Science Sisters (Carly)

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly nodded.

"It would be ironic though if DC Comics was fictional in your world. You hear of people like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman over there? As a tv show or a comic or a movie?" asked Carly.

Carly nodded listening to her. The more she thought about it the more Carly decided she wanted to go. She was becoming good friends with Jane and she loved Steve. She chuckled as Jane thought Dr. Honeydew would join them but wasn't sure about Dr. Wiley.

"Well, Maleficent, Grimhilde, and Starscream were all villains in their worlds before they joined our army. So any villain could potentially join us if they wanted to I suppose. And Linksano's a former villain. He used to be as bad as Dr. Insano and the others but he changed." said Carly.

Carly chuckled.

"I hope we will. Although I suppose I may have crossed the line a couple of times. I invented a truth serum although it only lasts for a couple of hours. I should really try to perfect that. It could come in handy for questioning if we manage to capture anyone. Even in battle, it could help if we inject on our enemies and learn some of their battles." said Carly.

Carly smiled at Jane's support.

"Thank you. I hope I find a way to come back and visit. But I can't imagine my life without Steve now. Or you. You're a good friend. At least I'll have you, Steve, Tony, Bruce, and Thor there. So at least I won't be alone." said Carly.

Carly grinned.

"I'd like to meet Darcy and Erik sometime. Hopefully in your world so they don't get affected by this war." said Carly.

Carly grinned as Jane agreed about the Beauty and the Beast references.

"Yep. It certainly is. You got a Disney romance. This is ironic since the movie is owned by Disney here." said Carly.

Carly grinned.

"Thank you. I'm glad I could help. Science was always my main focus but my friendships with Dr. Block, Nostalgia Chick, and the others have started to change that. And dating Steve. Science isn't as important as it used to be to me. I mean I still like it but my new friendships and my love for Steve are starting to change my focus a little. And it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would." said Carly.

Carly grinned at Jane's words.

"Sure. That sounds like a plan." said Carly.

Carly led Jane back into the house and soon they were in the lab as Carly headed over to her inventions. She paused finding her truth serum notes.

"Good they're still here. I'll definitely be perfecting this." said Carly.

She paused as a helmet was attached to a computer.

"We used this to scan Spoony's brain and found out a part of Ma-Ti was inside him. Although it's taken a while to restore it. It got a little messed up when Prick cut the power and took Spoony from us. Thankfully it all worked out and we got Spoony back and stopped Prick and the others." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"Hmmm. I'm not much of a comic book person but I think I have heard super-man one way or the other. But yeah, since DC is opposite of marvel, it is ironic" Jane agreed, smiling as she and carly began talking more about the culture of her world. It was obviously similar to this one, which made being around here so easy. She then nodded as Carly explained that some villains here changed their aspects because of their opinions changing or just their need to be villainous changing. "I can understand that people change. Thor did. He wasn't a bad guy for sure but he definitely wasn't as sweet as he is now. But Linksano used to be a villain? He's so nice. Huh, guess you can't judge too much"

"Don't you worry Tease. We will prove them wrong. We'll show them" Jane assured to Dr. Tease, even though the confession of the truth serum did set her surprised, she ignored it and didn't bother to continue. She responded about Tease's possible coming home with her, Steve and the others from the "marvel" universe "It's up to you. But you WILL have me around if you did come. But, if you're really worried about not seeing anybody from here, best you stay. But I think that wouldn't be fair because you and Mr. Rogers are really close"

"Yes. Hopefully back where I come from. Darcy wouldn't survive this place and Erik has already been acting strange since, well, the Manhattan incident" Jane said about her two close friends. She ignored it again though when she and tease continued speaking about other things "Well then, a disney romance. I always wanted one when I was a kid, glad I got it. I'm happy with it though, it's not normal but I'll take it" She smiled softly

"Well that's good. I love science but having darcy and erik made me be aware that there's more to life than that too. You and I have similar personality traits. I'm glad you found Mr. Rogers like I found Thor" She smiled again, glad she and tease were getting along so well. She really enjoyed this friendship a lot. She smiled as the plan was set and continued to chat "What's still here?... Oh! Those seem to be really good notes, Tease. Mind if I look at them?" She then saw the helmet and smiled widely "That's amazing. Never seen that before. You really have done your homework!"

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly nodded.

"I guess there's no point on dwelling on it. Superhero comics and films just don't exist in your world. Which would make sense. Since your world has the real thing after all." said Carly.

Carly nodded as she was surprised at Linksano's transformation.

"Yes. He was. He was quite evil. He tried to kill Linkara and most of the "Atop the Fourth Wall." crew. He even allied with Lord Vyce, Mechakara, and Dr. Insano on a few occasions. But those ended in failure. Linksano eventually turned good when Linkara hired him to work for him as his scientist giving him access to his space ship's holodeck among other things. I don't remember all the details. You'd have to ask one of them to know for sure. But I'm glad he's on our side now." said Carly.

Carly chuckled at Jane's words.

"You're right. We will. We'll show those mad scientist rejects the true power of science. When it's used the right way. For good." said Carly.

Carly grinned.

"I think I will go back with you. I just have to find a way to tell Steve. He might try to talk me out of it but I love him. And if it doesn't work out at least I tried. I'd miss my friends here but I don't want to lose Steve." said Carly.

Carly nodded as Jane spoke about her friends.

"Well, I'm sure they'd be a great asset to our work in the lab. They don't have to fight in the war after all. But I suppose you prefer them to be safer back home than here. I would too in your shoes." said Carly.

Carly grinned again as they spoke about Jane and Thor's romance.

"So it is like Beauty and the Beast. You met Gaston before your Beast and then you helped him with his anger and he ended up being a prince. Kind ironic and amusing. I guess Steve and I more like opposites attract. I'm a scientist. He's a soldier. I never would have expected this but I'm glad it happened." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"It's something I've learned too. There's more to life than science and discovering things. I wouldn't want to give that up. But love tends to change your priorities." said Carly.

Carly nodded as Jane asked to look at her notes.

"Sure. Go ahead." said Carly.

She grinned as Carly complimented the helmet.

"Thanks. Although I'm not sure if it still works. It's been awhile since it was used." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"It would make sense to not have superheroes in our world since we have real ones. Yeah, it's best not to dwell on such a matter" Jane said, agreeing with Dr. Tease. She didn't mind talking about this type of thing but jane honestly did not have a actual answer for it. For she didn't focus on comic books. She didn't have a interest in those things.

"Me too. But I'm so surprised. It's hard to believe someone as nice as Linksano used to be bad. It's not important though since he's on our side" Jane said as the topic of linksano was coming to a slight close. She continued to speak as Dr. Tease agreed that they would show the mad scientists what they were made of "Darn right we will. Once I get my weapons on their sorry rears, they'll pay" She then smiled softly as Tease decided to go with them because despite the costs, she loved Steve too much "Well then. Best you talk to Mr. Rogers. But I'm very glad you want to come with me. It'll be nice to have you"

"You're right, they'd be great to have at the lab but it's still dangerous. Best they stay back at home" Jane confirmed, trying to not think of the positives of them staying and rather the negative. For if she thought of the positive stuff, she would probably want them here and she didn't want to think like that. "Yeah. It's really ironic when you think about it. As for you and Mr. Rogers, there is such a thing as opposites attracting" Jane replied as she and Dr. Tease kept chatting about her "disney" romance

"It does. Love is a powerful force I guess" Jane said before teasing "But not as powerful as gravity or electricity" She chuckled at her very bad joke "Couldn't help myself sorry" She then grinned as she was given permission to look at Tease's notes and grinned at how detailed they were "Wow. Tease. There is so much data in here. You've really done your homework" She then looked to the helmet and giggled "I'm tempted to test it but we both know that's not a good idea"

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly nodded.

"I suppose that settles it then. Although I'm sure there has to be some tales of superhero type people. At least myths since Thor exists in your world right?" said Carly.

She nodded.

"Well to tell you the truth a lot of them have had their evil moments. They took over a country once but they gave it back. Well, it was a micro country but they only controlled it for like a week. Plus Critic had sort of gone insane with power. They were able to snap him out of it and they all went back to their old lives. Gee when they all get together crazy stuff happens. First taking over Molossia. Then that quest to find a gauntlet that ended up fighting against Malachite and the guardians of the gauntlet. Then that space battle against Zod, Mechakara, and The Executor. And now this war. I guess bizarre things just happen to us a lot." said Carly.

Carly chuckled enjoying Jane's enthusiasm.

"That's the spirit. Those mad scientists will learn not to make real scientists mad." said Carly.

Carly nodded at Jane.

"I'll talk to him soon. I know he may try to talk me out of it but I'm going. I'd miss both of you and the others if I stayed here. I'd even miss Tony's pranks." said Carly.

She chuckled at that. She nodded in agreement with Jane.

"I think we all feel that way. We'd love to have more friends here but we want them safe. And they're safer back home than here." said Carly.

Carly nodded as Jane agreed with her about her and Thor's romance being a disney one.

"Ironic and fitting. Although I don't think Thor would appreciate being called a Beast so maybe we shouldn't mention that to him." said Carly.

She grinned as they kept talking.

"Love can be argued to be the most powerful thing in the world. It is a force of nature. After all if animals didn't care about their own families the animals would have died out years ago." said Carly.

She chuckled at Jane's joke.

"No problem." said Carly.

Carly grinned as Jane looked over her notes.

"Thank you. I'm always looking for improvements though so if you see something that could be improved or have ideas for something new feel free to share." said Carly.

Carly chuckled.

"You're welcome to try. All it does is read your mind. It wouldn't hurt you." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"Oh of course. Greek mythology and norse mythology do exist, it's just looked upon the same way you guys do. Some really believe it, some use it for fictional story-telling, some think it's full of it. I'm the first person" Jane smiled as she said this

"Huh. So not everyone is guiltless in retrospect. Well I'd rather have someone insane but harmless than someone insane and world-power hungry. But yeah, seems like your pals have a lot of issues with hanging out, it's like fate makes them just go through crazy stuff" Jane responded, genuinely surprised but relieved about learning a bit more about her people. They weren't holy but they definitely were good people.

"A bit redundant but yeah!" Jane let out a little laugh after saying that. She then nodded "Mr. Rogers seems like that guy who's selfless to a fault. Good luck with him. Just make sure to not spend so much time with him and hang around with me!" Jane gave a teasing wink after saying this

"Yeah I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants their family and friends safe" Jane agreed before laughing a bit more about Thor's comparison to the beast from beauty and the beast. She nodded "Don't worry. This is between us"

"That is incredibly true. Love IS powerful in that regard" Jane nodded before smiling as Tease understood her joke and had no problem with it. She then looked at the notes some more and nodded "Sure but so far I'm seeing nothing too bad. Everything looks accurate" She then grinned excitedly as Tease said she was welcome to try the device. "Well then. Why not? Let's see if it's accurate to my thoughts!" She was excited about this device

Carly nodded curious.

"I see. I wonder if Norse mythology exists in your world what else could. I mean in comics that are similar to your world the Greek pantheon exists and Hercules even joined the Avengers. Having two gods on your team could be quite handy. It'd be interesting if Hercules and the Greek gods exist in your world. Perhaps you should ask Thor if they do. Maybe the Greek Gods are distant cousins or something." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"I guess even I have done things that were questionable. Cloning, truth serum. But I really am trying to do better." said Carly.

She chuckled as well glad they were both in a good mood. She nodded at her words.

"Yes. Steve's great. Growing up in a different time probably helps with that some. I mean he basically slept for like 70 years or close to it anyway. I doubt he even realized how many of the girls were flirting or admiring him. It's quite cute how oblivious he is to some things." said Carly.

She chuckled.

"I'll try. But you know if you had a lot of free time you'd be spending most of it with Thor." said Carly, teasing her back.

Carly nodded.

"I guess we all want our loved ones safe. So it's something we all agree upon." said Carly.

Carly grinned as Jane agreed to keep it between us. And that love was quite powerful. Carly grinned as the topic shifted to her mind reading device.

"If only we could find a way to use this on our enemies. I mean we can hear Diablo's thoughts thanks to Maleficent's magic. But we can't exactly hear our enemies's thoughts. And no doubt any magic spell placed on them would be reversed anyway. If we could find a way to get this device to read people's minds even if they weren't using it that could be a big help." said Carly.

She grinned as Jane agreed to try it out.

"Then let's get started." said Carly.

[Jane Foster]

"Yeah! He's more of a expert on this stuff than I am. Heh, he's the mythology expert. And yet he says he prefers learning about war than myths. That's fine though, I'll ask thor about this" Jane replied about the mythology perspective. She admittedly was never sure of this stuff.

"I believe you. Truly. We all make mistakes or bad judgements" Jane responded, seeing Carly truly sorry for her actions. She then chuckled as Carly described Steve's naive nature with flirtations. "It is good. Sometimes. I think it's cute too" Jane then listened to Carly's tease about her wanting to spend free time with thor "Heh. True. But I'll try to make a effort not to ALWAYS do so"

"It is. That's a good thing" She then nodded about the whole magic hearing thing about enemies. She nodded and responded "That's true. But better to use this chance to use a device than never because all of the risks" She then tried to turn it on. It seemed to be quite successfully turned on. The device did nothing so far, but it glowed purple "Hmm. Is it supposed to turn purple? Is that bad?"

Carly nodded.

"I'm sure you've got a lot to talk to him about." said Carly.

She winked at that and chuckled. She smiled glad Jane believed her.

"Good. I will need to recreate some of those inventions again. My truth serum could be useful if we manage to capture prisoners from the other armies." said Carly.

Carly grinned as they talked about Steve.

"I know. He's just from another time so it makes more sense he's not used to the changes in relationships from back then to now. I'll be happy to show him all those changes though." said Carly.

Carly chuckled and nodded.

"I guess I'd be spending a lot more of my free time with Steve. But we should make sure to spend time for each other. I don't have that many girl friends you know. And when I go with you you'll be the only girl I'll know there. So I'm hoping we can become close even if we end up seeing less of each other. After all you'll be working on your own projects again eventually." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"We should be careful though. The last time we need is to give people split personalitie again. Jesu Otaku is still split into Edward. We were able to fix Mike but not her yet. Perhaps if we can fix this we can help her as well." said Carly.

She paused as it began to glow purple.

"I'm not really sure." said Carly.

She grabbed Jane and ducked as a flash of light enveloped the room. Carly blinked as she stood up.

"Nothing happened." said Carly.

She frowned in annoyance reaching for her water glass as it suddenly moved towards her. Carly grabbed it from hittng the floor as she looked at her hands in shock.

"I guess we didn't fix it after all. Now I have telekinesis. I wonder if it's permanent." said Carly.

(ooc: couldn't resist giving her a power. you could give jane one too. they could be temporary if we want. machine should have some kind of side effect. unless you prefer something else.)

Jane nodded, agreeing with Carly to at least talk about it with Thor. She then listened to Tease mention other things, such as the truth serum "That can be useful and during a situation like this, we need useful stuff" She then listened as Carly understood Steve's behavior and was willing to help him improve with the times. In a respectful manner that was. Jane nodded when Tease brought up that although she wanted to spend time with Steve, she would try to make time for Jane and other people "Oh of course Tease. I may get busier with work but I will always make sure to make time for you. Since I'm here, I'll make you have so much time with me you'll get sick" She giggled after that.

"Wow really. This thing must be a complex invention" Jane said, curious with it but aware of the danger now. Jane observed it and frowned when Tease replied she wasn't sure about the glow until suddenly a flash of light blinded them both. Jane felt different but otherwise fine. Which was a red flag. Jane then gasped as Tease had telekinesis. "Ooooh. This is both good and bad. We may need to study you and.." As she said this her hand glowed and burst at a table, melting it. "Oh crap. I have energy attacks. From my hands apparently. Kinetic energy... Great"

Carly nodded.

"Yes. But it can be dangerous if in the wrong hands. We don't need our enemies trying to use it on us after all." said Carly.

She smiled as Jane agreed to make time for her when she could.

"I'm glad. I'll miss Dr. Block when we go back but having you will make it easier. I love Steve but having a friend who loves science like I do will certainly help. There's Bruce but I think he'd be spending more time with Tony I figure." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"It is. But with some adjustments it should work." said Carly.

She frowned seeing it go off and now they both had powers. She had telekinesis and Jane could melt things.

"Ok this could be a problem. Well I guess inventions will have to wait. We need to master these powers otherwise we could hurt someone or ourselves." said Carly.

"Especially on people like Critic or Thor or hell, me or you. We have so much information" Jane agreed as Tease rightfully pointed out that this serum would be very dangerous. She then nodded and grinned about their blossoming relationship "Knowing Dr. Banner's behavior, I think so. But I've been used to actually organizing my time, we can hang out whenever you need or want" She then beamed at the idea of improving a machine for their benefit "A lot of adjustments but yes, with some heavy duty work it can be right as rain"

She then gingerly pulled her hair a bit out of frustration "We may not really have time to wait for inventing. We're in the middle of this huge crisis with our other enemy lines" She then looked at her hands which glowed as if warning her "Damnit all. We DO need to learn our abilities but we're really short of scientists. Donny, Tony, Bruce and Linksano can't do EVERYTHING that's thrown at them. We may need volunteers or something while we work this out!"

Carly nodded.

"Well, you know what they say. Knowledge is power." said Carly.

Carly chuckled.

"It's fine. Perhaps the three of us could collaborate on something in the future. If we get something that interests him." said Carly.

Carly nodded again.

"Hopefully. We just don't need it to go on the fritz." said Carly.

She paused again as Jane said they may not have time for inventing.

"But inventing keeps us on our toes. Gives us new weapons and gadgets to stop them. They're surely not going to stop." said Carly.

Carly nodded.

"Perhaps we should not use the lab anymore. At least until we get a hold of these. I mean we can't afford to replace or rebuild anything right now. Especially inventions. Maybe we should go to the target arena and practice there. We could ask Steve and Thor to join us perhaps. To make sure it's safe." said Carly.

(ooc: couldn't resist her suggesting they get steve and thor. could bring them into the thread. and they could both be impressed or slightly nervous at their new girlfriend's powers. xd)

"We need to know what Banner exactly likes. I didn't get a chance to learn that yet. But a collaboration is a good start too" Jane replied as the two talked about him and working together. She then nodded hearing that Tease didn't want a invention to go on the fritz, Jane saw no reason not to agree. She then expressed with some relief "Yes. It is. That's why I don't want to wait for inventing. We're in the middle of some crazy war!" She then nodded at Carly's suggestion to get Steve and Thor. "We need them. Let's go. We need to figure these powers as soon as possible" She accidentally swung her hand and it blasted the wall. She gulped and took tease with her to find Thor and Steve.

[Dr. Carly Tease]

Carly nodded.

"We can get together with him and talk. I mean we could all be working together if we find a way back. But for now maybe we should work with as many people here as we can. Once we go back it'll only just be Bruce and Tony." said Carly.

Carly smirked.

"I'm glad we're on the same page on that. Inventions, gadgets, you name it. We can't wait for something to be asked for either. We may not have the time which is why it's good to invent things in advance on the side as well." said Carly.

"Maybe we should also ask others to find a way to block or weaken our powers until we can control them. I mean what if they're permanent? I'd rather not fling things or people across the room." said Carly.

Carly blinked in shock as Jane blasted the wall.

"Maybe we should hurry." said Carly.

"Thor! Steve! We need your help!" said Carly.

Thor stood in the backyard shirtless wearing only a pair of blue shorts. He was practicing his martial arts wanting to stay in training. He rarely wore his armor outside of battle anymore cause it did weight a lot and made him hotter quicker. Plus he'd trained enough times with his armor. Today he wanted to have a more relaxing workout. Of course, he didn't notice the many female admirers he had in the army watching him from afar. Some wishing they could be Jane. He paused looking up hearing Dr. Tease.

"Carly I'm out here in the back yard." said Thor.
