreat. Phantom Virus showed up next walking over and giving Mechakara a jolt to help boot up his system. Mechakara smiled grateful to the virus.

"Thanks. I'd leave if I were you. As I said before you can't fight off all of us by yourselves. Sooner or later we'll get you." said Mechakara.

"Aw, you want to leave the party already? At least let me give you some parting gifts." said Phantom Virus.

He sends a blast of electricity at Linkara and Maleficent.

Michelangelo, Rita, Dr. Smith, Ruber, Fat Cat, and Gi rushed into the room ready to help fight.

"But we want you to be our guests. Please stay. I'm sure we can find a room for you somewhere." said Rita, raising her wand ready to blast them.

Michelangelo held his weapons up. Dr. Smith aimed his laser at Linkara. Ruber held his sword ready to fight and Gi held her sword and got her ring ready to flood the area if necessary if they didn't leave.

[Linkara]

Linkara grinned as he moved backwards towards Maleficent. Raising his hand, he gave two fingers up towards the entire group of villains. "Screw you guys, I'ma going home. Live long..." he pressed the teleporter button as he finished with his grin "And suck it!"

(OCC, And Linkara is out.)

DarkHeart suddenly felt a wash of relief. Now she would be finished. She turned to Mechakara and smiled glad that he was brought back by the virus. Suddenly her systems said a small robotic voice Warning: Systems severely damaged. Shut down in one second Suddenly she felt herself weaken to the point of not being able to stand anymore. Suddenly, the darkness came closer and with a slight groaning sound, she fell to the ground. Weakly

Dr. Facilier smirked as Linkara and Maleficent planned to escape. As Linkara left, he crossed his arms patiently waiting for Maleficent to be next to leave. BLS turned to DarkHeart and bent down unsure what to do, Insano went over to check if she was alright, the other villains just stared and kept an eye on Maleficent

“Are you certain of that?” Maleficent inquired coolly. “Considering that Linkara and I have been able to keep you at bay for this long, I’d say you’re quite outmatched.”

DarkHeart’s words reached her ears, and she kept a single gold eye on Linkara, ready to stop him from snapping. It soon proved unnecessary – Linkara didn’t give in to the robot’s taunts. A faint sigh of relief escaped Maleficent’s dark lips – now she would have one less headache in the future.

Then he just had to go and spoil the moment by telling the enemy soldiers to “suck it”, whatever that meant (something vulgar, no doubt). The dark fairy rolled her eyes and within seconds had transformed into a will-o’-the-wisp, dodging the blasts sent by the Phantom Virus. From there, she wasted no time in exiting Ask ThatGuy’s lair.

She had a Dalmatian to check on.

[Mechakara]

Mechakara rushed over to Dark Heart now that the last of the heroes were gone. He grabbed her and put her on a table. He did a quick scan seeing her systems had just shut down like his. He sighed in relief that she would be okay. Aside from the repairing they would both have to do. He pulled up a chair next to her and began making repairs on her and himself the best he could.

Dark Nella let out a sigh she hadn't been aware she'd been holding.

"That was a disaster. We lost three captives. We need to do something to fix this." said Dark Nella.

(ooc: I guess we can end this thread in a couple posts. Since recovering takes place a bit after this.)

Insano panicked. He went over to see Rodney's form and growled. He quickly picked up the robot and commenced fixing him. Terl was passed out still, thrax went out for a moment to check on things. Ronno sat down, depressed at the failure. Dr. Facilier shook his head unamused, but turned to rita with a almost unnoticable smirk. BLS turned around looking for goggles. Finally DarkHeart, was shut down at the very moment. All villains knew they failed and were not happy... At all

Mechakara frowned as kept repairing Dark Heart so she'd boot back up. Linkara, Maleficent, and the rest of them would pay for hurting them both, stealing back their captives, and everything else they did today.

"You will not defeat us Linkara. Even it if it takes me months I will rebuild myself and Dark Heart. You have not seen the last of us. And next time I shall be the victor." said Mechakara.

Dark Nella heard Mechakara's statement and nodded. All they had to do now was relax. The army had returned. They had to worry about fixing the damages to the wounded and the house before they could plan another attack. But Mechakara was right. They would not let this stand. They would have their revenge.
