Science Sisters (Carly)

[Jane Foster]

(OCC: March 6th, Morning. Dr. Tease and Jane Foster thread of friendship)

Jane was admittedly in the middle of things, Ma-Ti(Some kid she never knew) was dead, the children moved out of this house and to a new one, she was aware of the stakes of her life thanks to Loki being here, her boyfriend was busy with the other avengers as well as herself, and she was not even inventing or creating anything to help them. Jane looked around to see the lab empty so far, and her curiousity lead her to wish to make something here. Jane walked over to check on a few liquids, perking her nose up to prevent the smells from getting to her, and then looked to a practice gun and was about to look into it when suddenly she heard footsteps and the sound of a pen writing on something. She turned to see who it was, nervous and with her hands behind her back.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly walked into the lab ready to work on her latest ideas. She paused as she realized she wasn't alone. Not that she had a problem with working with others. She'd worked quite well with the rest of the science staff. The woman looked familiar and then it clicked. She was Jane Foster from the Marvel movie universe and was Thor's girlfriend. She made a mental note not to anger her. Having a god ticked off at her was not on her priority list. She'd already had enough trouble with Dark Nella when she killed her clone and nearly killed her and Nostalgia Chicki.. Of course now Dark Nella was back and thankfully this time they still had their own Nella as well. She wasn't sure how that had worked and no one else had really been able to explain it. They figured it had something to do with the Ring of Heart.

The ring perplexed her. It was just supposed to give him telepathy to speak to animals and other people through their minds and hearts. But suddenly he gained the power to defeat Malachite and now the ring split Dark Nella in two. Critic had said Aeon forged a ring and that was what Ma-Ti had used to stop Malachite. But those two rings weren't the same. They were created in two separate universes. When she brought that up she'd just gotten confused stares at first but people had realized she was right. Ma-Ti's ring should not have been able to do all of this. But now he was gone so they couldn't ask him. Spoony currently had the ring and she'd have to ask him sometime if she could study it. With some magical experts like Linkara and Maleficent ready if something went wrong. But if they could figure out where Ma-Ti's power boost came from perhaps they could duplicate it somehow. She paused realizing she hadn't spoken at all to the woman who probably knew she was here by now. She grinned walking over to her.

"Hello. You're Dr. Jane Foster right? I'm Dr. Carly Tease. I'm one of the scientists here. Glad to have you aboard." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

It turned out it was a woman with blond hair, a pen in her hand with a notepad as well as glasses, she looked like the typical scientist chick. It turned out her name was Dr. Tease, how she got that name was beyond Jane but it made her smile. The woman seemed nice and willing to work with her, seeing she was quite nice to her instantly, but Jane learned not to be quick to make friends and just be civil as possible. Regardless, she shook hands with Dr. Tease and responded "Yes that's my name. Don't wear it out" She smirked at her own joke but coughed slightly "It's nice to be aboard. I'm glad to be on the right side of things. It's... Wait how do you know my name so quickly? Is it because Thor mentioned me or something? Not that's bad or anything just curious" Jane was quick to ask questions to calm her nerves. She was not the most social person, she had the attitude of one but Jane tended to be the bookworm of sorts and didn't make a lot of friends other than Darcy or Dr. Selvig. She hoped Dr. tease didn't think oddly of her.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Dr. Tease chuckled at Jane's joke. Then when Jane spoke again asking how she knew about her.

"Oh. We know about you and everyone here. You see all of your stories are movies and tv shows here. You and Thor are from a movie called Thor. Hawkeye cameoed in that one. Tony has 3 Iron Man films. Black Widow was in Iron Man 2 as well. Bruce had a film called the Incredible Hulk. Steve had a movie called Captain America. Then Thor, Hawkeye, Tony, Black Widow, Bruce, and Steve all joined together in a movie called the Avengers. The Search for the Tesseract, Loki returning, and eventually ending in that battle in your New York to stop aliens from taking over." said Carly.

She paused looking at her with sympathy.

"I'm was angry too when SHIELD confiscated your technology and research. But your research will not be taken away. It will be admired and encouraged. If you wish to work alone you can. Or you can work with us as there are several scientists here including myself, Tony, and Bruce. I would like to be friends with you and work together. If you want." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"Oh in this universe I'm famous?" Jane sounded honestly flattered and humbled with this information. She covered her mouth with her hands to hide her smile but she was extremely flattered. "Oh my god. That's so cool. I'm in movies! I kinda wanted to be a actress at first but my mom said it was a bad idea mostly because of constant outfit changing, and when I was younger I hated getting more than one outfit on" Jane said out of her own excitement with her new aquaintance. She realized she was starting to babble so she started to calm down and apoligized "Sorry. This is new information" She awkwardly walked closer to the tables behind her and looked to Dr. Tease when the other doctor mentioned S.H.I.E.L.D steal her things. That always got to her. Her life's work was nearly taken forever if not for Thor and Coulson. Everything she worked for, was so close to being taken. She was honestly still angry.

"They had no right. I wanted to sue them so badly. Dr. Selvig talked me out of it, hopefully the movies showed you that too" Jane said bitterly but she turned shocked to see Dr. Tease say her work would be admired. That was something she had on the long run of wanting for but she never thought someone would say that to her. And then Dr. Tease suggested that she could work alone or with the rest. Jane liked working alone but she always enjoyed company too, despite the fact she rarely had friends over. She smiled to Dr. Tease and responded "Hey. I actually really wanna work with the others. I worked with people before, I'm more than happy to do it again. It'd be fun to see what you and I can come up with together here. We seem to be the only girl scientists so far anyway" She smirked, feeling slightly awkward again.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly grinned.

"Yes. Most people here are from tv shows or movies and you guys are pretty popular here." said Carly.

She grinned at Jane's enthusiasm that she always wanted to be in movies.

"I'm sure you'd be a great actress if you still wanted to be." said Carly.

When Jane apologized Carly smiled.

"It's alright. You're just excited. I was ni a movie too. Although it was more of a cameo compared to you." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"I know what it's like. I was trying to stop Mechakara and some others from trying to take over the world using an anomaly in space called the plot hole. The government captured me and my friend Dr. Block. We tried to escape and ended up in a Mexican prison for a while. Thankfully the charges were dropped and we were set free. So I can understand resenting the government for interfering or stealing your work." said Carly.

When Jane spoke again she smiled and nodded listening to her.

"Then perhaps we could be partners. There are only four female scientists here at the moment. The two of us , Pepper, and Jesu Otaku. But I'm sure we could be a good team. If you wanted." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"Oh that explains why I remember the puppies from some movie I saw. I thought it was just a coincidence" Jane responded happily at Tease's insistance that she was indeed on tv. She never did it for the fame but it was nice to be appreciated. She then looked to Dr. Tease who said she was in a movie too and Jane smiled, seeing things in common between them. She also nodded thanks when Tease praised that she could be a good actress if she wanted but Jane was content with her life as it was now. Jane then gasped as she heard the backstory of Dr. Tease and her intwines with the government. Jane sighed "They judge too quickly sometimes. They assume the good guys as the bad guys and the bad guys as the good guys. It's not like every new search is something to destroy us. They didn't stop me though and Coulson helped me get it back" She sighed again smiling as Dr. Tease continued to talk to her.

"Sure! We can be partners! You seem like a really smart person Dr. Tease. I'm no stranger to teamwork. It's just the team I had was a bit misfitish, not that I don't love them but they tend to mix things up. And besides, you and Jesu and the rest of the members here will be fine I'm sure. So when do we start?" Jane said quickly and with enthusiasm.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly nods.

"Yes. You guys are all famous. I often wondered what films and books and things existed in your world. At least 101 Dalmatians exists there." said Carly.

Carly smiled glad she'd made Jane happy with what she spoke. She grinned at him. She nodded seeing they were bonding. When Jane spoke again she nodded.

"Yes. It's not like we're mad scientists like Dr. Insano. We' just want to complete our work in peace. At least here we have the chance to do that." said Carly.

She grinned as Jane said they could be partners and grinned at the flattery.

"Well thank you. And I understand working with a new team here may be hard to adjust to. But I'm sure you'll be able to work things out." said Carly.

She paused with a grin.

"Well, we can start at any time. But I would like to get to know you better. I mean they only showed your life that one weekend when Thor was banished from his home, met you, and fought Loki. and then you were relocated for your own safety during the event in new york where the avengers had to stop Loki and the Chitauri." said Carly.

She paused with a grin.

"Like about Thor. How good is he at kissing? I've only kissed Tony and Steve. And just between us I think Steve's the better kisser. Just don't tell Tony that." said Carly.

She grinned as she set her stuff down and took a seat as she and Jane kept chatting.

(ooc: just Carly's biased opinion of course. of course if tony heard this he might get offended while steve would be amused at the news. xD)

(OCC: LOL. That sounds hysterical)

"That was the name! 101 Dalmatians! Darcy watches that movie all the time. It was on the tip of my tongue now you reminded me. Thanks tease" Jane responded happily, forgetting the other half of Dr. Tease's comment. She then remembered that and responded "Well last time I checked I was brought here to pretty much the same time as now. So if it was 2012 there, it's 2012 here. So all the movies and books you have here, we had there. Except if new movies came out then I don't know" Jane shrugged

She then smiled as Dr. Tease responded in their defense that not all scientists were mad or crazy. She completely agreed with that. She could tell she and Dr. Tease were going to be quite the pair. She nodded in complete agreement "I know. We're not crazy. Sure some of us are but not all scientists want the selfish benefact of money all the time. Money helps us and we need it but not enough to harm people!" Jane then pondered "Wait who's Dr. Insano? Sounds like a parody of Dr. Frankinstein or something"

She then grinned back as Dr. Tease commented about being a team. She was right. They could work out. Being a team seemed easy but different minds meant different ideas but Jane Foster was normally positive when it came to science so she could handle it. She then nodded at the concept of getting to know each other better first. Jane was about to speak about her past life and what happened before Dr. Tease immediately went into her relationship with Thor. Jane blushed, unsure how to handle people asking about that especially about how good thor kissed. Call her private but Jane wasn't really comfortable talking about that but the sweetness in Tease's tone and her confessions of kissing two men, tony and steve and prefering steve was rather amusing enough for her to confess. Jane snorted before laughing and took a seat, still laughing. "Dr. Tease, I don't really think you greet people by making out with them! But still, it's nice to hear you prefer Mr. Rogers' kissing instead of Stark's. Hope Stark doesn't catch you saying that though!"

She then sighed and admittedly shyly "Well, ok thor's kissing is, well it's kinda, sorta. OK it's really hot. Like super hot ok? His kissing is incredible and nice and passionate and.... I never had a conversation like this before. Oh my god" She blushed, she hadn't blushed this much since her freshmen year in high school. She sighed "And I know this because I used to date a guy named dr. donald blake but his kissing was dry and weird, thor's is definitely better. And he only does it out of love, not from me forcing him to like donald did"

[Dr. Carly Tease]

(ooc: Oh I didn't realize there was someone named donald blake in the marvel movie verse. I thought it was just a fake name they used for Thor as a nod to the original origin where Donald Blake transformed into Thor. xd)

Carly grinned.

"Yes. I haven't seen it recently myself but the puppies are cute. And your welcome." said Carly.

She paused listening to her.

"So you have the same movies we do? Well aside from movies based on heroes in your universe. Like Iron Man and Thor since it was real life in your universe." said Carly.

She grinned as Jane agreed that all not all scientists were crazy or mad.

"Glad to see we agree. It's mostly male scientists here. I'm glad to see another female scientist here." said Carly.

She paused as he asked who Dr. Insano was.

"The mad scientist who started this mess. It was his invention that pulled us all here. He's working for Ask That Guy's army. He was briefly in Facilier's army for a while but he's back working for Ask That Guy again." said Carly.

She chuckled at Jane's words.

"You greet people your way. And I'll greet them mine." said Carly.

She nodded at Jane's suggestion.

"Don't worry. I wouldn't. Tony's a good friend. I wouldn't want to upset him. Although I'm sure he'd get over it." said Carly.

She grinned again when Jane talked about Thor's kissing. She probably would have kissed Thor as well if she wasn't already dating someone. After all who could resist a god like that. But she loved Steve and she was happy with him. She chuckled at Jane's shyness.

"It's ok to talk about our guys like this. To share if they did something good. Or vent if they made you mad. I usually had that with my friend Dr. Block. But I haven't really seen her since this war began." said Carly.

She paused at the name in confusion.

"Is that where you got the idea to give Thor the fake name of Donald Blake? To help him escape the SHIELD agents who arrested him?" asked Carly.

She paused when she said Donald tried to force her and she looked concerned.

"Force you? He didn't try to hurt you did he? Because if he did I'd make a machine and go to your universe and teach him a lesson. No one should be treated like that." said Carly.

She flirted of course and made jokes. But she knew when to not cross a line and it sounded like this Donald Blake didn't.

[Jane Foster]

(OCC: In the movie it IS used as a fake name for thor but it's also a person that Jane had a relationship with. She even mentions that Donald was her ex-boyfriend XD)

Jane ignored the dalmatians for now and nodded at Tease's clarification for movies she's seen in her world "Yep. We don't have anything like "Marvel" or "DC" just disney and random other movies. But it's nice that people here enjoy the movies you guys have of me and whatnot" She then smiled at the fact she wasn't the only female scientist here, Jane honestly was glad to have Dr. Tease here. She then paid attention to the description of Dr. Insano and frowned deeply at it, the man didn't sound quite pleasant or kind, especially since his invention caused her to be away from home. "Well, when I meet him, I might just go and beat him up myself. The snot-nosed jerk doesn't know anything about the effects of what happened, cause if he really did, he'd be careful and not do it"

She shrugged, calming down slightly as Tease mentioned the whole kissing affair once more. She laughed as tease defended that it was the way she greeted people and Jane nodded at the idea of keeping this quiet to Tony. Jane then listened to Tease and shrugged "I only had darcy so I get what you mean. It's just I'm kinda akward about that stuff. Still you're right, we can talk about these things" She then responded "Hopefully I'll meet Dr. Block and you can meet my friend Darcy"

She then explained the donald situation "Yes. He wasn't around so we just borrowed his name. They know it's a lie anyway so he won't get in trouble" She honestly didn't care, because donald and her didn't have a good relationship at all and he was pretty mean to her, very absent and apathetic. She then saw her friend get very concerned and Jane quickly replied "No. He wasn't hurtful or anything. Just emotionally insensitive and just liked to show off. He was more of a ladies man in the bad way. He wanted to impress his patients" She sighed, rubbing her hair "That's fine. I'm awkward anyway so I'm lucky enough to be shown off" Her tone sounded completely hurt and she looked like she was going to start crying.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

(ooc: Ah ok. So donald blake and thor are separate people in this version. sort of like the hulk/thor team up nash & film brain reviewed. xd)

"They don't even exist as comics in your universe? Well I suppose that' make sense." said Carly.

She smiled with a grin.

"I wonder if there are any major changes in films. It'd be interesting if they cast someone else in films in your world. But I guess it'd impossible to find out. Unless I ended up in your world." said Carly.

She shrugged dropping the subject as they talked about Insano.

"There are three crazy doctors over in Ask That Guy's house. Dr. Insano, Dr. Insuedo, and Dr. Smith. And Dr. Smith's was a scientist who got bitten by an alien spider and turned into a spider creature. So he's probably the most dangerous of the three and he seems to talk about spiders a lot. So probably avoid talking about them unless you want a lecture on spiders or get him mad." said Carly.

She chuckled and nodded with Jane.

"Yes. The three of them just give science a bad name. And there's a few robots and others in both armies who help I think. They just give science a bad name." said Carly.

Well of course she wasn't going to mention her truth serum or her offer to clone Nella. She chuckled as Jane agreed to keep quiet to Tony about Carly thinking Steve was a better kisser to Tony. She smiled as Jane spoke again.

"Well, all I had was Dr. Block, Nella, Nostalgia Chick, Elisa, The Make Over Fairy, and Lord Maguffin. Although the last two haven't been around much lately. They must be busy with something else. Thankfully I've met some other good friends here during the war like you and Tony. I'm going to miss you guys when you go back though." said Carly.

Carly grinned as Jane said she hoped to meet Dr. Block and Carly could meet Darcy.

"Only if Darcy and Dr. Block showed up. And well I'd like to see Dr. Block. But at the same time, I wouldn't want to put her in danger either. If that makes any sense." said Carly.

She paused listening to her about the name change.

"Ah, that's right. It's been a while since I saw the Thor film." said Carly.

She paused still concerned but Jane said he didn't physically hurt her. But he was insensitive and a jerk.

"Ah. Reminds me of some other jerks I know. Do you have Beauty and the Beast in your world? This guy reminds me of Gaston from that film." said Carly.

She paused as she hugged her.

"Don't say that about yourself. You're beautiful. You have one of the hottest men in the multiverse in love with you and he's a god to boot. And you're funny, smart, and a good role model. You're one of my favorite Marvel characters and you're a very popular character. You have a lot of fans in this world. Don't sell yourself short. " said Carly.

She wasn't sure if she was saying this right. Pep talks weren't usually her thing but she hated to see her new friend upset.

[Jane Foster]

(OCC: Yeah pretty much. The movies are very similar to the comics but even then they take their own liberties)

"Not really. If they did have them, it'd be kinda weird since a lot of the people in it would pretty much be looking at themselves in the book, like myself" Jane responded with a patient grin. When tease mentioned/asked about the chance of their being different actors and actresses compared to the world she now was in, she only shrugged with a more dreamy smile "Hey. You never know, and honestly I can't tell the differences at the moment 'cause the movies I have I didn't bring with me. Maybe someday you'll come to my new place back at my universe or something"

"Dr. Smith, Dr. Insano and Dr. Insuedo. All crazy and all terrible. And be sure to stay away from spider-obsessed Dr. smith, got it. What's next to this, Dr. Wily and Dr. Honeydew?" Jane said sarcastically with a eyeroll. She took it seriously but she was a tad frustrated with the fact scientists were involved in all this, it was just going to hurt others and give her profession a bad name. She nodded as Tease told her that the people stated were people who gave them a bad name and nothing more "Agreed. Well, we might as well not just let them give us a bad name now. We just need to find a way to stop them"

"Well I'm glad you have those friends. They're a lot of girls and that helps you out in more ways than one. Darcy though is just as good, I'm not selling her out or anything. I will miss you definitely when or if we get back but maybe I'll find a way to find you. Hey if it worked for thor, it can maybe work with you" She shrugged again and chuckled "Mr. Stark will miss you too, though I'm not him, but maybe he and I can get together to catch up with you" She smiled softly "We'll see though. Let's stick to the present"

She then nodded in agreement that although it'd be nice to have darcy and/or Dr. block it'd also be dangerous for them. "No. I get it. It'd be nice but this is a war and the fact they're not in it makes me feel glad they're safe. It's better for them away from us than near us but you miss Dr. block and I miss Darcy. It's fine, I get it"

"Hey don't sweat it. It was weird for me too. Calling him opposite names" Jane shrugged. She then began laughing hysterically as Tease asked if she had Beauty and the beast in her world when it came to the real donald, because from the way he sounded was very similar to Gaston "We do! And that's exactly who he acted like! I can't believe I didn't compare it like that. Oh my god that's so funny because it's true" She laughed harder before calming down "Basically gaston-ish type of boyfriend yeah, I broke up with him because I just wouldn't deal with it. My dad never liked him so he was happy and my mom says I'll find someone else, so I did"

She then began to get sad again as she remembered the space between meeting thor and her breakup with Donald. She was very insecure with how she was because of it. She didn't know why but being around donald made her feel bad but the fact the breakup was bad and his blaming her of it was even worse. It caused her to become much more akward when it came to men previous to Thor. However the god of thunder was bringing in a majority of her positive traits in her once more and now that he was here, she was pretty content and happy. Then Tease hugged her and jane was shocked for her to be so straight-forward but she smiled and hugged back. Hearing Tease's words made her feel more confident and self-worthy. She needed this but coming from Tease was somehow better than thor or even Darcy. "Thanks Tease. You're right. I should feel a bit better about myself. I have Thor and that means a lot, and I like doing what I do now so I have a pretty good gig going on. Thank you, I needed that"

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly chuckled.

"I suppose you're right. Although I guess it makes sense. You wouldn't have much comics when your world has real-life superheroes." said Carly.

Carly grinned.

"I'd like that. Exploring another Earth sounds like fun. But I'd miss my life here just like you miss your home. So unless I had a way back I probably wouldn't go." said Carly.

She chuckled.

"I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up. Although Dr. Honeydew was a good scientist for the Muppets so it'd be good to have him. Even if his inventions didn't always work." said Carly.

She nodded as Jane agreed those three scientists just gave us a bad name.

"Yes. Thankfully there are more good scientists in this war than bad ones. At least I think so. We've got Tony, Bruce, Mike, Linksano, Donny, the two of us, and many others. So we'll show them the true power of science when it's used for good." said Carly.

Carly nodded again agreeing with Jane.

"Yes. It's important we keep our friends close. They keep us grounded. I know I could have very easily become a mad scientist like Insano and the others. If I didn't have my good friends. While some inventions I've created ar questionable like my truth serum I've never gone too far over the line. And I don't really want to." said Carly.

Carly sighed.

"I love Steve and I don't want to be left here without him. And I know he might be tempted to stay if asked him. I know he'd go back. Your world needs Captain America so when this war ends I think I'll be going with you. I just hope i find a way to visit this world. I'll miss all my friends here." said Carly.

She smiled again as Jane got what she was saying about worrying about their friends.

"I'm glad you get it. Really I wish Chick, Nella, and Elisa were back in New York where it was safer. Nostalgia Chick had her arm broken. She lost her voice. She was even held hostage for a while. Nella was possessed by an evil entity for weeks before she somehow split into two. Nella and Dark Nella. And Elisa well nothing bad has happened to her yet but it's only a matter of time in this war. I wish this war didn't have to happen at all." said Carly.

She paused as Jane said it was weird calling him different names.

"Well at least we only have to call him Thor now." said Carly.

Carly chuckled as well as Jane agreed that Donald was exactly like Gaston.

"And you ended up with a handsome prince who had some anger issues. Just like Belle. Interesting." said Carly.

She paused as Jane was silent for a while. When Jane hugged her back and spoke again Carly grinned.

"Your welcome. You're my friend now. And I hate seeing my friends feel down. I'm not always good with the pep talks but if you ever need to chat I'm always free for you." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"True. You wouldn't. That makes a lot of sense, Tease" Jane responded about the comic book things in her world being rare. "Yeah. It was just an offer. The last thing I want for anyone is to stay stranded in a home that's not theirs" Jane replied again related to the offer she gave to tease to come by and visit. "Well yeah. Dr. Honeydew hopefully would be on our side. Dr. wily I'm not so sure about" Jane said with a enthusiastic smile. She was enjoying the conversation she was having with Tease.

"Amen. We have a lot of good, smart people and we'll prove the stereotypes wrong" Jane said with a added fist-pump to the sky. Her real personality was starting to shine as she continued chatting with the other female scientist. "Yeah friends and family ARE important in the end. They help you out or they should" Jane replied with a casual shrug.

"Well whatever happens, happens. You and Mr. Rogers are great together and if you do want to come with him then maybe you should. I can help you with a transporter so you can always go see your friends here if you DO decide to stay with Captain America. 'Cause unfortunately our world needs people like him" Jane softly responded related to the conversation about Steve Rogers. She knew it was risky to not have him now but not have him at all was a pretty selfish and terrible idea.

"Me neither but it happened and all we can do is hope the rest of our friends stay away. I'm glad darcy's safe, I wouldn't change that for anything. It's best to keep them away. If they ever come then that's something we'll take care of but for now, it's best to leave them at home" Jane responded again about their friends being safe.

"Thor's better than Donald anyway" Jane retorted calmly. "Yeah. My life really did turn up to be a beauty and the beast rip-off. But I actually like it. A lot. It fits with everything that happened to me. I'm glad thor's my beast and I'm his belle. It's cute" Jane said with a smile, thinking about how thor's personality did fit within beast's personality in the Disney film.

"You're a good friend, Tease. I liked your pep talk and I'll be sure to count on you. Really tease, this means a lot to me" Jane replied, holding onto tease for a little bit before eventually letting go of the hug. Jane then responded with a smile "So! Let's go check out some of your great experiments huh?"
