War Damage

[Linkara]

Linkara staggered back up again, wiping the mud (at least he hoped it was mud) off his face. Watching IHeart dodge and weave, he put on a fake pouting face, childishly sulking. THen he grinned and began dodging behind the trees and put on a burst of speed.

[IHeart]

Uh oh

IHeart had to admit she did not see that coming. Looking to see Linkara very close to her, made her almost jump in surprise and stop. She smirked though and went even faster but due to being so tired it only caused her to go at least a few inches away than she was. She hoped to god that she wouldn't trip or slip. She was having too much fun

[Linkara]

Linkara ran a few paces forward and lightly tapped her on the back "Your turn Flash." He sniggered and ran back dodging the trees and looking out for IHeart coming after him. The pale pastry faced comic book nerd hadnt had this much fun in a long time.

[IHeart]

"Nuts!" IHeart laughed before looking for a way to get linkara faster than just chasing him. She decided to act stealthy. Seeing Linkara going near the trees, she ran sideways of him so she could eventually go in front of him and simply touch him. She made sure though she ran fast enough so he wouldn't see it coming. She hoped she wouldn't laugh, she was having so much fun but she didn't want to give herself away

[Linkara]

Linkara grinend as he looked back and saw Iheart not behind him. "Hah! Eat my dust, IHeart!" He grinned and turned around. "Woah!!!" Iheart was catching up in front of him, so he quickly rolled and changed direction, running in a semi circle. It started to wear out the body of the comic book guy as he slowed down for a moment.

[IHeart]

"Pile on!" IHeart shouted as she successfully was drawn closer and closer to Linkara. Suddenly without a doubt she gently but forcefully piled onto Linkara's body and fell into the dirt beside him. She looked at Linkara to check on him

(OCC: It would be hilarious if linkara just stared at her a bit then laugh hard)

[Linkara]

For a moment, Linkara stared at one of his best friends for exactly one minute. Then a giggle escaped his laugh, and then he burst out into hysterical laughter. He didn't stop laughing when he struggled back up. Eventually he managed to get it under control for one second as he sniggered "Well, it's official, I'm making this a regular occurence." before snickering again.

[IHeart]

IHeart couldn't help but laugh herself. Linkara's laugh was very contagious. She almost lost breathing when she did. She then got up herself and replied "Yeah. We need fun like that in our lives more often. That was awesome" She smiled happily. She finally had the oppotunity to have some fun times again. It was a start

[Linkara]

Linkara smirked as he sat up. He promptly pulled his hat from underneath him and popped it back up. He nodded "Yeah, I want to do this all the time." He sighed and watched as the sun was starting to go down.

[IHeart]

IHeart couldn't help herself. She just scootched over to Linkara and tightly hugged him. She then began laughing and said "Best tag game ever!" She then laughed while still hugging her friend

[Linkara]

Linkara responded to the hug by hugging IHeart back as hard as he could without hurting her "Definitely. We should so due that again." Linkara grinned and let the moments tick by without saying anything.

[IHeart]

"Heh. Yeah. Only next time, I'm it first" IHeart sarcastically replied. She then accepted Linkara's hug tightly and laughed. She then spoke again "You know. I really think things are really turning up" She looked to Linkara cheerfully and full of complete energy

[Linkara]

"Oh yes, of course my dear." He winked at her "You know, you should never say that, I mean look what happened to General Custer. One day he woke up, said to himself "I'm sure I'll kill all thsoe indian idiots" and then got completely slaughtered." He affectionate gave her yet another hug. Eventually he got up "We should get going, do you think?"

[IHeart]

IHeart's smile turned into a confused frown but it came quickly back when Linkara hugged her again. She sighed happily and in content. She was in a good mood today. She really was. Thanks to her friend. She nodded and got up dusting off the said dirt from her clothes. "Yeah. Don't want critic to worry. Even if I'm with a champion" She winked at that

[Linkara]

"Oh hush you." Linkara smiled a very genuine and gentle grin, standing up and brushed off the dirt. He gave a mock bow "Shall I flag down a hansome cab for you my lady IHeart" He put his arm around her shoulders and started to walk off.
