Put Your Mind At Ease

[Ma-Ti]

(January 17th Evening. Open to Ma-Ti, Facilier, Black Lantern Spoony, & Goggles. *Update- Now open to all of Critic's army.)

Ma-Ti walked out sighing as he walked down the streets. He'd surprised himself by remembering minor things but not enough to matter at least to him. He was lost in his thoughts that when he looked up he realized he'd gotten himself completely lost.

"If I had my memories I'd at least know the way home. I shouldn't have gone so far." said Ma-Ti annoyed at himself.

He turned around deciding to go back the same way only to come to a four way intersection and he had no idea which way to go.

"Maybe I need some help. But who could I ask out here?" asked Ma-Ti.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Stay here until the time is right understand?" Dr. Facilier commanded quietly to someone in behind the tree. His accomplice, Black Lantern Spoony, smirked sarcastically but nodded. Putting on a dark purple robe to disguise himself, Dr. Facilier went behind Ma-Ti.

"Well, well young man. You seem to be lost. Where ya off to in such a hurry?" Facilier replied not showing his face but enough to show his eyes. He looked to Ma-ti and asked afterwards "Ya'll look glum. Why?"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti turned seeing a stranger had come up to him. He smiled and greeted the man. He seemed friendly enough and if there was trouble he could always run away.

"I got hurt and lost my memory a couple days ago. I've tried to jog it and remembered a couple things. I thought I could walk around for a bit to clear my head and I've ended up lost. You don't happen to know how to get back to the suburb side of town do you?" asked Ma-Ti.

He was sure he could find his way back from there. Hopefully this man could help him find his way back. He was curious to why he hid his face but he shrugged it over guessing the man might be cold.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Actually I was on my way to the suburbs. Perhaps we should join together. After all I need company and you need help getting home. Call it a win win" Facilier smirked under his cloak. It was quickly working. He successfully gotten Ma-ti to talk to him. The bribe was soon to follow after. Black Lantern Spoony meanwhile observed from afar, and he too smirked, soon he would have HIS part of the bargin.

"Lost your memory you say? Like amnesia type lose your memory?" Facilier made a click of his tounge giving out sympathy "Shame. I bet you have so many friends that worry about your memory. Have they successfully helped you get it back?"

[Ma-Ti]

"Thank you for helping me. I'm Ma-Ti or at least that's what I was told." said Ma-Ti.

He smiled glad to have some company as well. And be with someone who didn't know him and he could relax a bit better. He turned to Facilier as he spoke again.

"Yes. I'm afraid so. I'm staying with some people who are trying to help. But I don't know them so I'm not sure if I could call them friends. But I got a memory once and awhile but it wasn't anything too important." said Ma-Ti.

(ooc: I just realized the title really fits. I just used it cause it was in Facilier's song and Facilier's making a deal to restore Ma-Ti's memories. Ironic yet funny title. xd)

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: Agreed. The title has a strong sense of irony I nearly laughed when I saw it XD)

"What a shame son. I really think your friends are telling the truth. What do I know I'm just a sorcerer" He very strongly implied his word "sorcerer" so Ma-Ti could hear it loud and clear, probably even ask what he could do. He smiled and replied "I've heard some other dude named Ma-Ti he attacked some villains yonder to save someone I suppose"

"Well I've heard many people like me can bring people's stuff back. Like friends, family, toys, memories" He said that sentence quickly so Ma-Ti could ask if he heard it correctly. Facilier wanted to play this game well enough for Ma-Ti to foolishly agree with his plans

[Ma-Ti]

"You're a sorcerer?" asked Ma-Ti surprised by that.

He listened as Facilier talked hearing he could give people things they lost..

"You could really do that? Restore my memories? I could be myself again and finally remember who my friends are. Then I wouldn't have to worry about hurting them again." said Ma-Ti.

(ooc: If he only knew. xd)

[Dr. Facilier]

(OCC: "Ah what a wonderful web we weave" Said the spider after he ate the fly XD)

Facilier grinned deeply, seeing his other ally watch still. Now was the time to convince Ma-Ti to accept, the deal would be told soon after, he just needed to advertise to the boy. Turning again he showed his face only slightly but replied "Well I believe I can son. I can make you remember everything, your name, your life, your friends"

He then gave a very friendly reminder as if he was teasing him "Even that pretty lil kitty IHeart"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti smiled glad he had a chance of restoring his memories.

"How does it work? You cast a spell or I drink a potion?" asked Ma-Ti.

He stopped as he mentioned Iheart and he stepped backwards a step confused.

"Wait a minute. How do you know Iheart?" asked Ma-Ti curiously.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Well when it comes to magicans they have a ability to predict everything. They tend to know random people. I only didn't know you due to something in my magic gone wry. Happens all the time" The lie he just made went as quickly as if it was a typical discussion. Facilier went back to a playful demeanor asking "Why? Does that name mean more to you than other names?"

"Again. If you're not sure or remember I'm willing to help. The memories help with this" He showed the star ring and waited for ma-ti to ask what it did. Black Lantern Spoony very softly chuckled at the sight of it

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti nodded.

"So you can see things? Like into the future?" asked Ma-Ti.

He smiled glad Facilier could help him.

"She's a friend. Someone I like a bit more. But what if she has a boyfriend or doesn't like me that way? I don't want to make a fool of myself especially without my memories." said Ma-Ti.

He glanced at the ring curiously.

"What's that?" asked Ma-Ti.

[Dr. Facilier]

"Aww. I think you have a shot with her. That's probably the future talking again. Yeah like you said I know the future, along with the past and the present so getting memories will be a sinch" With that statement he answered Ma-Ti's next question

"This little thing is called a Star Saphirre. It gives out memories by simply handing it over to someone. You simply let a person where it, they get a nice present while you get your memory back entirely. Simple as that" He smiled again, letting Ma-Ti just pour into his little trap

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti smiled hearing he had a future with Iheart. But he wasn't certain he wanted to give the ring to her just yet. He'd prefer to give her something after he got his memories back.

"But who should I give it too? Is it meant for someone? Or can I give it to anyone?" asked Ma-Ti.

He didn't know a lot about magic but he figured it must be done right to work.

[Dr. Facilier]

Facilier felt the plan working perfectly "Well, I need you to give this to another friend of yours. the future predicts something will happen to her if this ring doesn't be given. It's not for your little friend sorry to say but it is for another"

He felt Black Lantern spoony smile as he said his next word "Goggles"

[Ma-Ti]

Ma-Ti smiled glad he knew who to give it to. He frowned hearing something might happen to her without it.

"So this ring will keep Goggles safe? Of course I'll give it to her. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her." said Ma-Ti.

(ooc: I figure Insano, BLS, or Facilier created a small box to put the ring in so no one else accidentally became a Star Sapphire. xd)
