Grimhilde smiled as the smoke actually worked but she failed to get the staff out of Maleficent's hands. Suddenly more smoke enveloped her. Thinking it was a trick Grimhilde jumped back as Maleficent transformed into a powerful dragon. Grimhilde stood there speechless. She'd had't expected Maleficent to do that. She vaguely remembered her mentioned she could do that. She held her sword and jumped backwards to be out of ranger of her claws. She then applauded the transformation.
"I must admit you surprised me. I nearly forgot you could do that. But I need to be prepared for anything right? Especially if I end up against a sorcerer on the villains' side." said Grimhilde.
She considered her options. Her sword was a close ranger weapon and she knew she had to get closer to win. As for her potions Maleficent had already seen her use them and would be prepared if she tried to use them on her again. So Grimhilde chose to use them on herself. She dropped the ring to the ground covering the area in smoke. She then ran at Maleficent hoping to take her by surprise although she didn't want to hurt her friend either. But it was a training practice and she hoped she didn't hurt her too much.

Elisa smiled glad to have a training partner. She paused glancing at Rachel's knife.
"You sure you want to train with that? A knife is great for close range but it's also easier for someone to knock it out of your hand. Maybe you should try something bigger like a staff or a sword." said Elisa.
"Oh thanks for telling me a sword could be useful but I don't think I can hold it .also we need to learn how to use it ."Rachel said to Elisa, smiling at her.
Rachel 's green eyes looked at Elisa and her brown hair with blonde stripes blew in the wind. The spoiled woman was glad that indeed she got a sparring partner because she didn't want to be trained alone.
Although it stroked her ego well enough, Maleficent rolled her eyes when Grimhilde applauded her dragon form. Even though the form was highly impressive, the simple action had cost the queen precious seconds that could have been used to formulate some kind of defensive strategy.
The dark fairy knew that her next movements needed to be planned out very carefully. Thus far she had been “going easy”, as it were, on Grimhilde – or at least her definition of it, which was making sure that her attacks wouldn’t be fatal. This same control couldn’t be exerted over the deadly fire her dragon form used. Grimhilde would really have to stay on her toes to avoid getting hurt, or worse.
Grimhilde deployed on another smoke bomb, discouraging Maleficent from using her fire – it really wouldn’t do to kill one of her fellows. Instead, she whipped her powerful tail out in the queen’s direction, hoping to strike her.
