While Dash and Edith had a sense of humor, according to Kiara, Pepperclark and Lilo were not so happy. Kiara stopped laughing eventually and instead coughed and made a face at the horrible stench. She hi-hoofed Dash then rolled her eyes at the skunk "Alright. Sorry for spooking you. Now maybe you can get rid of the stench. We don't need to be forced to clean it up now do we?" She coughed and covered her nose with her paws. She then mumbled "Come on lighten up. It's not like we meant to make you spray" She then heard Lilo snap and Kiara laughed harshly, and responded sarcastically "Oh please. Like I'll get a whoopee cushion one night or get pranked to wake up early? Oh yeah, that's terrible"

"Pepperclark is absolutely right. That was anything BUT funny. You could've really gotten someone hurt. One of us could've fallen out of fright and hurt our head. Darn it Kiara, one of these days you're gonna get karma" Lilo then covered her nose as the skunk made a horrible stench. Like Edith, she petted the skunk to try to get her to calm down and stop the smell. She then growled at Kiara "You are just so careless at times. It's so inconsiderate" Lilo couldn't understand how unempathetic Kiara was being at the moment. For some reason it reminded her of Myrtle.

"Probably under a bed like you did! Let's go search every....Pe yew! Looks like pepperclark got spooked or something. Aw well it'll be done eventually. Let's go find Thumper!" Darla said, running to the bedrooms upstairs, expecting Rolly and Cadpig to quickly follow.
"Ugh" Pepper mumbled "Nasty smell. Let's go follow them and find someplace that smells better and get ready for the surprise" She then allowed Koda to follow Darla, Rolly and Cadpig as she went up the bedroom also.
