[Elisa/Maven Of The Eventide]

Elisa paused as she listened to him. He seemed to be silent for awhile before speaking again. She couldn't help but smile as she listened to him. He wanted her. To stay here with her and not go back.

"No one's offered to change their whole life for me. But there's no guarantee we'd work out. If we don't you should think about going back home. I mean I know you'd have other friends here but most of them will probably be sent back home hopefully." said Elisa.

She smiled at him.

"I'm glad you told me. I know we don't know each other but my feelings are real. I want to continue this. If we don't work out I at least want to know we tried." said Elisa.

She smiled kissing him on the cheek before taking a seat waiting for him to join her.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal didn't like the chance of not working out with Elisa. It seemed like a dark cloud hanging above the silver linings so to speak, but Elisa had a point. If they didn't work out than Hal himself wouldn't be entirely happy with his life in the modern world and would probably want to go back. At least in his king years. Those were pretty simple times. So he nodded at her words, taking them to consideration. Then she smiled and he smiled back, relieved that she believed him at least. It was good progress. He gladly accepted the kiss across his cheek and sat next to her. He awaited for the waiter and then responded "As do I Elisa. I am aware we have not known each other long but I feel that we could at least try a relationship. If it does not work out for us, than at least we have made a effort. I will be grateful for putting the effort in for a woman wonderful as yourself"

Elisa smiled as he spoke.

"Then let's take it one day at a time. If we stay together or break up that's in the future. Let's focus on the present. Live in the moment." said Elisa.

She did hope they stayed together but she didn't want to push it. After all there was no guarantee they'd both survive this war. Or what if he was sent back to his world with the others whether he wanted to or not. She sighed as a waiter came asking for their orders. She smiled ordering a salad, a sandwich, and a pepsi and let Henry order while she waited for them to be alone so they could speak again. She would enjoy herself on this date and hoped nothing interrupted it.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal nodded instantly and his gaze grew soft as he thought of only the present. He didn't want to make the date off by putting reality or the past into the place he was in now. He was with Elisa and it made Hal feel content. He enjoyed her company, he enjoyed Elisa herself. He loved her but her source of reality grounded him to take it slow and enjoy himself and her as they were. Hal's gaze looked up at the waiter who asked him and Elisa what they wished. Due to not knowing the place quite well he ordered a salad, some fish and a water(Unknowing what a soda was). He then looked over to see Elisa in some sort of contentment once more and felt it best to start what Gene called "The small talk". Hal stroked his beard to ease himself over the weight of the previous conversation and asked "Dearest. Tell me more about yourself and your place here. In return, if you wish, I will tell you even more about myself than you previously knew"

Elisa smiled as the waiter left taking their orders with them as she turned hearing Hal speak. She smiled before speaking.

"Well my favorite movie is Phantom of the Opera. I have tons of phantom films and memorabilia like toys and things. My favorite monsters are vampires. I reviewed one of the Phantom films with Paw. But I know reveal things about vampires. Books, movies, perfume, wine, and anything else related to vampires. It's such fun. Although I admit I was excited Myotismon's one of our enemies. Granted I know he'd kill me but it's so cool to finally see a real vampire close up." said Elisa.

She paused thinking of more stuff before continuing.

"My roommates are Nostalgia Chick and Nella. I help her review things on her review show sometimes. And I have a couple lookalikes. You've met Dr. Tease. The other one is The Makeover Fairy. I haven't seen much of her lately but I'm sure she's alright." said Elisa.

She paused and grinned.

"Now tell me something about you? Where you always royalty? Did you marry into it?" asked Elisa.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal had little idea over what movies were or what vampires were, hell he didn't even know what a reviewing show was but it was more information about Elisa and he would take it to consideration. Well he did understand some of things she explained, like her friends being Nostalgia Chick and Nella, and that Dr. Tease was a lookalike and not a twin like he once assumed. Maybe if he explained his story more maybe she herself would make it easier for him to understand what her life was. Then again, he wasn't specific before, just on his marriage and the fact he was once a royal. Speaking of which, Elisa asked about him and Hal did promise in exchange for information of her, he would lend information about him. He smirked at elisa's question of being married into royalty. It was more of a woman's obligation but it was never impossible for a man to marry into royalty, just not often. Besides, he didn't marry into it. Hal would explain this and he did so with a calm tone

"No. I did not marry into it but I was not always a royal either. I was born from my father Henry IV, who was a general and he won his kingliness by military rebellion and persuasion of defeating Richard II, one prince that many considered the dark one. Because of his bravery, he earned the crown and I would be heir to the throne due to being his son. I was a rebel as a teenager and my father did not approve of my actions during his time as a king, but perhaps his scolding is not unjustified, I was a bit self-asorbed to my own worries. I was so irresponsible, I did not know that my father was fighting againist Percy, a rebel from scotland who tried to repeat history that my father had made with Richard II. So once I learned this, I assisted him and defeated the rebels. However, my father grew sick and eventually the pain of his crown falled upon me as a king. I also had to deal with rebellion, because I wanted france in my command and the french refused. We fought and I won, but the true line of peace had to be made with a simple meeting and I wanted the leader of france's daughter as my queen. In exchange the france king would be given proper land-scape. I spent the rest of my years as a king back to england but... a illness overtook me and I died before I could see the fruitation of my labor" Hal sighed, rubbing his eyes with his hand to take in what he said. Hal then responded "I was resurrected and that is how I am here"

Elisa listened to him speak. His father was a general who became king through a rebellion and he inherited the throne from his father. She listened to his past and she could see he had come along way since his teen years. He took over France and married their princess to unite the kingdoms. And then he died as her eyes widened at that. He then said he was resurrected as he was brought here as she paused wiping tears away.

"You sound like you had some hard times but you pulled through. I'm sorry. I guess you can't go back now. You died in your world. I don't want to send you back to death. Or worse if you went back you couldn't explain why you were alive again. So I guess you're stuck here now. I guess that means more time for us then." said Elisa.

She grinned as she spoke those last words. She then realized he was technically no longer married to his wife since he had "died" in his world and been resurrected here. She would look forward to getting to know him.

[Henry V/Hal]

Elisa's compassion didn't go unnoticed, for a assuring smile came upon his face. He didn't want her to pity him, let alone cry for him, Hal already accepted his fate and did his own way of coping, by trying to move on and forget the past. Although he wished to return every once in a while, and although he felt a bit guilty for suddenly loving Elisa, he was content with his emotions and wouldn't change them. He was a committed man of his word and this was a example of it, by being as honest as he could. "Do not feel sorrow for me, dearest. Feel glad. For my fate has lead me to you, and I am fully content to get to know you as a person and much more" He said, sincerely, not cheerfully but honest as he could make it out to be. He was glad she didn't ask how he got resurrected, for fear she would reject him again because of it, but her smile appearing made him forget that sense of fear. It was replaced with a sort of fondness that he ever had only for Catherine. Although he made a similar connection that he pratically wasn't married anymore due to his death, it came a bit slower than Elisa's realization.

"Though I agree that it is hard to explain returning to life without being assumed as a demon.... Twas old times back then. We were a paranoid brood" He commented, with a hint of amusement. As he spoke, a waiter with both person's entrees and food choices was coming near them.

Elisa nodded.

"You're right. I'm glad you're here. And I'm honored you chose me since you're a former king after all." said Elisa.

She grinned as he spoke again.

"You're right. It'd be hard to explain but I guess you have a second chance at life. And I won't let anyone get to you. They'll have to go through me first." said Elisa.

She had just found him after all. No way would she let some creep take him away from her. Besides he deserved this second chance and they both deserved to be happy. She smiled as their food came as the conversation ended for the moment as they ate.

"This is delicious. Maybe we should come here more often." said Elisa.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal felt happy that Elisa felt honored to be chosen, but felt that it should've been the other way around. The former king let out a big grin at that and listened as Elisa spoke about that she was glad that he was here, that it would be difficult to explain if he ever went back, and that she wouldn't let anyone get him having to go through Elisa if they tried. That made him feel surprisingly humble, having a person determined to care for him as well as protect him, Hal felt it should've still be the other way around. After all, they just found each other and yet he felt like they were good star-crossed lovers. The waiter left and Hal saw Elisa began to eat, he quickly followed suit and nodded in agreement, making a pleasant sound as he ate his fish. "Indeed. This is delicious. This was Gene's choice to come here, I should thank him" He then responded with a chuckle "I feel strange with these types of foods though. Modern times are enjoyable but strange to me"

Elisa smiled at him as they ate. He seemed to be quiet for awhile before he spoke again about the food.

"Well Gene has excellent taste. Remind me to thank him as well." said Elisa.

She paused as he said this food and modern times were enjoyable but strange to him.

"You need some time and help to adjust to the modern world. Well we can all help you. There are many people here from different times. I guess we should help everyone. But perhaps we can have private lessons." said Elisa.

She grinned. It was just an excuse to spend more time with him but well she doubted she needed one. And she'd have fun teaching him about the modern era and he could talk to her more about his time.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal nodded to Elisa's request, continuing to quietly eat as she spoke. He then nodded as he realized he was not the only one who didn't understand modern times or what they represented. Elisa then came up with the idea of private lessons and even though Hal needed that, he liked it especially if Elisa was his teacher the majority of the time. He even commented after swallowing his food "Yes, I agree. I believe you would make a fine teacher for me. You know quite a lot of what is around us" He smiled softly, genuinely serious in complementing her. She was just so lovely. It was amazing to be in the same area as her.

Elisa grinned.

"I think I will. And you don't have to keep complimenting me all the time. You already have me. Although a few compliments from time to time wouldn't hurt." said Elisa.

She smiled as she kept eating. She was really enjoying his company. She wondered what else they could do today. She didn't want to go back and go back to the reality of this war. Maybe they could stay out for just a bit longer. Although she couldn't think of anything else to do at the moment.

[Henry V/Hal]

Hal didn't want to go back to the Critic's house, mostly because of the war, he enjoyed the quiet time with Elisa too much. He was especially not liking the fact that their food was pretty much done, or at least he was. He turned to see the waiter come and look over to Hal kindly. Hal smiled back as the waiter spoke "Moisour and madame, I believe you are here for the special reservation, so it is my pleasure to give you the free special dessert we have for the date reservation you made for us Mr. Plantaganet. It will arrive shortly" Hal was shocked to hear that they got a free dessert and was about to ask what it was but the waiter already left to go get it. Hal turned to Elisa and responded with a shocked grin "Well it appears the restaurant gave us a surprise due to gene's assistance to my "reservation""

Elisa paused looking up in surprise as the waiter said they still had a special free desert. She paused unsure. Nothing was free. But he was gone before she could ask any questions. She paused turning to him confused.

"But the only food they give away free is samples. A free desert sounds like a waste of money. Sounds fishy to me." said Elisa.

She didn't want to end up having it added to their bill or something. She was tempted to just leave even it'd seem rude. She glanced at the kitchen and back at Hal.

"What do you think? Should we stay? I don't want to end up paying for this free dessert." said Elisa.
