Spotted Past (Dark Heart, Insano)

[Dr. Insano]

Insano kept working and smiled as Penny told DarkHeart stories. It definitely worked seeing that her brain was more focused on listening to penny rather than protect itself from Insano's work on it. He listened also and seemed to like the fact the girl had a dog to talk to and hang around with.

DarkHeart chuckled as Penny told her story. It was short but the girl found it pretty amusing. She smiled once Penny finished and responded cheerfully "A amusing story Penny. I quite like this thunderbolt. Do tell me another. This thunderbolt seems like a very interesting character. I especially like the fact that he took down this joe person" She was definitely cheering up. Penny was just a adorable puppy, who could resist her charm?

[Penny]

Penny grinned as she was helping out.

"Thanks. That Joe was a mean one. A lot of Thunderbolt's enemies were people whoe escaped prison and tried to rob somewhere. Some of them escaped and even tried to take him out." said Penny.

She paused to catch her breath as she remembered a story.

"I remember another time he went after Joe. Thunderbolt was trailing Joe in the desert. He'd just robbed a train and Thunderbolt was trying to grab him. He had trailed him up a mountain and the bandit knocked some rocks onto him and Thunder was hurt. He looked dead. But he was just playing dead and he attacked the bandit which caused them to rolling the mountain and Thunder caught him. Joe was taken to jail after that. And Thunder was great. I'm glad I got to meet the real Thunderbolt. He wasn't as brave at first but Patch helped him see how brave he could really be. If it wasn't for Patch and Thunderbolt we would have been made into coats by Cruella and her henchmen for sure." said Penny.

She shuddered at that. She still hated that woman.

As Insano continued on with his work, DarkHeart listened on and on. She enjoyed the thunderbolt character and realized Patch was much more of a hero than he gave himself credit for. As much the story was good she came to understand and appreciate Patch's influence in the family he had more. The young robotic girl then caught Penny's expression for her distaste for Cruella. DarkHeart responded to that "Well Cruella will definitely not turn you into coats as long as I am also here. Your brother is quite the hero" She chuckled before responding "Oh and this thunderbolt is rather intriguing. It is rather nice to hear a story of a heroic animal" DarkHeart petted Penny's head "Thank you penny, you are making this much easier for me"

[Penny]

Penny smiled at her.

"Thank you. She hasn't tried to recently. She tried to kick us out of home. She wants the farm because it used to belong to her family. Even her family tried to help her a few times." said Penny.

She paused as she said Thunderbolt and Patch were heroes and Thunderbolt sounded intriguing. She grinned agreeing with her. She then smiled as Dark Heart petted her and said she was making it easier on her.

"Your welcome. Is Dr. Insano almost done? I'm worried about you." said Penny.

(ooc: i can't really think of any more stories so we could time skip to insano patching her up maybe and we could continue with just the two of them again if you want. Although kinda of running out of ideas for this thread unless you have some.)

(OCC: I was actually thinking of ending this. As much as I enjoy it, I'm running out of ideas too. So this post is my last. We can just end it with Insano finished up and DarkHeart happy and whatnot)

DarkHeart was apalled with Cruella's actions and growled "Then she will be a person of interest with me. Regardless of actions I will make sure she will not attack you. You do not worry about such things penny" She patted the pup and listened as she continued to see Insano work and hear the pup worry. "I am sure he is finished by this point. I feel quite better. Isn't that right Insano?" She then looked to the pup and picked her up as Insano finished. She then turned to Insano and responded "Many thanks Insano. I always can count on you" She then looked to her new pet "And you also Penny" She then proceeded to leave with Penny and go to another room to continue time with the pup. She was glad with Penny's company. Maybe she did deserve a pet after all

"Almost done penny. No worries" Insano assured, feeling slightly guilty for lying but more afraid of Facilier about it. Eventually he fixed the headache situation and saw the brain working fine enough, so he put the piece of DarkHeart's head back on and allowed her to pick up penny and get ready to leave. Her words affected him enough to smile forcefully "Anytime DarkHeart. I'm glad you count on me" The pressure upon him now was worse and he felt terrible. He had to get himself and DarkHeart along with a few others out of here, including his friend Mechakara. He hoped it would be ok but for now they were stuck here and DarkHeart was ignorant to everything except her new pet penny. As the two left, he sighed, hoping penny would be helpful to him somehow since she was more aware than DarkHeart was about the brainwashing.

[Penny]

Penny smiled listening to her.

"Thanks again. I just have a feeling most of the people here don't like Patch and me. And would toss us out or give us to Cruella if they had the chance." said Penny.

She smiled glad when Insano finished.

"I'm glad you're here Insano. So nothing bad can happen to Dark Heart and the others. She's my friend and I wouldn't want anything to happen to her." said Penny.

She smiled waving goodbye with one of her paws as she heads out with Dark Heart. The danger to Dark Heart was now over. Or so she thought.
