An Unsettling Revelation

Linkara gave a sheepish grin to Splinter before turning back to the Critic "While I do think we should leave her, I'll go and talk to her. I think she'd like Roses more than me, so can you come with me and give her a talk?" While Roses and him weren't well aquainted, he did trust her to help the chick out.

"Critic you just get your rest and get better. We'll go check on Chick." said Roses.

She smiled at him trying to reassure him before she walked outside knowing Linkara would follow her.

Linksano turned hearing Maleficent and Morpheus and nodded.

"These are badges. They act just like the communicators but they're worn on your clothes. But these would be more likely to get knocked off or damaged in a fight. Plus they'd attract attention. While the communicators can pass for watches. But if you want one of these you can put them in a pocket as a backup." said Linksano.

"I'll pass. I think I'd just lose it somewhere." said Nani.

"And my clothes don't have pockets." said Jasmine, examining her dress.

"That's alright. Only take them if you want to. They're just extras." said Linksano.

He takes one and places it in his coat pocket.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Critic nodded and just laid back. He was admittedly very tired. The fight took a lot outta him. He only hoped the wounds would not scar him then he'd really not forgive himself. He really knew the fact he almost died.

Splinter just began observing Critic. He was glad the human now was calm. He looked to Linksano and took a badge as well as a talking device. He replied "This shall be very helpful indeed"

Morpheus took a extra and put it in his pocket. He then just took a seat and waited for anyone to start chatting. Snob was still silent as well

[Linkara]

Linkara took the badge and ran outside after the Chcik. "Where are you, Nostalgia Chick?" She was outside the house, he hoped that Roses was behind him, he needed some help.

He spotted her and walked over to her. He didn't really know how to comfort her but he gave it a shot "Come on Chick, I know what he did was stupid, but it's unlikely he'll do it again" Wow, he sucked at making motivational speeches.

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick turned to see Linkara smiling weakly.

"You can't really promise that can you. He nearly died today. And I- we weren't there to help him." said Chick.

Roses joined the group smiling at Chick to try to reassure her.

"Chick. You had the entire group with you last time. Critic had Ma-ti's ring. That was the only thing that eventually stopped Malachite. Numbers wouldn't have made a difference. And I doubt Critic would run from a battle. He would most likely want to get revenge for Ma-ti's death and I can't really blame him for that." said Roses.

Chick turned to Roses smiling glad to see another familiar face. As she spoke she reluctantly nodded. She was right. Even if the entire army had gone with Critic that day only Maleficent probably would have stood a chance against Malachite. Finding that ring had saved Critic's life first at the battle and then here when Chick had used it to clam Critic. She glanced at the ring on her finger.

"Let's watch some tv. I'm sure there must be something good on." said Nani.

She turned it on revealing the local news already in progress.

"Someone heard what sounded like sword fighting. And then there was a loud explosion and then voices. An eyewitness says they say a small group of people take someone from this alley." said the reporter.

She turns to an old woman standing next to her.

"Yes. I was just about to go to sleep when i heard noises. At first I thought it was some neighborhood kids playing or pulling a prank. But when I heard the explosion I rushed out. I saw a woman and two men carry someone away. I didn't hear what they said though." said the woman.

Nani's face paled. If this had hit the local news how exactly were they going to keep this war a secret. She turned to the group nervously watching them.

"If this has hit the news then people are going to get suspicious. Cops and reporters are bound to be looking everywhere for the source of this story." said Nani.

Jasmine had the same reaction watching in shock. As Nani spoke she nodded.

"She's right. We need some sort of plan to keep this fight out of the news somehow." said Jasmine.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Critic looked worried now. They had to be more careful now. He looked to his team "This battle will have to go to the deepest part of the forest maybe. It can happen but the other team will have to know about it" He looked to his second-in-comand and replied "Snob. I clearly can't fight. You're in charge of the battle tommorow but we knew that anyway"

Snob smiled friendly to Critic. Now that Snob thought about it, Critic wasn't such a jerk as he once thought. He then looked and replied "Hey! Listen!" He breathed a bit relieved at the next part of the report

"It is unknown but there were no other witnesses to this. So the old woman's claim to the police have been ignored. Until further notice no police and armies shall come over to this quick and strange event"

"Well they may not believe her but we still are gonna be careful" Snob commented

Morpheus breathed too. He was nervous. Well mostly because the last thing he wanted was to bring unwanted attention to innocent bystanders or the police. From the sound of it, police wasn't a good thing to have

[Spoony]

(OCC: I want this enterance to be dramatic and awesome so only I'll type as Spoony and no one else of my characters. Warning: The following is me being a fanspaz for Spoony's awesomeness)

Well. It seemed only like yesterday he was to this house for some free car. Now he was here because of constant messaging from Pushing up roses. At first Spoony didn't listen but now that she was pratically begging for him to help, he couldn't really refuse to a woman, his friendly rival no less. On top of that, Insano had made a rude call to him just a couple of days ago that also convinced him to come. If anything, Critic should at least give him the pleasure of kicking that science loving ass of his. Spoony walked to the door with a slight annoyed scoff but then heard Chick yelling at critic about.... Getting hurt? That was new

"Huh. I guess the so-called war is making Chick kinda horny. Chick's a macrochist. Who knew?" Spoony sarcastically remarked then he breathed. Maybe, this all was a real thing. As much as he knew, Roses besides Linkara were completely trustworthy. So with his head held high he opened the door and in the middle of everything he saw Critic on the couch severely injured, a talking rat, a couple of animated(strangely hot) women, a real live hot woman, the mistress of all evil from disney, a black man, Snob, Linkara, Chick and of course pushing up roses

He wanted to know what the hell was wrong. Or better yet, what the hell happened. It seemed it was a rather random topic since he just got here so he decided to make people pleased he actually arrived. With a soft smile he asked "Hey folks, am I interupting something?"

[Linkara]

Linkara had heard the door slam and had expected to see one of the other cartoon characters. But to his surprise it was one of his best friends on the site. The Spoony One had come to join them! He walked up to him and grinned "Spoony! See you got here in time to help us. Listen.." he steered him away from the group in order to explain "long story about all this, I'll fill ya in later. I must say, you taking this a lot better than I did. Nearly had a heart attack." Linkara was talking rather fast, since seeing him was making him worry that all the nervous tension was getting to him.

[Pushing Up Roses]

Chick had now calmed down and had returned inside hearing part of the broadcast. But then Spoony she smiled. She was glad to see another friend here. But worried how he'd react to Malachite being back.

"Hey Spoony. Glad to see you finally decided to come." said Nostalgia Chick.

Roses was glad Chick had settled down a bit but was distracted as Spoony arrived. She smiled at seeing him. Hopefully Paw and other reviewers would soon follow.

"Spoony. Why didn't you let us know you were coming? We could have picked you up from the airport." said Roses.

Linksano turned seeing the new arrival.

"Ah Spoony! I'm glad to finally meet you. Welcome!" said Linksano.

Nani turned smiling at him. She heard them all call him Spoony.

"Welcome to our group. It's nice to meet you." said Nani.

Jasmine smiled at the new arrival. She was glad to have more help especially with Critic hurt. He probably wouldn't fight for awhile.

"Hello." said Jasmine.

[Spoony]

At first Spoony frowned at the fact things needed to be explained LATER. Nevertheless he had a better question: What happened to Critic? So frankly that question should've been answered a tad more than who the other people were. He nodded and replied "How the movie characters and such I can definitely wait for man. No worries, trust me. I've seen worse" He gave a smile to Chick in greeting seeing she was calming down over something. Roses' question though he stated calmly "I kinda got a rather unpleasant message from Dr. Douche again. So I couldn't really call and had to pack up quickly and be on the road. On top of that, it was hard to give the intructions to my mom and dad on how Burton is supposed to be taken care of" Then he smiled to the new allies and replied "Well hello yourselves" Linksano though he gave a bit of a wave seeing that Linkara and him were now allies "Thanks. Nice to meet you too Linksano. Linkara mentioned you a couple of times"

"Now. If I have any decency to ask since all of you are so happy to see me, what the fuck happened to you critic?" Spoony replied. He knew that the question was forced out more than needed but he had the curiousity ripping his soul at the moment

"Got in a fight" Snob replied unsure of how exactly to say how Critic got hurt. He looked over to Critic then back to Spoony. Admittedly, Snob was just as glad as anyone. Spoony was a popular ally and was always a handy person for anything even the dirtiest of movies.

"Yeah, from an old enemy" Critic replied regretfully and he was about to move a tad but his bones weren't agreeing and noticably it made a cracking sound and he made a loud hiss in pain. Splinter gave a small welcome glance to Spoony before helping Critic turn his body so he could be more comfortable

"Wait. What? What old enemy? I don't think I'm in a position for riddles" Spoony remarked impatiently

[Linkara]

Linkara sighed. He hated to be the bearer of bad news, but he had to explain to Spoony that this was something serious "It's Malachite. He's back, and may not have the Gauntlet but nearly killed the Critic. If he hadn't have found the ring, he most properly be in a worse state than he is now" Linkara frowned "And he's got quite a few of our enemies on his side. Askthatguy, Insano, Dr Smith, Dark Nella." He really hoped that Spoony believed him and this wasn't all just a big prank.

[Spoony]

Spoony widened his eyes. Malachite returned? Impossible but then again it would definitely explain how Critic was in the condition he was in now. Looking to Linkara then to Critic then to Linkara again he closed his eyes and replied almost dramatically "He's back... There is nothing more than the pure shock from that alone" He opened his eyes again and let out a pure sigh before speaking again this time with a bit of annoyance "Insano I get, he's already a nutbar. Ask Thatguy from what I've seen is fucked up too but the others I never even heard of"

Spoony then looked to his old friend linkara again and replied "We're pretty much fucked so far aren't we? I guess I entered at the right time"

"Understatement of the freakin' week" Snob replied, rubbing his eyes with his hand, annoyed at the bad luck the team had. He then replied "We have a big battle in a couple of days spoony. You're gonna have to replace critic"

"Wait! Spoony wasn't for the training sessions how the hell will he know how to fight?" Critic objected. Little did the all talk-no think critic know was that in past episodes, Spoony was evident for knowing tons of weaponry as well as physical combat.

Spoony smirked "That's why I got myself this and took a DVD on how to do martial arts" He then whipped out from his pants one of his many guns. It was medium size so it was a wonder where he got it but since this was a war and people were desperate it was a calming sign to see Spoony came prepared

[Linkara]

A weird smile ran over Linkara's face as he looked at the weapon. Askthatguy may have had magic users on his side but they had f*ckin guns. That was awesome. Then he remebered something "You'll get a chance to use it Spoony and soon. We've got that battle tomorrow and that would be a lot of use."

[Spoony]

"Really? Already. Jesus, I was later to the party than I thought" Spoony jokingly replied, grinning as he showed his huge gun. Looking to roses then to Chick then to Critic and snob he replied "Regardless of what we have to do. I'll be there man, I've got a score to settle with that madman scientist" Damn right Spoony did. Insano has been a pain in his ass for countless years. He was sick of that man and wanted revenge. In more ways than one

[Nostalgia Chick]

Roses glanced at the gun he pulled out.

"How did you get that through the airport security? Or did you drive here?" asked Roses.

Nostalgia Chick saw the gun and smiled glad Spoony was prepared. She glanced at Critic and frowned. They hadn't destroyed all the bugs and the tiny robots left behind to attack them. But still Malachite had known when to attack Critic. She glanced at the others worriedly.

"Do you think Dr. Facilier or Rita has a way of spying on us magically? Like a crystal ball or something? Cause we got rid of the bugs and it seems way too convenient Malachite attacked the only night Critic was alone." said Nostalgia Chick.

"Rita had a telescope on the show. She might have brought it with her. But I think Dr. Facilier has shadow magic. Which means shadows could be spying on us even our own." said Linksano.

He paused glancing down worriedly at his shadow.
