To The Rescue

[Linkara]

Linkara nodded. This was his place, to fight Mechakara one on one "Right. And Maleficent? If it comes down to it, leave me here and find Patch. I'll be able to bide some time for you to get out." He simply pulled out his magic gun and stroked his sword, in case the gun failed.

Harvey ran at Duke Nukem, pulling out his tommy gun and sending the bullets flying at his face. Ace meanwhile, pulled out three cans of Nitro Nine and threw them at Dukes face. Grabbing Chester and Harvey, she pulled them to the floor as she heard the explosion.

Paw nodded slightly at Eliza's words. As Dark Nella caught her, and 90's Kid told him to cover his back, he ran ahead and lept forward, hoping to knock over Nella. Mid air he flung , in a feeble attempt to knock her his sword at her.

[Mechakara]

Nani smiled grabbing his hand through the bar.

"I'm just glad you're alright. They sent us a tape showing us what happened to you. But I've got good news. Chick and Patch are alive. Some of the others are trying to rescue them too." said Nani.

"The only place you're going is that cell." said a voice.

The sword trembled in Nani's hand as she turned to see Scar growling at her. She tried to hide her fear.

"He's coming with us. If anyone's going in that cage it's you!" said Nani.

Scar chuckled.

"Now surrender and you won't get hurt." said Scar.

Nani turned back to Morpheus.

"If I don't make it I just wanted to let you know I love you." said Nani.

She then kissed Morpheus on the lips. She pulled back and smiled. She then charging towards Scar sword raised. Scar charged at her as well.

Chester felt himself yanked away by Ace as Harvey fired at Duke Nukem and Ace through a few cans of Nitro Nine at him. As the mini explosion went off Chester coughed as smoke filled the hallway and it had left major holes in the walls. Duke Nukem was alive just weak and lying on the floor.

"You pack quite a punch in those bombs. I was made from nuclear radiation. That can't destroy me. But it might destroy your friends." said Duke Nukem.

He chuckled as he glanced at the room behind him.

Just a few feet away the explosion went off shaking the place as the door to the cell broke off and fell to the ground. Then the roof caved in buring anyone in the room under rubble.

"Nani! Morpheus!" said Chester.

He took off running towards the room as he began digging through chunks of the roof to find Nani and Morpheus.

Dark Nella glanced back at Chick.

"Critic didn't even come to save you. Looks like he doesn't care about you after all." said Dark Nella.

When Paw and 90's Kid both charged at her she chuckled. She caught the bullets in her hand chuckling as she crushed them into powder. When Paw swung his sword at her she was ready to stop him when an explosion suddenly rocked the house as Paw's attack went through slashing her left arm. She grabbed it in pain before glaring at Paw.

"You just made a big mistake." said Dark Nella.

She then swung a punch at Paw while sending another blast of electricity at 90's Kid.

Elisa reached for her sword and began cutting the net watching the battle hoping they would be alright. She finally cut through the net. She used the explosion as a distraction to lunge at Nella with the net and jumped on her back shoving the net onto Nella as they both landed on the ground.

"Nella. Snap out of it. We're your friends." said Elisa.

She turned to Paw and 90's Kid.

"One of you free Nostalgia Chick fast. I don't know how long I can hold her." said Elisa.

Mechakara smirked as he walked over to the basement hearing voices. He walked through the door spying Maleficent and Linkara.

"Well if it isn't Linkara and Maleficent. Maleficent it's a shame you chose the wrong side. We could have been good friends." said Mechakara.

He smiled and sent a blast of energy at Maleficent and Linkara.

[Patch]

Morpheus tried to be protective but he was in a poor position. He cried out when Scar was behind her and then all of a sudden things turned completely blank for him as he closed his eyes in complete satisfaction as Nani kissed him. He finally realized why he wanted to spend so much time with her and cared so much about Lilo, because he loved lilo like a sister and loved Nani as his companion. Morpheus murmured "I love you too" He then reached his hand out as Nani charged at Scar. Morpheus demanded "You leave her alone!" He then saw his cell-door be released but before he could help he was completely totalled by the rubble. He didn't relent though and quickly pushed the rubble off. He saw Chester and smiled "Never would I think to be glad to see more people" He then remembered Nani and ran around trying to find her "Nani! Nani! Shout for me! Please!"

"Nani! Hang on!" Snob replied but then the rubble collapsed the house covering him with rubble. He tried to get out but couldn't. So he resorted to calling for help as much as he could "Ace! Harvey! Chester! Guys! Can you hear me?! Help!"

Patch meanwhile heard a loud rumble and collasped in the space he had causing the boxes that were hiding him to collapse as well. He didn't speak but backed away trying to find safety. He would think mechakara would not believe he did it on purpose but patch wanted to be away from it just in case

90's kid nodded and dodged the electric attack. He called to Paw and Elisa "You two handle stuff! I'mma go help Chick!" He then ran to the lab and called out "Chick! Where are you babe?! Chick! Critic sent us to get ya!"

[Nani Pelaki]

A cough was heard as Scar stumbled out of the rubble.

"Well you saved him but it cost you." said Scar.

He chuckled believing Nani was dead as he left limping with his right leg hurting. He was no longer in a fighting mood.

Duke Nukem laughed before rubble toppled onto him silencing him.

Chester smiled glad Morpheus was alive. He heard coughing and frowned seeing it was Scar.

"No. She has to be okay." said Chester.

He kept digging through the rubble hearing Snob's voice first. He soon began digging in his direction getting Snob out.

"Snob you alright?" asked Chester.

Nani meanwhile lay beneath the rubble unconscious. The rubble had hit her head knocking her out and know she laid trapped underneath rubble.

Chick stomped her feet and clapped trying to draw 90's kid attention to her electronic cage. She heard the fight outside knowing it wouldn't be long before Dark Nella was free again.

Dark Nella frowned as she struggled against Elisa.

"You think a net can hold me?" said Dark Nella, shoving Elisa and the net off.

She turned grabbing Elisa holding her by the throat.

"I am tired of paying the bill when you order takeout or out at the bar. You know how much Nostalgia drinks. I can't afford that but you always took advantage of me. Well no more." said Dark Nella.

"Paw, 90's Kid. Help." gasped Elisa.

Maleficent only just had time to nod to Linkara before his robotic double entered the basement. The dark fairy’s eyes narrowed at the sight of Mechakara. The image of a bloody dog collar floated into her conscious mind.

“‘The wrong side’?” She chuckled sarcastically, as though amused, before snapping back to anger. “Hardly! Unlike you, I refuse to be the slave of anyone!”

Especially not a pervert like Ask ThatGuy.

She said nothing about Patch. It might give away who they were looking for. Instead her grip on her staff tightened, and when Mechakara made his move, she dodged and retaliated with a lightning bolt.

A sideways glance was spared to Linkara. If he really could distract the robot, she could shape-shift and go to find Patch. Once he was safe, she would return and make the robot wish he was never created.

Paw pushed 90's Kid in the direction of Nostalgia Chick's cell, then turned behind him and charged once more at Nella. He grabbed a kitchen knife and attempted to attack her face with it. He grabbed Eliza and pulled her backwards.

Harvey was blown off his feet. He struggled up and managed not to get buried by the rumble, he grabbed Ace and helped her out of the rubble. He attended Chester and helped him dig out Snob, while Ace ran after Morpheous and called out "Nani! Nani!"

Linkara dodged the blast sent by Mechakara and walked up with a smile "You know, Pollo I've been working on two little somethings, I think it's time to unviel them." Pulling out two sonic screwdrivers, he held them up and pressed a button. If it worked, it should lower the shields of Mechakara enough for me to attack, he thought. He then grinned "And now the second. IT'S MORPHING TIME!!!"

Pulling out his gauntlets, they flashed with gold, he yelled out "GOLD RANGER POWER!!!"

Now dressed in the armour of the golden ranger, Linkara grabbed his staff and lept forward at Mechakara.

[Patch]

"I am now thanks to you two" Snob replied to Chester and harvey, quickly getting out of the rubble. He then smiled "Good thing we got the cage open...." He then widened his eyes in horror realizing one important person "Oh shit! Nani!" He then replied to Harvey and chester "Search everywhere!" He then started to dig out rubble in hopes of finding her

Morpheus looked to Ace and replied worriedly "So far nothing! She's stuck and probably not awake. We have to find her!" He then pulled rubble and saw a tan arm. He gasped "Oh god. Nani!" He pulled the rubble seeing her completely now and it turned out she indeed was completely unconcious. He used his arms to quickly but gently pull her out and ended up carrying her. He replied to his rescue team with a sad smile "Let's go home"

90's kid then was eventually into Chick's prison. He then searched but it was so dark he couldn't see. He turned on the light and replied loudly "Chick! You here right? Chick baby! Make noise or speak if you can hear me! Come on babe!"

Patch meanwhile didn't see but heard everything. He heard mechakara mock his rescue team, to which at the moment he didn't know who it was, then all of a sudden he smiled happily. It was maleficent's voice so it was very clear maleficent indeed was alright and came to save him. Linkara's voice rang and it gave patch extra satisfaction for there were more than just one person coming to find him. The heroes really did care for him. They were here now. Then again mechakara was his master and a powerful one, so it was 50-50 now

Harvey nodded at Morpeheus and Snob "You are both welcome. Now let's get out of here before big Nukem wakes up. Oh and Ace-" he winked, "Leave him a little, suprise shall we say. Right, let's get going." And with that, Harvey turned to Morpheous "I'll help you carry her if you want."

Ace nodded, then pulled out a modified version of her Nitro Nine, it would go off in two minutes. "We better get going, there's a timer on that thing.

(OCC, Nukem, I'm not trying to kill you, I just had this idea that Ace and Harvey would want him unconsious so he doesn't try to stop them leaving.)

[Elisa/Maven Of The Eventide]

Chester gasped seeing Morpheus found her but she was unconscious.

"Look. You guys take her back. She needs to be checked out and so does Morpheus. But we can't leave without the others. We haven't heard from then in awhile and Patch and Chick are still prisoners. I'm going to help find Chick." said Chester.

He smiled and took off down the stairs searching for Nostalgia Chick also trying to outrun the bomb.

Nani still was unconscious being carried out by Morpheus.

Duke Nukem struggled under the rubble as he heard someone mention another bomb going off in two minutes.

"Oh no. Not again. It'll take me forever to get out of this." said Duke Nukem.

He tried as he began blasting the rubble trying to get out before the bomb went off.

(ooc: Fine by me. He's not going to make it out in time. It'll just knock him out. Not sure what could kill him since he's a radioactive creature with a very hard skin. xd)

Chick saw 90's Kid as he turned on the lights. She smiled stomping on the floor and clapping trying to get his attention. She was nearly home free. If only she had her voice this would be so much easier.

Elisa gasped for air as Paw pulled her away from Dark Nella in time.

"Thanks Paw. She's stronger than I remembered. We need more help." said Elisa.

Chester came running in throwing a table onto Dark Nella.

Dark Nella turned around glaring at the man.

"You again? I'm going to finish what I started last time." said Dark Nella.

She sent a blast of electricity at Chester.

Chester dodged it narrowly tossing random objects at Dark Nella in an attempt to distract her.

Meckara was hit by her lightning bolt as he staggered back but his shield compensating for that. Her words as being a slave angered him. He was a slave to Insano not by choice but he couldn't really blame the doctor after their troubled past between them. He'd have probably have done the same thing. He still didn't like it. He focused back on the fight.

"You'll have to do better than that." said Mechakara.

Then his shields shut down as he saw Linkara holding sonic screwdrivers.

"You continue to annoy me. It's time I finished you once and for all. And the name is Mechakara. I stopped being Pollo when I killed you in my universe." said Mechakara.

Then Linkara morphed into the gold zeo ranger as he just shook his head.

"Still playing the hero? Well even without my shield I can still destroy you." said Mechakara.

He turned and sent another blast towards Maleficent before Linkara lunged at him. Mechakara sent another blast at him hoping to send him flying.

[Linkara]

Linkara smirked inside the helmet as he deflected the blast with his armour. He then extended his staff and attempted to bludgen Mechakara over the head, hopefully injuring him long enough for Maleficent to get Patch out.

Ace examined the timer. "We've got to get going, we've got 70 seconds until this part of the house blows up." Harvey cursed as he saw Chester run, then nodded to Snob "You guys get out, I'll take care of Chester." While Ace brought down two more pieces of rubble onto Nukem, he ran after Chester.

Paw nodded at Eliza and then threw anything he could find at Nella, copying what Chester was doing. Harvey too joined in.

[Patch]

(OCC: I assume Nani has a teleporter sticking out or some of the ragtag team members or even Critic has a teleporter. If anyone has a teleporter Morpheus can leave quicker but if you want him to stay a tiny bit more let me know)

Morpheus shook his head "Thank you harvey but I'll take care of her" He then see him run to help Chester and he took Nani out of the prison and eventually got to the basement. He then awaited for Ace and Snob for they had a way out and a way to go home.

Snob blasted some parts of the wall to keep Duke Nukem busy. He then escaped to meet Morpheus and the unconcious Nani. He smiled and replied "We had a feeling you weren't dead. It's great you're ok though"

90's kid heard the banging of Chick's feet. He then remembered that she had no voice and only a kiss could break the spell. 90's kid without waisting time quickly untied her bondage. 90's kid then hugged chick "So glad you're not a statue babe! Come on! Critic's waitin' for you!"

Patch meanwhile stayed in the closet. He wanted to go and tell them to stop hurting one another but he was under orders to not speak. He only let the darkness cosume him

[Mechakara]

(ooc: Yeah. nani has a communicator. Morpheus can use it to teleport them both back.)

Mechakara grabbed the staff before it hit him.

"I still have my strength. You're not going to defeat me that easily." said Mechakara.

He swung a punch at Linkara's ranger suit hoping to cause some damage.

Chester and Elisa kept throwing random things from lamps to chairs to pillows at her in desperation.

"Come on 90's Kid. Get her out of here." said Elisa.

Dark Nella turned realizing 90's Kid wasn't there anymore.

"NO! You're not taking her." said Dark Nella.

She turned and charged back towards the prison shoving Elisa and Chester aside as she did so.

"90's Kid! Chick! Run!" shouted Chester.

Chick smiled as she was freed and hugged 90's Kid mouthing "Thank you". Just then she heard Elisa and Chick. She turned and ran out the door only to run right into Dark Nella.

"Going somewhere?" asked Dark Nella, chuckling

[DarkHeart]

"Snob! I need to take her to safety!" Morpheus replied worried "Does she have something to take her home?"

Snob ran to him a bit and replied giving him the teleporter to take him home. He smiled "Yeah. This is it. Just press the red button and you'll get home" Morpheus smiled and patted snob "Good luck. See you on the other side" Morpheus with Nani then disappeared transporting to the critic's home

(OCC: With that, both Nani and Morpheus have successfully left)

DarkHeart heard tons of noise and her eyes glowed red as she quickly came to assist her. She was ordered by Mechakara to stay put and since IHeart wasn't there, she had no interest in battling. She then saw Elisa, Paw, Chester, Harvey and 90's kid all battle to save Chick. Leaving 90's kid and Chick to handle Dark Nella she aimed her arm right at the other four.

She laughed metalically as she saw Elisa warn the two "They're not going anywhere and neither are you four. You want to send your friend home? You'll have to deal with me" She then called to Dark Nella "Chick's all yours friend. I shall deal with the other four idiots"

90's kid caught the mouthed message and replied "No prob babe" Then Dark Nella came and quickly he protectively stood in front of chick. 90's kid snapped "Yeah. We're going home. I'll fight you if I have to. Chick's not supposed to be a prisoner and man do I hate it when people just stand in the way"

[Dark Nella/Nella Black]

Chester saw Iheart and smiled walking over to Dark Heart putting his arm around her hugging her.

"Iheart. Great to see you. You sure healed quickly." said Chester.

He paused as he realized what she said.

"Wait. You've joined the bad guys?" said Chester.

(ooc: Feel free to send Chester flying. xd)

Elisa frowned realizing 90's Kid and Chick were on their own against Dark Nella. Elisa she gasped seeing Dark Heart.

"Iheart? What are you doing here?" asked Elisa.

When Dark Heart spoke she gasped fearing Iheart had been turned like Goggles and Nella.

"Iheart don't do this. We're your friends." said Elisa.

Dark Nella turned seeing Dark Heart and nodded.

"Thanks. You take of those clowns. And I'll handle them." said Dark Nella.

She turned back to 90's Kid and Chick.

"I'm a quasidemonic intergalactic entity. The two of you are no match for me." said Dark Nella.

Chick looked for a weapon grabbing a laser gun from the table and fired at her.

Dark Nella dodged it and then fired a blast of electricity at them both.

(Just realized we each have a character with Dark in their names. xd)

Maleficent smirked, pleased both by her direct hit and the fact that her “slave” comment seemed to have had an effect on Mechakara. Good. Perhaps his anger would be able to trip him up.

Dodging the second blast sent her way, Maleficent went back into her will-o’-the-wisp form and hurried out of the basement, leaving the robot to Linkara. She darted in and out of the various doors that lined the hallways of the House of Doom, searching for Patch but always coming up empty. The dark fairy was growing frustrated when she reached the final room. At first glance, there seemed to be no sign of the Dalmatian puppy, but when she looked again, Maleficent found that the closet door was open a crack, just enough for her to squeeze through.

The closet was filled with boxes and blankets. Maleficent darted around the space, searching for obvious spots to hide a puppy. If that failed, she would change back to her normal form. She didn’t want to cause needless attention to her presence, less she be heard by one of Ask ThatGuy’s minions.
