(The date is March 7th and this is an Intro thread for Koda. I think he'd make good friends with Kiara, so I wouldn't mind if she showed up, but this thread is open for everyone.)

Koda had walked up to the house that Cadpig had told him all about. He wasn't too much of a fan of dogs, but Cadpig and the dogs at this house seemed rather nice. So nice in fact he was all ready seeing Cadpig as one of his friends.

"So by any chance...you got any bear cubs, or bears of any sort at this house" ? Koda asked hopefully trying to find a cub he could find as a BFF , someone who he could wrestle with or something.

"I don't think so, but we always seem to have new animals here. Maybe we'll get another bear cub here. But, as far as I know, you're the first one. But, we have got a lot of animals here, that would love to be your friend. You could tell them all those adventure stories you were telling me, on the way to the house." Cadpig said.

"I guess that's true, hey, did I ever tell you about the time, me and my bestest friends in the whole wide world, Bucky and Nascha were playing a game of Hide and Seek, and Nascha found a acorn, the size of a dinner dish"?

Koda asked extending his paws as far as they could go, showing Cadpig how huge the acorn was.

"I told my brother Kenai about it, at first he didn't believe me, but when I showed it to him, he screamed like a little girl" Koda said with a laugh.

[Darla]

(OCC: Why not? Kiara and Darla are here XD)

Kiara and Darla meanwhile were both thinking of hanging around the living room instead of their rooms, despite their punishment they were free to walk around the house and whatnot. Darla turned to hear Cadpig talking to someone, a young bear cub and she patted to Kiara "Hey kiara. I think we have a new person again! Just like flower and Thumper" Kiara turned to see Koda and Cadpig both inside the house and Koda was talking about some acord found some big acorn.

Curious, the two went over to see who the new person was. Darla spoke first "Heya cadpig! Who's the new guy? He was talking about some big acorn. Like I never really thought about big acorns before"

"Acorns are fine, it's the new guy I wanna talk to. What's your name pal?" Kiara asked patiently

"Oh, Hi there. You a friend of Cadpig? "Koda asked as Darla walked up.

"That's Darla, not only is she one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world. She's also one of the best sisters in the whole world. Darla, this is Koda...Koda this is Darla" Cadpig introduced happy that her sister showed up. She gave Darla a big hug.

Koda smiles when he saw Kiara. Never had he seen a creature like Kiara before. "Hi, I'm Koda!" Koda said happily.

[Darla]

"Yep. Also her sister" Darla said with a laugh as Cadpig hugged her. She nuzzled her older sister and gave her a lick across her face in a sisterly way. She turned to Koda and responded "Me and cadpig have been close for a while and we just keep getting closer" She turned to Cadpig again and giggled as she and cadpig kept hugging. She then said to Cadpig "Where do you keep finding people? I wonder"

"Kiara. Nice to meet you koda" Kiara said in a extremely pleasant tone. Koda seemed quite friendly as seen with his smile and heard with his tone. Like koda, however, she had no idea what kind of creature koda exactly was. She never had bears around where she lived just as much as koda probably didn't have any lions around where he lived. So she immediately sniffed him and asked "Sorry but what are you? Some type of mammal or something?"

"I was just about to ask you the same question. What are you? You look like a cat of some sort. I have seen a few cats here and I can see, some similarities. But, I have never met a creature like you before , only that you must be the same kind of creature he is" Koda said gesturing towards Kovu who had walked over to Koda puzzled as to what kind of creature Koda was as well. Kovu was not picky, he would make friends with anyone.

"Wow, cool a bear" A Pegasus cried excitedly as Dash flew down to greet him. "Hi, name's Rainbow Dash" Rainbow said. "It must be so awesome being a bear and all.

Koda was stunned to see not only a horse but, a horse with WINGS.

"Oh, a "Beur" I guess that's what you are" Kovu said walking around Koda examining him.

After a few moments of investigating Koda he smiles at him.

"I like him, welcome to the Roses residence Koda. You hang out with me, Kiara, Dash, and anyone else as much as you want" Kovu said.

Cadpig hugs Darla even tighter and nuzzles her before letting go and giving Darla a lick back.

"I guess I just know where to meet people is all. "Cadpig said with a little giggle.

[Kiara]

"A lion actually. I guess I'm like a cat cause when I see them around here, I think they're my species cousins or something" She turned to see Kovu and beamed almost immediately at his arrival "Yep. Kovu also is a lion. And he's a really good friend of mine" She was unsure to say boyfriend yet but maybe today she'd confess her feelings for him, but hey she never knew so it was best to keep as friends for the very moment. She responded "Kovu this is koda. Koda, this is kovu" She then saw Dash and beamed at her arrival too and gave her a small wave "Koda, that's my other friend Dash. Rainbow dash. She's pretty fast, you might not wanna race her unless you like losing" She shrugged at that

She then whispered in kovu's ear "A bear? That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard of or seen, and I've seen humans"

Pepper went down curious to the discussions of the other children. Freckles was busy with making more friends so she felt bored and decided to hop on in for the ride. She then turned and beamed "First a skunk now a bear. This is getting more and more interesting" She said running over to smile as her two sisters darla and cadpig were hanging out. Not wanting to bother them she went to dash and koda as well as kovu and kiara seeing koda as a important dicussion. "Ooooh! Cool! I'm Pepper, nice to meet you new guy. What's your name? How you enjoying roses' place so far? What were you doing before you got here? Wanna play or something?" Easily pepper was almost as talkative as koda, so being hyperactive was right up her ally. In fact, being extremely excitable and optimistic was pretty much how to describe pepper in one sentence.

"He's right!" Pepper said kindly as she heard kovu invite the bear cub to hang out with anyone as much as he pleased. She too was more than happy to make a new friend "You smell like you came to the forest? Were you like flower and just found this place by walking about the forest?!" She asked in a very confused manner

Darla giggled as dash, pepper and kovu all came by to join the group they made of themselves. As she saw pepper talk to the two lions, koda and dash, she smiled into cadpig's affection. She nuzzled back and hugged her sister right back. She nodded in complete agreement to what kovu said to koda before once again nuzzling with her sister cadpig. "Well I wish I had that trade but you being the investigator of new allies seems perfect in my book" She then pondered "I wonder if people will get spooked by koda. Maybe we should tell somebody later?"

"Yeah, me and Kiara are best buddies till the very end." Kovu said nuzzling Kiara with a purr. It was pretty clear deep down he felt the same way about Kiara as she felt about him and somehow he'd let her know exactly how he felt soon. VERY SOON!!!

"Yeah, I am pretty fast you probably won't wanna race me" Dash said.

"I don't know, Koda's adorable. I think most humans will find him adorable, after all this is a bear ccub not 200-300 pound Grizzly. I don't think many will be terrified of Koda. How could you be spooked by such a adorable little ball of awesomeness"? Cadpig whispers to Darla.

Koda beamed happily at Pepper, he could tell Pepper would be a perfect friend for him."Okay, let me answer all your questions right now" Koda said and takes a deep breath.

"Hi, there Pepper my name is Koda. So far I love Roses Residance, cause I have met so many awesome new friends. Before I came here I remember having a play fight with one of my best friends, Nascha, next thing I know I got zapped here, and that's where I met Cadpig. I actually did come from the forest, and I don't know who this Flower is, but, I think we got here differently, and last question, I would love to play, more than anything else in the world." The excited little bear cub said.

[Darla]

Kiara purred calmly as Kovu nuzzled her, she was totally fine with him doing that. She was now a bit suspicious however. But today she felt like talking about her feelings in private. Quickly Kiara whispered again "Heya kovu. Can I possibly talk to you in private maybe?"

"Yeah you're probably right. Still we should tell them just so they know koda's here. It's not like I'm scared of him, it's just that I don't want anybody to be left out the dark. Besides, koda needs to know pretty much everybody here so long as he stays. I'm glad he's here regardless" Darla whispered back to Cadpig. Darla didn't mean to sound harsh and she wasn't being that anyway, but she didn't want to allow people to now know of koda or something

"Nice to meet you koda. Glad you like it here. I'm glad you met a lot of us. We're really friendly. Oh that's pretty cool glad you met my sister cadpig and that's cool, forests are nice. Flower is this stinky skunk that's one of our friends and that's great. We can still play wrestle since you seem to like that!" Pepper said just as fast and excited as koda said his stuff. She was very glad someone else was just as hyper and energetic as she was. She could tell her and koda were going to get along just fine.

Koda could barely hold in his excitement. Especially at the last part Pepper said. "You guys like to play wrestle"?Koda asked happily.

"Pretty much everyone here right now, doesn't mind play wrestling Koda especially, Kiara, Kovu, Dash, and Pepper." Cadpig said.

"Wow, awesome so, who's gonna be my first opponent? I'll take open challenges from anyone" Koda said growling playfully.

"That's funny because I need to tell you something very important and in private too" Kovu said following Kiara.

"Darla, you're a genius." Cadpig yips happily.

"I could have told you that" Said Rolly as he walked up beside Darla. "So what is it, with wilderness animals that seem to find you Cadpig"? Do you have some way to communicate with all the lost little forest animals"? Rolly asked playfully prodding Cadpig with a paw.

[Pepper]

Pepper wagged her tail again and nodded as Koda asked if that if any of them liked to play wrestle. She turned to see Dash and the others wait as Koda asked to take open challenges. She growled playfully and ran up to koda "I got dibs! Welcome to the club, koda!" With that she harmlessly pounced on koda to get the "fight" started. She started to gently nip at Koda's ear to encourage him to wrestle back.

"Really? Good. Let's just go to the kitchen seeing the new kid play with hyper-mccrazy" She said in a clearly friendly tone as pepper and koda began fighting. She went with koda to the kitchen and sighed softly, not sure how to express what to say. "Look, it's been a while but those times where we snuck out and hung out with each other meant a lot to me. Those were the only times dad trusted me enough not to ask me what was going on, which is weird considering everything else he was either worried or letting my mom handle it and mom lets me do stuff a lot more" She sighed again nervously "OK. I'm rambling. The point is the important thing is... well... did you ever think we could, you know, be more than best buds? I know it's too much to ask but..." She was about to say more when Kovu interupted her.

Darla was about to object to Cadpig's comment but Rolly just encouraged it and she blushed again. She wagged her tail "Hiya rolly. It seems pepper and the new guy, koda, are going to get along pretty good now" She started giggling as both her sister and the new bear cub were wrestling. She then responded firmly "Don't break anything! Don't even try to break anything!" She didn't know where that came from but maybe being around here made her feel very protective of the situation. She ignored it for a bit though to pay attention to Rolly and Cadpig "I guess she does. She was the first to find a rabbit named thumper and now a bear cub named koda. It's pretty neat" Darla teased

Speaking of forest animals who should hop up next was thumper. Ever since the day he got here he considered Cadpig one of his many best friends. Thumper giggled a bit seeing the bear and puppy play as if they had been best friends forever. He could tell pepper and Koda would make perfect pals.

Cadpig sent a playful little smirk in Rolly and darla's direction. " very funny, you guys. Just in case you're a bit late showing up that wrestling bear cub over there is Koda. He's really nice and seemed to have found himself his first BFF with pepper. Now, is there anything you two wanna play? You know I love playing with you two." Cadpig said.

"Cadpig , hi" thumper said hopping over and gave cadpig's paw a big hug.

Cadpig had to smile and wrapped a single paw around the bunny hugging him back."Do you wanna play with us too Thumper? We don't know what game, but if you want you can play too" Cadpig said.


Koda had to smirk playfully at pepper. Koda could all ready tell him and pepper would be best pals. He began nipping and pawing at pepper wrestling with her. " you're going down puppy" Koda said playfully with a playful growl.


Kovu allowed Kiara to drag him to the kitchen. Kovu's eyes widen as He hears all of what Kiara said . He holds up one paw to stop her so he could say something. " Kiara, do you remember that I told you that there was something I needed to tell you? Kiara when I spent time with you, I felt so happy. You were so unlike all the other girl cubs who I had met. You're so special and unique. And that's what I always loved best about you Kiara.

So to answer your question of do you think we could ever be more than friends, let me answer the question by just doing this" Kovu said and than he leans closer to Kiara and kisses her on the lips.

[Darla]

"Anything you guys want to do I'm open for! Maybe we can do something less..." She turned to see Thumper and gave him a hello by yipping at him in greeting before continuing by turning her head to pepper and koda and saying "Risky. Maybe some hide and seek? Or something else?" She turned to Rolly, Cadpig and Thumper seeing she was the fourth in the group and said "We can do it someplace quietly too since Pepper likes to talk trash and apparently so does koda"

"Unfortunately my friend it is YOU who will be going down. You may be new but I ain't going easy on ya!" Pepper replied playfully in return. It was true, Pepper wasn't going easy on anyone, especially somebody new like koda. At koda's nips and pawing at her face, Pepper smirked "Fight fiesty eh?" She wrestled harder and tried to send koda to the ground. "You're mine, fluffy!" She mocked teasingly

Kiara stopped instantly as Kovu raised her paw, her face fearful she went too far but her fears were destroyed when Kovu said he told her that there was something he needed to tell her and then started telling her very interesting things. That he felt happy when the two spent time together, that she was unlike many girl cubs he met, that she was special and that was the reason he loved best. Kiara was hoping he was saying what she thought he was going to say but before he did, he simply just answered her question by kissing her. Kiara's eyes popped but she suddenly embraced the feeling and kissed back, a feeling of contentment and relief washing over her. She kept kissing the other cub before pulling back and going "Well.... That definitely answers the question for sure. And I really like the answer"

" I KNEW IT" a voice said and just than RD flew down. She had followed her friends. " I knew you two were meant to be together, come here you two " dash said giving both cubs a great big hug.

" I guess since you're both our best friend, you deserve to know." Kovu said hugging dash back. " I'm really happy with the answer to Kiara. I love you" Kovu said with a smile to Kiara.

" if I go down I am taking you with me flea bag" Kovu said playfully and wrestling with Pepper.

" tag or hide and seek work for me" thumper said.

[Darla]

Kiara literally jumped in the air in shock as Dash shouted her proclaimation. She was in the moment of realization that it wasn't just her and kovu, and that their friend was a peeper and was hugging both her and kovu. Though, somehow, Kovu's proclaimation to her deserving to know simmered her anger away and she focused completely on the fact that kovu just said he loved her. Kiara beamed brightly, more brightly than she had in a long time and responded lovingly "I love you too Kovu" She nuzzled kovu after Dash eventually let go. Then she turned with a annoyed but amused glare to Dash "You totally heard everything didn't you? You sneak"

"Who are you calling flea bag? You're the one who hasn't had a bath in a long time, I can smell it!" Pepper snapped playfully. She smiled to make sure Koda knew she was kidding before wrestling harder. She laughed "You're fiesty and fun I'll give you that but you're still gonna lose pal!"

"Watch out for the furniture guys! Seriously!" Darla said in her own state of worry. After that though she turned to Thumper who said Tag or Hide and seek would work for him and she smiled softly. "What do you two think? Me and Thumper pretty much have our own opinion, so it's up to you two to decide" She teased then wagging her tail "Better be quick or we'll have to do something to make a decision"

" That smell you're smelling is probably just the smell of you're own failure puppy " Koda playfully shot back to pepper hoping she realized he was just playing around with her. " you're darn right , I'm feisty and I hate to disagree with you buddy, but it's you who's going down" Koda said wrestling with pepper harder determined to win and blocking out everything Cadpig and Darla were saying.

" yeah, you guys don't wanna break anything . Playfighting is outdoor play. At least than you wouldn't have to worry about breaking anything." Cadpig said.

Dash lets go of the 2 cubs. " yup, I heard every single word, but don't worry I won't tell anyone. I think most would find out that there is something going on between you. I gotta be honest I always sensed there was a connection there other than best friends." Dash said.

" we are gonna get you back for that Dash. Once you find someone you love we are gonna sneak up on you two" Kovu said with a playful growl and smile to dash making her realize he was just playin around.

" let's play hide and seek." Rolly and Cadpig say at the same time.
