Why did you pick him/her?: She's one of my favorite villainesses and the first Power Ranger villain.

History:
Rita's army fought Zordon's army over Earth. Zordon and Rita fought in a duel and Zordon won. Rita and Zordon blasted each other at the same time. Zordon was imprisoned in another dimension and later reconnected in the Command Center on Earth through an energy tube. Scorpina was imprisoned earlier separately while Rita and her army of Goldar, Finster, Baboo, and Squatt were pulled into dumpster.
10,000 years later Rita Repulsa was freed by two astronauts. She assembled her army and planned to attack Earth. Zordon assembled a team of rangers to stop her. She soon attacked them but failed every time. She finally summoned her own evil Power Ranger, recruting Tommy Oliver as her evil green ranger. She got Jason separated from the others and Tommy nearly helped her destroyed the rangers. But they eventually broke the spell on him. In retribution she activated the Green Candle that began draining his powers. The rangers tried in vain to get the Green Candle but failed. But they saved Tommy's powers by giving them to Jason. Later Tommy's powers were restored to him and recharged by a forcefield that were keeping the other power coins Rita had stolen from the rangers.
Rita tried her best but kept failing and was soon replaced by Lord Zedd. He shrunk her down, and imprisoned her in a small dumpster sending her into space. She later returned finding Tommy had switched colors from Green to White. But the rangers imprisoned her back in her dumpster and sent her into space. A few months later she returned to the palace and with help from Finster cast a love spell on Zedd. She then set her plan in motion imprisoning the rangers in a theather that blocked most of their powers, turning Alpha evil, and sending Zordon into another dimension. She married Lord Zedd, and revealed her plan as a wedding present to him. But the rangers escaped. The first time Alpha teleported them right back in, but the second they returned Alpha to normal and brought back Zordon. They then defeated the monster army Rita and Zedd sent down.
Despite being married and regaining her size and power the two failed to defeat the rangers until her brother Rito showed up. He along with a monster army destroyed the Thunderzords along with their powers. The rangers however went on a quest to Phaedos and got new ninja powers and zords. Rita soon turned a new girl Katherine evil. She stole Kimberly's power coin and the Falconzord which allowed Zedd and Rita to capture Ninjor as well. She later helped capture Kimberly. Her spell eventually broke as she helped Kimberly get to a hospital after she fell from a balance beam. She revealed everything to Kim and the other rangers about being Rita's servant. Rita eventually captured her planning to send her and Ninjor to the Sea of Sorrows. But was furious to find the girl escaped with the Pink Power Coin. Kat and Tommy later returned stealing the Falconzord and Zeo Crystal from Rita and Zedd. Ninjor later escaped himself and the rangers even stole the Shogunzords from Rita and Zedd's control as well.
After Rita's father rewound time and fled being beaten by the Alien Rangers, Rita and Zedd stole the ninja coins from the ex-rangers who were now kids. Then destroyed the coins. Later the rangers went on a quest for the zeo crystals and restored the planet and their powers. Rita sent Goldar and Rito to steal the crystal and blow up the Command Center. They blew it up, but dropped the crystal and lost their memories in the confusion. Rita and Zedd were forced to flee as the Machines arrived.
They later returned restoring Goldar and Rito's memories and enlisting them back into their army. They created Louie Kaboom to try to take over the Machine Empire but in the end Louie found the remote and destroyed it. Louie was eventually destroyed by the rangers. Rita along with Zedd ordered Finster to send in the other rangers to rescue a captured Jason and brainwashed Tommy. They finally tried to claim Jason's golden zeo powers but ended up in a fight with the Machine Empire allowing Jason to escape.
After Jason returned Trey's powers to him and they injured Mondo, Rita and Zedd blew up the Machine Empire with a "gift". They later when on a honeymoon while Divatox attacked the Earth. They were later called to the Samaritan planet by Dark Specter who announced he captured Zordon. Rita has a rivalry with Divatox and Astronema as well as the Machines as they all want to be the best. Rita tried along with Divatox to go after the Red Space Ranger who came in disguise. But Dark Specter sent Astronema instead. Rita, Zedd, and the rest of her army were sent back to the palace on the moon. Rita longed for the days she was in charge attacking Earth and suddenly found herself on Earth deciding to join Ask That Guy's group.
