"Yeah! We can get ma-ti or do some research on it! Brazil does seem to have lots of possibilities" Lottie said excitedly. She was unsure if Ma-Ti was in such a mood, since his run with bad luck, but maybe ma-ti would open up more to people if he talked about things he liked more. She didn't know. She was naive in this sense.
"I know dear and you won't lose me. I promise with my life I'll be careful with it. I'm just as scared as you but I know this is important and I'll be level-headed" Lottie promised, smiling to make sure harvey was aware that she too was aware of the consequences she could have if she wasn't careful. She then beamed at the suggestion of taking weekends off "Of course. If we're available that is. But I think weekends can be easily counted as time off anyway. It would be nice to spend a day or two here"
"We are. I don't even want to think about that" Lottie shuddered again before squeezing harvey's hand affectionately. "It's better for me too dear, you always make me so happy. Ya'll are just the perfect person for me" Lottie said affectionately, being extremely sincere and committed with what she said. He wasn't really a prince but to lottie he was very close to one. She then grinned as Harvey was excited about the beignets "You'll love it. They are just divine" She waited patiently before the waiter did indeed come up with them.

Harvey nodded.
"Perhaps research would be best. Ma-Ti's been through enough. Then again maybe we could take the kid to South America. It may not be his world but it might cheer him up a bit. Poor kid's been through a lot even before this war." said Harvey.
Harvey smiled as she agreed to stay safe.
"Good. I know you don't want to lose me either. I'll keep myself safe and you do the same." said Harvey.
He nodded.
"Well it may not be every weekend. I mean it's not fair to hog the weekends and not let some of the others go have fun as well. Maybe we'd just come here one night during the week. Even if it's just a couple hours." said Harvey.
He smiled holding her hand as she squeezed it.
"There's been plenty of close calls though. We can't guarantee anything in this war. In war people die and any of us could be next. Even one of us. I don't want to think about it but we're not invincible." said Harvey.
Harvey smiled at her.
"And you make me happy too. I don't know how I got so lucky to have you as my girlfriend. You're so beautiful and funny." said Havey.
He nodded with a grin.
"Well I hope so." said Harvey.
He paused and smiled.
"We should remember to pick up some supplies while we're here. So if you know any recipes that need certain spices or food from here you could make them. That way we could bring part of New Orleans there when we can't come here." said Harvey.

Lottie nodded understandingly when Harvey brought up that Ma-Ti had enough on his plate. He was right. The child needed a break, not more work. "You're right dearie. But I still think he deserves a place to remind him of better memories. The poor little darlin' suffered so much. He deserves some fun in his life. Like we do. Not everyone is as fortunate as us"
"Of course. Just as long as you come back to me in one piece, and with the same grin on your face" Lottie smiled, nodding her head as Harvey made her promise to be careful. She may be positive but she wasn't naive anymore. She's become smarter and more cautious thanks to this new world. Yet with cautiousness, it made her more caring and compassionate.
"Oh I'm sure it's not every weekend, I think that wouldn't be fair anyway. You're right" Lottie said when it came to breaks. She then nodded firmly as Harvey brought up that they had close calls, that they were only human and not invincible. She then giggled as Harvey responded that he was lucky to have her, for she was so pretty and funny. She replied back, kissing his cheek "You were just yourself and that's what I want from a man. Sure princes are nice but I realized you were just as good as one. Your personality is what won me over, sugar. Though your looks aren't bad either" She giggled again, winking at him.
"Oh that's such a wonderful idea, sugar!" Lottie said with enthusiasm as Harvey suggested buying supplies to remind Lottie of here. She then saw the beignets coming and delivered to them both. She took one and put near harvey's face and giggled "Open up, harvey dear"

Harvey nodded.
"There is one thing we could do. In his world, he was originally from a village in South America. I'm not sure if his village exists here but just returning to the familiar forests might calm him. He has been stuck in our world for years longer than most people who were brought here because of the war. He was probably mostly stuck in Chicago aside from the occasional cameos in our reviews. I'm sure he'd like that." said Harvey.
Harvey grinned at her.
"I will come back to you. If I end up kidnapped I will fight my back to you." sauid Harvey.
Harvey smiled at her.
"I'd take you here every day if I could. But we have that war to deal with. I will make sure you come here enough it will feel like a second home." said Harvey.
Harvey's grin grew as she kissed his cheek.
"I'm glad you got your happy ending after all. I may not be a prince but you make me feel like one." said Harvey.
Harvey grinned as she was pleased with the idea.
"Good. We'll go shopping once we're done here." said Harvey.
He grinned as she took one and put it near his face. He grinned opening his mouth letting her feed him. He tasted them and he licked his lips.
"Mmm. These are delicious. Any chance you got the recipe for these?" said Harvey.

"That's true. He knows about this world than most fictional people do. Bringin' him some closure by takin' him to places similar to home could be good for him! I'm sure he'd love it" Lottie encouraged. She did feel bad for Ma-ti because the boy wasn't doing well at all during this war. He suffered a lot.
"Okay then that's all I need to know. That you will come back" Lottie said affectionately. She then nodded softly as Harvey promised to bring her here more often despite the war "That means a lot to me, sugar. I love ya" She kissed his cheek again, glad to see him happy.
"Well you may not literally be one but ya might as well be" Lottie smiled, glad that Harvey was feeling special thanks to her. To her, he was special. Very special. She then nodded about shopping before replying to Harvey's question about the beignet recipe "I do actually! See it really pays to have a chef for a best friend. I can make this for ya right out of our home oven"

Harvey nodded.
"I wish I could more for that boy. He's been through too much. More than he should. It's hard to remember sometimes that he's only a teenager." said Harvey.
Harvey smiled at her.
"I will always try to come back to you. Believe me if I didn't have to fight I wouldn't. I prefer singing to fighting. Although I think I've found another thing I enjoy a lot more than singing. Spending time with you." said Harvey.
Harvey grinned as she kissed him.
"I know it does. I'd move here if we could but I wouldn't want to leave the others in danger. Besides Ask That Guy, Facilier and the others would track us down and we wouldn't be safe." said Harvey.
Harvey smiled at her.
"I may not be a prince but you'll always be my a princess to me." said Harvey.
He grinned as she suggested she had the recipe.
"That's great. I look forward to trying them at home." said Harvey.

Lottie understood Harvey's struggle with wanting to help. She felt similar. There was a motherly side to her. Lottie held his hand and replied "We all want to help him dear, we all do. Maybe that's why all these ideas will work. It'll make him feel less alone" She then smiled as Harvey replied the war wasn't what he wanted, but singing was, well that and being around her. Lottie giggled "You're such a charmer, that's why I love ya"
"I understand, sugar. This war, as horrible as it is, is still important. Plus I want you to be with your friends. They're all wonderful" Lottie replied, then she beamed as she was called a princess. She waved her hand in flattery before moving on. She ate one more beignet before replying "Oh good, cause I'll make a lot of them for you and the rest of the people back home" She beamed again, glad to feel right at home here.

Lottie nodded, not really having much more to add. She too hoped their efforts for the boy would be successful. Ma-Ti had enough on his plate. He didn't need anymore than he already had. She then giggled again as Harvey replied that only for her would he be such a charmer. As a response, she gave him a tender kiss before continuing the conversation. Lottie replied about abandoning people "I know you wouldn't. You're a good friend, Harvey dear. And as long as this keeps going on, we'll just have to keep moving on"
She then tried to finish her dessert so she could explore the new orleans of this world. She beamed as Harvey expressed interest in her cooking "Well I'm not nearly as good as tiana but I do make some good food!"

Harvey nodded.
"Part of me wishes it doesn't end soon because then I either lose you or lose my friends here. Some I've fought side by side for years and they've become like family to me." said Harvey.
Harvey grinned.
"I'd love it because you made it. Whether it was a sandwich or something you had to take hours to make. And everything in between." said Harvey.
