An Empty House

[Nostalgia Chick]

(February 7th. Set a couple hours after Taken. Open to everyone on Critic's army.)

Chick smiled as she walked back to the house chatting with Nella and Elisa.

"I'm so glad you're back. Now the three of us are together again." said Chick.

Elisa paused quieting her.

"Shhh. Do you hear that?" asked Elisa.

Nella stopped listening and shook her head.

"I don't hear anything." said Nella.

XXXX

"Exactly. No voices, nothing. Iheart, Lottie, and the others stayed behind. There should be...."

Her voice trailed off to see the front door wide open and a couple swords lying on the ground.

"No." said Elisa.

She rushed in with Chick and Nella rushing after her.

"Iheart, Lottie!" said Elisa.

Nella called out as well.

"Rachel, Nani, Chester!" said Nella.

Chick called out as they searched. She saw the back door open and the gate only seeing a sword lying on the porch.

"Ace, Queen Grimhilde, Freckles! Are you here?" asked Chick.

She frowned reuniting with the other two.

"There's no sign of them. They must have been kidnapped." said Chick.

She frowned slamming her fist into the wall.

"We shouldn't have left them behind. We should have taken them with us. Or had more of us stay here." said Chick.

Linksano walked to the house leading Mrs. Potts, Dr. Tease, Rogue, Marzgurl, Stone, Roses, Ma-Ti, Tender Heart, Jasmine, and Diablo back as the groups had left separately. They saw the open door as they rushed in reuniting with the trio.

"What happened here?" asked Marzgurl.

"The others have disappeared. They must have been kidnapped." said Chick.

A collective round of gasps soon followed as everyone began to worry about them.

"Wait. What about Morpheus and Maleficent?" asked Roses.

"Morpheus came with us to watch. And Maleficent well she's sealed off her room with magic again. I think we'd see more of a struggle if they tried to take her." said Elisa.

Stone paced trying to think.

"What are we going to do? We've lost Iheart, Rachel, Nani, Chester, Ace, Queen Grimhilde, Freckles, and Lottie. That's eight captives. And they still got Goggles under their control. Critic and the others aren't going to like this." said Stone.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Morpheus eventually catched up to the three women, for he was on their team but he was speechless and completely shocked. He saw the dropped swords and the empty house. This could only mean... No. Not Nani. Not her. It couldn't be. His heart sank and the worst part was Lilo herself was all alone too. Ironically enough Lilo catched up too, for Lilo was also with Morpheus to get to know him more. Lilo replied with tears beginning to form "Morpheus. Where's Nani?"

"I'm afraid.... I'm afraid she's been taken along with Lottie, IHeart, Chester, Ace, Freckles, The queen and rachel" Morpheus said, with a huge pain in his voice. His sadness turned into a quiet rage "They will pay for this"

Splinter was with his team elsewhere along with a few others, kiara was in Spoony's arms, Critic was holding Darla and both men along with Bambi, Tony Stark, Sherlock Holmes, 90's Kid and Cinema Snob. Critic was the first and he gasped "What happened?! Who broke in?!" He then caught a slight thread of conversation that kiddnapping took place. Critic growled "Damnit! They got to them!"

Darla widened her eyes, whining "Freckles! She's not here!" She started to whine louder and replied "Please. No. Don't tell me they took her too!" Darla was put down by the angered critic and sat on the floor, beginning to cry

Kiara allowed Spoony to put her down and Kiara saw Darla getting upset. Feeling bad for the puppy, Kiara ran over and hugged the dog. Kiara replied assuringly "Don't worry! We'll get them back! We just need a plan!"

Spoony turned to Kiara, glad for her support and comforting Darla. He then looked to Cinema Snob who was already banging his head againest the door wall. Spoony pulled him back and hissed to him "I know. We shouldn't have this happen but it did. Don't give up just yet" Spoony then turned to Linksano, Stark, Stone and Sherlock and replied "We should probably get started on the extra cameras we planned about"

Sherlock widened his eyes, taking the horror in. He then sighed rubbing his eyes "It is most likely that they will keep them alive. For exchange of ransom or something down that line. Trust me, I've handled a situation like this before" Sherlock went over to Chick and replied "Well it's obvious that we need to make more security, so to make sure this never happens again"

Tony stark frowned deeply. He couldn't believe it. The eight people in the house. All gone and there was nothing they could do. Tony sighed sadly "Great. Just great. We have yet more people to get. As if trying to get one wasn't enough" Tony then replied "We damn right will find a plan. Get started now is what I say. So we can make those douchebags pay"

Donny meanwhile was with Linksano's team and was taking this all in. He went over to his sensei and replied, with a look of pure sorrow and guilt "Sensei. What are we going to do? Those poor people. They could get hurt"

"I know donatello. We must allow the leaders to plan then we will use said plan. I am not sure as of this moment" Splinter was just as sorrowful and guilty. He had no idea what to do

"we can't just go there all pissed off and without plan" Bruce said now moving over to stand at Tonys side giving his science parter a concened glance at Tony's worlds "We need to think here" Bruce hands were glasped togther wringing them trying to settle his panic.

If Cadpig hadn't been upset before she was upset now. Rolly and Rainbow Dash and Edith have been trying for hours now for Cadpig to come out of her room. But, Cadpig was sooooooooooooooooooo upset. She couldn't even leave her room. She was crying so much and she didn't want to be around Darla right now. Simply because Darla was like her best friend and she couldn't let Darla see this.

Rolly and Rainbow and Edith walk up to Darla sadly. Rainbow Dash sat next to Kiara trying her best to be brave.

Rolly snuggles next to Darla and hugs her as tightly as he could. No one would ever take Darla from him, not as long as he had anything to say about it.

Ma-Ti meanwhile was frowning. Facilier now had access to Iheart even more of a reason for him to play along with his plans. Now he had to get that doll from Facilier as well as save Iheart and the others.

Nostalgia Chick shook her head.

"It doesn't matter how many security cameras we have here. Cameras can't protect them. Iheart's just a little girl. First she got hurt and now this. Her father.... how are we going to tell her father? He's going to freak out when he hears about this." said Nostalgia Chick.

Stone looked up seeing more of their army returning as he sighed. He heard Holmes and nodded.

"He's right Chick. More security will help. But it can't just be cameras. It's got to have an alarm. Maybe an indoor one so we don't alarm the neighbors. And something that could be relayed us like a page through our communicators. If we had a warning system set up we could have gotten back in time to stop them. At least maybe saved some of them if we couldn't save them all." said Stone.

Jasmine meanwhile was worried. First Patch had switched sides and now Queen Grimhilde was captive. Maleficent wouldn't like this.

"She has to know." said a voice in her head.

Jasmine turned seeing Diablo fly to her landing on her shoulder. He'd grown to trust Jasmine, Queen Grimhilde, and Patch as Maleficent's friends. Patch's betrayal had hurt him as well as Maleficent even if he barely knew the dog. He knew Maleficent wouldn't take the capture well but she had to know.

"Then let's go tell her." said Jasmine.

Diablo nodded flying off upstairs as Jasmine followed slipping away from the group. Soon they were upstairs as she knocked on the door.

"Maleficent, it's me Jasmine. Diablo's with me too. Are you awake?" asked Jasmine.

Linkara stormed in, annoyed after being beaten by Harvey at sword fighting. He stopped, and gasped at what the others were saying "What do you mean they've been taken? And by who? I mean, I know it's Ask That Guy, but still it would take a pretty powerful group to break into the house."

JO literally had to support Harvey when it was annouced what had happened "NO. No. Lottie. I let... I let her down." And he started to cry.

Critic first of course spoke to chick "Yeah. If we're lucky, he won't know but one way or another this has to be explained. IHeart told me that her dad knows that she's with me but doesn't know the war. And yeah, we need security but not just cameras" He then heard stone's suggestion and replied to him "Yeah. A indoor one without a doubt and maybe a alarm pager along with teleporters and comunicators, we can make the pager small enough to put in our pocket but loud enough for us to hear"

"I can work on the pagers Critic! I also know how to make a perfect alarm!" Donny said standing over to Linksano, Critic and Chick, he then looked at them beggingly "Please! I feel like I haven't done my part in this. I've only practiced and nothing more. I need to do at least something useful"

"It's fine Donny. Go ahead. Be sure to think of something" Critic replied. He then saw Linkara and replied to him calmly "They've definitely been taken by Ask Thatguy. Who else would want to come after us?" Critic then saw a huge black hole on the family room and replied "Oh god. The hostage team had weapons"

Spoony then noticed a small piece of paper lying on the coffee table. He walked over and adjusting his hair out of nervousness, read it. He frowned deeply at the taunting message

Hello Critic and Linkara, I have the eight captives described: Freckles, Nani, Lottie, The Queen, Ace, Rachel, The Bum and your precious friend IHeart. If you ever want them alive, you await to attack and you make sure to know who you're dealing with. With utmost sincerity, Vyce

"Linkara. You need to read this. Then give it to Critic" Spoony replied sternly. Showing him the note with a solumn face. Spoony then saw Ma-Ti and knowing of the relationship he had with IHeart, he walked over and replied kindly "Ma-Ti. I'm really sorry. We'll get her back. I care about her just as much as you do"

Sherlock saw Donny and grinned kindly "Do you? Wonderful. You can start as soon as we get things settled out" He then turned to Chick "I know IHeart is young but she's capable. I've seen it. She may have gotten hurt but she does have some strength"

Tony meanwhile spoke to Bruce, his voice had some annoyance in it, mostly out of spite from the other team getting the captives "You mean to tell me we can't plan while we're angry and can't attack? After what those scumbags just did? Bruce, they took a kid and they took innocent civilians. We're dealing with shit and we can't sit around"

Cinema Snob meanwhile, feeling more and more depressed from the news he heard, went over to JO and Harvey. Cinema snob tried to calm Harvey down by speaking comfort words "No you didn't. Those douchebags did. We'll get Lottie back. You can't give up now harvey"

Kiara allowed Darla to let her go to let Rolly take the reigns in comforting. After all, Rolly and Darla were very close. Kiara allowed some tears to flow from her own eyes but she turned to Rainbow and replied to the pegasus "What are we going to do Rainbow? I can't believe someone would do this"

Darla meanwhile looked to see Edith, Rolly, Rainbow and Kiara try to comfort her. She allowed Rolly to hug her and she hugged just as tightly. She sobbed in Rolly's chest and replied "It's all my fault. I should've stayed inside with Freckles. Poor freckles! I can't believe it poor freckles!"

Splinter saw the children getting completely upset, Darla in particular and went over to the two pups, pegasus and young child. Splinter responded calmly and assuringly "Children. Listen to me. Everything will turn out fine. I assure you we will make the people responsible suffer the punishment they rightfully deserve"

Morpheus meanwhile had Lilo's sobbing to deal with. Lilo was heartbroken, her big sister, the only family she had was kidnapped and possibly in risk of getting killed. Morpheus as much as he himself wanted to breakdown, knew lilo needed SOMEONE to comfort her. Morpheus picked up the young hawaiian and hugged her, shushing and assuring her. Morpheus then replied with a pain in his throat again "Perhaps we should take the young ones to a safer room so they can not hear anymore of this conversation. We cannot speak with crying children"

[Linkara]

Linkara frowned as Spoony passed him the note. He read it, trying not to cry at the knowledge that the group had been taken. And then he read the signiature.

Vyce...

"No." He whispered, handing the note to Critic and then collapsing into the sofa, eyes wide with horror and simply stared off into the distance.

"What happened?" Sarafina came in with her sad tone. Dark green orbs flashed and the lioness flicked her ears as she heard her allies saying about kidnapping and she added :"What? who kidnapped our allies? I swear if he will come again , I 'll pin that guy to the ground and slash him with my claw." Sarafina started sound like her daguther Nala.

Bruce frowns "i'm not saying you..we can't plan" he says looking his best friend in the eyes "which is why i plan to go out there myself and break in and bring them back" the man has his hands on the others shoulders now "well the other guy i mean" he gives Tony a sad smile "see now you don't have to plan anything" it was a try at a joke anything to lighten the mood.

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick nodded to Holmes and Stone knowing they'd been trying to cheer her up. She heard Donatello and nodded.

"So Donatello you work on the alarm. Linksano you start working on updating the security cameras then. Wait the security tapes." said Chick.

Linksano hears Morpheus's and paused. Elisa walked over to him.

"I'll stay here with Morpheus and look after them. I don't think he'd want to leave Lilo alone anyway. We can see the tapes later." said Elisa.

Linksano nods pressing a button as a portal appears in front of him.

"Quickest way to my lab. If you're coming let's go. The security system's up there." said Linksano.

He walks stepping through the portal vanishing. Nostalgia Chick, Nella, Tender Heart, Roses, Marzgurl, Mrs. Potts, Dr. Tease, and Rogue followed him through the portal into the lab.

Ma-Ti paused turning to Spoony and frowned.

"First They took Goggles now Iheart. What if they brainwash her too or worse? If something happens to her because I wasn't here to protect her I'd never forgive myself." said Ma-Ti.

He paused as Linksano activated a portal as he stepped through next.

Elisa turns glancing at the kids animals and humans sharing a worried look with Morpheus before smiling.

"Come on. Who wants ice cream? Or some steaks?" asked Elisa.

She knew this would only cheer them up for a little bit if they were lucky. But ice cream always made her feel better when she was sad. Although she knew the dogs couldn't eat ice cream but she could whip up some of their favorite foods like steaks if they wanted it.

In Linksan's lab the portal appeared as Linksano walked out and began operating the security system to play back the footage of the villains capturing their friends. Soon Chick and the rest who followed her began to appear out of the portal.

Chick glanced around in amazement.

"Wow. I haven't been up here at all. This is impressive." said Chick.

Roses nodded in agreement.

"It sure is. How fast can you pull up the footage?" asked Roses.

Dr. Tease glanced around in amazement at the labratory. She had only been here a couple times she she got here. She would enjoy working here very much. She walked over joining Linksano to help him pull up the footage they needed.

Rogue, Mrs. Potts, Marzgurl, Nella, and Tender Heart remained silent marveling at the lab while waiting for Critic and the others to step through the portal so they could begin looking at the footage.

[Tony Stark/Iron Man]

Tony paused. Bullshit. Like hell he would let Hulk go by himself. He was now aware that if neither of the two thought straight, hell would turn over. Tony replied calmly "You know. When you said we can't go out there by ourselves being a bad idea? You're right. I really think you should stay here with me. If you don't go out by yourself, I won't go out by myself, deal?" Then a portal came and trying to make bruce come with him and not go with his planm Tony walked quickly into the portal, slightly after Ma-Ti.

When in the lab. He crossed his arms amused. He's been here a lot since he got here, and either with bruce or Linksano

Spoony nodded but before he could respond to Ma-Ti, the boy quickly left to the portal that lead to the lab. Spoony then spoke to Cinema Snob and Critic "Guys. We're in deep shit. Most of the captives have close bonds with people. The captive team knew who they were taking"

"Yep. Which makes it harder on us" Cinema Snob sighed.

"We'll look at the footage of the capture. Linksano's updating the cameras while Donny makes the alarm and pagers. We're getting there but not enough" Critic said, frustrated. Critic then saw the portal and replied, seeing Harvey heartbroken and Linkara in a state of no-one-needs-me. Critic replied "Spoony, help Linkara and harvey out. Cinema Snob, come on" Cinema snob nodded and followed Critic to the lab immediately.

Spoony meanwhile went to Linkara and sat next to the man. Spoony replied to Linkara calmly "Hey... Linkara? I know that this seems really bad but we gotta pull through" He was not really the best when comforting under pressure but he had to try. He looked to JO for help with Harvey and getting him to the portal.

Darla, Kiara and Lilo all looked up to Elisa. Kiara quickly nodded and replied "Steak sounds good! What about it guys?"

Lilo looked up to Morpheus, who was holding a hand behind her back now if she needed a hug again. Then she looked to Elisa, and she didn't want to be the party pooper per-se. She nodded sadly and replied with a depressed frown "Chocolate sounds awesome right now" She then looked to edith and replied to her "Hi edith"

Darla whined loudly and hugged Rolly some more. She didn't feel like eating. At all. She felt like wallowing in her own pity. She felt too hurt to eat.

the last thing Bruce wanted was Tony hurt so with a sigh he fallowed Tony into the portal. "I won't go if you don't want me to" Bruce said with a smile as he stands next to Tony in the lab.

JO nodded at Spoony, and then she gently poked Harvey in the ribs "Look, we're going to find Lottie on the cameras. Come on then." Harvey looked up, his face tear stained, and nodded, the two stepped into the portal.

Linkara almost didn't react to what Spoony said. For a moment he didn't say anything. Then he sighed and got up "Listen, if I... do anything really embarassing in the next few days, then understand this has hit me. Vyce is.... a foe." He looked to the ground "I going to have a stiff drink when this is over."

[Tony Stark/Iron Man]

As Critic, Donatello, Sherlock Holmes, Cinema Snob and Splinter awaited Linksano's information. Tony meanwhile turned to Bruce with a smirk and a softhearted demeanor "Thanks. The last thing I want is you getting yourself into a situation where I can't help you"

Darla, Kiara, Lilo and Morpheus went near Elisa and the other children. Morpheus smiled softly as Lilo commented she wanted chocolate ice cream. Morpheus turned to Elisa and replied "I can go get the ice cream and steak while you help the children" Then he left to the kitchen

Spoony smiled to JO silently thanking her for encouraging the heartbroken singer. Spoony would take more time to empathize with Harvey but his best friend was talking to him. Spoony paled as Vyce was mentioned as a personal enemy of linkara. This was like Mechakara taking the captives. Vyce wasn't doing it just because of the heroes, although it would be a normal reason, he did it to spite linkara. He sighed a bit before patting Linkara on the shoulder "Hey. I'll find you jack daniels. Heard you liked that. Come on. Vyce won't get away with it"

Spoony walked to the portal but slowed his pace for the sake of his friend following him.
