(OCC: March 3rd, evening. Lottie and Harvey dating thread)

Lottie was nervous. Harvey just asked her to a date and they haven't been in one since her capture. While Harvey was getting himself ready, Lottie was preparing herself with what she had. She was lucky that roses was kind enough to allow Lottie to wear a sparkly pink dress Rose thought was too old. Lottie primmed her hair, did her makeup and looked her best so to impress Harvey. She was going to look like the best person ever for him, due to his kindness of making a date finally for her. Just the two of them. Together. At last. For so long she waited and even though she had her guilt due to some others not being able to date yet, she didn't let that damper her mood. She just put on perfume on when the knock on the door got her attention.

"Oh my land!" She gapsed, primming her hair a bit more before replying ever so sweetly "Come on in!"

[Harvey Finevoice]

Harvey walked nervously to her room. He'd wore his trademark tux and hat. He held a boquet of roses in his hand. They'd been together for awhile and gone on a couple dates. But each time it felt like the first one. He heard her voice and smiled as he opened the door. He walked in and smiled at her.

"I looked for flowers as beautiful as you but I couldn't find any. So I got you roses instead." said Harvey.

He grinned handing them to Lottie. She was gorgeous and took his breath away. Not literally of course. He didn't want to faint and spoil the moment.

[Charlotte "Lottie" Labouef]

"Oh Harvey. You're such a dear. I swear" Lottie said as Harvey walked in with roses. It made her night immediately to see him there, she could care less about the flowers but only loved them because it was from Harvey. He was such a gentlemen to her it wasn't even funny. She was so in love with him that every date was perfect in her eyes. She gasped with joy at the roses "Sugar! These are for me?!" She took them and smiled as she smelt them "They're lovely! Thank you darlin'" She kissed his cheek and found a vase to put them in. She would put the vase in her room some other time but for now she had to leave for her date. She held his hand and squeezed it, infatuated with every part of Harvey. She then giggled in joy "Where are you gonna take us too darlin'? Tell me unless you wanna surprise me don't tell me then!" She was smiling so much, she thought she might burst in joy.

[Harvey Finevoice]

Harvey smiled as she accepted the flowers.

"Your welcome." said Harvey.

He was always glad to make her happy. He smiled at her as she kissed him. He grinned at her. When she asked where they were going to go. He smiled.

"It's a surprise. One you're going to love." said Harvey.

He smiled as he took her hand and grinned.

"Are you ready to go?" asked Harvey.

[Charlotte "Lottie" Labouef]

Harvey's words made her wild with anticipation. The location of the date apparently was a surprise! A surprise that she herself would love! Of course she would since it was harvey but the blond girl felt compelled to be ever so curious to what it was. It was in her nature. Harvey, to her, was basically a prince who made desires of his princess come true. She held onto his hand slightly tighter and nodded profusely "Oh yes I am! I'm so excited dearie. I'm so excited I could burst. Let's get to the surprise before I go crazy!" She then began walking with Harvey and her heart pounded as she thought of what could possibly happen tonight. What was Harvey planning?

[Harvey Finevoice]

Harvey smiled at her.

"Then I want you to close your eyes." said Harvey.

He pulled out a blindfold putting it around her as he pulled out a device and pressed a button as they both vanished.

New Orleans:

The pair appeared in an alleyway as he smiled removing the blindfold as he smiled at her.

"You can open your eyes now." said Harvey.

They were standing next to a sign that said "Welcome to New Orleans." He was sure she'd love this surprise.

"Surprise! I knew you were homesick so I thought if I brought you here it would help." said Harvey.

Lottie was excited and allowed Harvey to blindfold her, still wondering what his plan was. She had a good feeling that it would shock her to the moon and back. As she heard a button she felt as if she was in a different place but she kept her eyes closed despite the fact the blindfold was on.

New Orleans

She opened her eyes right on Harvey's command after he released the blindfold and saw one of the greatest things ever. The sign said "Welcome To New Orleans" and she covered her mouth with her hands, muting her surprised gasp somewhat. As Harvey said he knew of her homesickness this was his surprise! Lottie's eyes watered up with pure joy and she screamed in happiness. She went to hug Harvey and gave him plenty of kisses on his face, this was the only thing she could do out of her surprise and joy. "Oh harvey! You made me the happiest person on earth! Thank you!" She kissed him some more and looked about "It may look different but it still has the feeling of home! Oh lands above Harvey, you know how to make a gal feel so special!"

[Harvey Finevoice]

Harvey grinned at her as she was happy. She hugged and kissed him and he smiled.

"I knew you liked it. I know you're new Orleans was set in the 1920's in a different world. So it may be a little different. But I figure it would help. I did some research and there are several restaurants here with good food here. So what are some of your favorite foods? I'm sure we could find something you like." said Harvey.

He wanted to make this date as happy and memorable as he could.

[Charlotte "Lottie" Labouef]

"That's perfectly fine. It's new orleans, therefore it's home! Harvey, you are the best!" Lottie said excitedly as Harvey spoke. She felt like heaven, her home as different as it was, was officially here! She and harvey could now go to whereever she felt like! Lottie then smiled and responded, cheeks grinning from ear to ear "The best foods I think they got here are definitely the gumbo and chicken. They are the bee's knees in my book. New orleans finds the best meats and fishes here darlin'" She then looked about the city, seeing people go around and she turned to Harvey and squealed "Oh harvey. I'm so excited I think I'll burst!"

Harvey grinned glad to see her in such high spirits. He smiled when she said the best food were gumbo and chicken.

"Then let's go. I'd love to try some New Orleans food. I trust your judgment." said Harvey.

He smiled. They began walking into town.

"Perhaps we can return for Mardi Gras. I know you were the princess of the parade. I feel honored to be with a princess." said Harvey.

He grinned bowing slightly and took her hand.

"Well Shall we go?" asked Harvey.

He grinned as they headed into town looking for a restaurant.

Lottie smiled as Harvey happily told her that he trusted her about New Orleans. She was so blissfully happy it was overiding her. She couldn't wait. Then as they walked on, she heard Harvey suggest going to Mardi Gras, knowing she was a princess many times then. Then he bowed and she blushed extensively "I'm honored to finally have my prince at long last. Of course we can go to the mardi gras parade together once it comes up" Once he got up she gave his cheek once more a joyful smooch. She took his arm when he offered it and they went to find the restaurants that had what Lottie was personally looking for. She looked left and right but at the moment saw nothing, though the setting was different it still felt like home and she smiled at it's wonderful setting.

Harvey grinned at her. He knew he was lucky to have her and he just hoped he could keep making her happy. It wasn't long before he found a restaurant and grinned. He walked in taking a seat as he grinned at her. A waiter come up with menus as he looked at them. He paused looking at Lottie.

"You got any suggestions? You're the New Orleans expert after all." said Harvey.

He grinned knowing he'd like anything she suggested. And it would be fun to try some new food.

Eventually the two went to a good-looking restuarant and she smiled too. As she took her seat, she kept playing in her mind of how fortunate and happy she was to have Harvey in her life. She felt grateful and joyful around him and enjoyed him around here. She saw the waiter give the two of them menus and she smiled in appreciation before Harvey asked his question. She looked at her own menu and grinned seeing one of her favorite things "I'd suggest the shrimp gumbo and cornbread sugar. That's my favorite. You'll love it" She was sure he would. The recipe was spicy yet filled you up just right and the cornbread was sweet to the spicyness of the gumbo.

Harvey smiled as he glanced at the menu and back at her. Hearing her suggestion he nodded.

"It sounds good to me." said Harvey.

A waitress came up and Harvey ordered what Lottie had suggested. Shrimp Gumbo and cornbread and he got a coke to go with it. He then waited for Lottie to order as he grinned. This was the happiest he'd seen her in a long time. Granted she was always happy when he was around but she was really happy today. He planned on bringing her back here as often as he could.

Lottie turned to the waiter and ordered the precise thing Harvey did but asked for a water, not feeling any need to get any drinks. She then saw the waiter write down their orders and go off to get them, she turned to harvey with a huge grin. She took his hnd and responded with her huge grin still on "I still can't believe you did this honey. You really made my day Harvey. I can't thank you enough" She then smiled and responded again "You really know how to make a woman feel special dearie. How can I ever thank you?"
