[Nostalgia Chick]

(January 3rd. Late afternoon. Training thread for the Critic's side.)

Nostalgia Chick walked out sighing after having an argument with Tender Heart. The Care Bear wanted to stop the fighting and she got tired of arguing with him. She didn't want to fight either but she didn't see there was any other options. At least not without the device to reopen the portal to send everyone back. She held a sword in her hand. She'd learned some basic training before filming Surburban Knights to at least make it look good. But she knew she needed more if she hoped to survive. With Dark Nella after she needed the best she could be.

Jasmine walked out holding a sword as well. She'd taught herself as best as she could and from watching the guards spar. But she knew she definitely would need more training.

Nani was the next to arrive. Out of three she had the least experience. While Lilo and Stitch were out chasing experiments with the occasional help from Jumba and Pleakley, she was off trying to keep her jobs. She had no experience with fighting. She hoped she was a fast learner. She didn't want to be a burden to her new allies.

Linksano walked out. Despite his superior intellect he wasn't a skilled warrior. He would have stayed in but Linkara had made him come out to train. He guessed Linkara didn't completely trust him yet. He didn't blame him. A few weeks ago he probably would have joined Ask That Guy's side but Linkara had shown him friendship and a high paying job. Besides he really didn't want to end up trapped in another dimension with only Lord Vyce for company.

Many of the team was working hard. Splinter was by himself not in disgust of the others but to train himself more and more for the upcoming battle. He stopped only to look at the others, it was a nice group but his sons not being there was indeed a stressful situation. He worried about his sons constantly. Well he would keep fighting until he got home, no strings attached to it.

Lilo just sat down with Patch. They were both really bored but the Nostalgia Critic told them to wait for their turn. Both children were bored along with their stuffed animal accomplice Tigger. Tigger was the loudest of all the childlike characters and kept moaning for entertainment

Cinema Snob wasn't the most pathetic fighter but he definitely needed some work. He punched a tree and accidently got a tiny cut on his hand, but the cut was noticable. Cursing in pain he looked over to check Jasmine was there and he gave a smirk and a wave. He just said a low "Hey"

"WHAAAAAAAAA!" Critic shouted as he tried to work out and fight. Like many of the reviewers, Critic although understanding of karate never actually did it. He did see Nostalgia Chick though and with a look she did seem upset. He didn't want to care since their constant rivalry but since the war started, Critic felt a bit closer to her. Like a sister or something. Looking at her in a nervous fashion he just stopped what he did and struggled to go to her.

Morpheus couldn't help but chuckle. All these people were good people but they definitely needed work to do in order to get the freedom they needed and craved. Nani somehow came into his path, the very thought of this woman having experience just screamed incorrect. He shrugged to himself. I might as well start helping Nani. She needs the training Morpheus thought. He stood up and asked politely "I see you need a sparring partner. Interested in doing it with me?"

Jasmine saw Cinema Snob wave to her and she waved back. The people her seemed nice. She waited for a trainer or sparring partner. She saw Morpheus was busy with Nani and Splinter seemed busy with his own training. She decided to start her own training for now and hoped someone would help her eventually. She stood off in a secluded part of the lawn separated from the others so she wouldn't hurt anyone. She began swining her sword about trying to get used to the feel of it.

Nostalgia Chick saw Critic training and could't help but smile. He was pretty funny at times. She saw him pause and glance over at her. She had to remember to smile more. But as he walked towards her she knew he wanted to talk to her. She began walking to meeting him in the middle.

"Hey Critic." said Nostalgia Chick, trying to sound cheerful.

Nani turned to see Morpheus and nodded to his request.

"I regret to say I have no experience with fighting. Back in Hawaii the only dangerous things were alien experiments and they were usually defeated by Stitch and Lilo. So perhaps we could start with...."

She raised her arms into the air as she was talking and had accidentally lost her grip on the sword. It flew into the air narrowly missing Jasmine before landing safely in the grass.

"... the basics." said Nani finishing her statement.

She immediately sighed and facepalmed. Before walking over to her sword before shouting out to Jasmine.

"Sorry! I'm still learning." said Nani s

Jasmine flinched seeing the sword coming flying at her. She ducked and heard a voice. She saw Nani going to retreive it. Well this was what practice was for. If this had been a real battle both of them could have gotten hurt Jasmine trying to duck that and Nani without a weapon.

"Just be more careful next time." said Jasmine.

"I will." said Nani.

She claimed her sword hurrying off to rejoin Morpheus totally embarrassed. She finally spoke.

"So can you teach me how to fight?" asked Nani.

[Morpheus]

Morpheus was about to shout for Jasmine to look out but Jasmine had it covered. "Can? I will teach you" Morpheus said a teeny bit shocked of how quick Nani came back. Making a stance of battle technque he looked to nani "Do as I do and then we can get to more specific steps on how to use these stances. This one I'm doing now I call "The crouching warrior"" He resisted the urge to facepalm about the stupid name, but what else could he call it?

Cinema Snob went to Jasmine and replied "You ok? You could've gotten hurt. Well, now that that's done with. I need a partner. I suck at this" Cinema Snob HATED to admit this. If it were up to him he'd quit but he needed to train just as much as everyone else. Jasmine seemed to have a bit of experience

Splinter saw Linksano and was curious. After kicking a trunk a bit he realized his old age did present himself as the kick retailed in his leg and he held it, hissing in pain. Looking over to Linksano who was a bit near him he replied "I was not young as I once was. You seem to be needing someone to train you am I correct?"

"Uh, hey chick, wanna train with me?" Critic sounded like a child having a child-like crush on a girl and wanted to talk to her. He felt stupid, really stupid, but no one else was near him except the kids and all they did was wait so that was out. He gave a really dumb but likeable grin as he spoke

(ooc: You know since Cinema Snob came as Indiana Jones to Surburan Knights and Jasmine has some training with a whip that it's even more interesting to see them as partners. xd)

Nani nodded putting her sword on the ground. She then followed his pose ready to learn. She wanted to not be an embarrassment or liability to the others on her side.

Jasmine turned to see Cinema Snob greet her.

"Luckily I have quick reflexes. Fighting off a different villain almost every day does keep you on your toes." said Jasmine.

She heard him ask for a partner.

"Sure. I have some experience with a sword but I mostly self taught myself. I haven't really fought anyone with a sword before." said Jasmine.

Linksano turned to see Master Splinter. Being trained by a rat didn't seem as odd to him. Besides he was a ninja master and trained the Ninja Turtles. He couldn't have asked for a better trainer. Well he supposed he could but aside from Morpheus there wasn't anyone here who had as much experience as Master Splinter.

"I've mostly relied on weapons and devices for protection. So I'd appreciate the help." said Linksano.

Chick glanced at Critic a little confused. He seemed oddly nervous around her. Everyone else was busy at the moment anyway. And she really didn't want to fight one of the kids so she nodded.

"Sure. Why not?" said Nostalgia Chick.

"I don't know if it'll be enough. Nella's going to come for me. I have to stop her and save her at the same time. Wait. Maybe Maleficent knows a way to depossess her. I got to remember to ask her." thought Nostalgia Chick.

She turned and walked away from the group motioning for Critic to follow. She'd seen Nani nearly hit Jasmine. She didn't want to accidentally hurt someone else while training.

[Nostalgia Critic]

(OCC: Oh lol. I so need to use Splinter's account or tigger's it's like little to no posts on them)

Splinter grinned, pleased to actually have someone comply with him. He made a stance and replied "In order to fight you need to have courage to even attack your partner. So you must attack me" Splinter would defeat him to teach him defense but Linksano needed to help out that possibility first

"Well I used a belt as a whip. I have the belt in the house and I can get another belt so we can use them as weapons" Cinema Snob suggested. If she asked why he would answer but being Indiana Jones back when malachite was around made it a bit odd sometimes to think about

"Why is my sister being around Morpheus?" Lilo asked curious. Morpheus was her friend but him being around his sister was odd. Tigger shrugged and Patch just yawned, not interested at all

WHAT IS WRONG CRITIC? She's your rival! Wake up! Critic's inner voice screamed. He ignored it though and walked over to the hill-like area where they walked of to the quest for that horrible memory of a treasure hunt. He remembered it a bit but shook it off, he then made a stance and smiled "Give me your best shot"

"Good! Very impressive considering that you are a beginner. Now do this move" Morpheus put his hands to the ground then put one of his legs straight outward like he was about to kick someone. He enjoyed training people to fight, it was what he did best, he was a good fighter

Maleficent walked slowly through the woods. Patch had left some time ago, but she had wanted – needed – to be alone with her thoughts for just a little while longer. There was an issue that she desperately needed to sort out – the matter of that strange warm feeling she had felt both yesterday and today while around Jasmine and Patch, respectively. She was so certain that she had felt it before, but she couldn’t for the life of her remember where or when it had happened, and it frustrated her greatly.

Maleficent was nearly back at the Nostalgia Residence when she stumbled upon the training session that she appeared to be late for. She stood and watched what was going on, gold eyes seeking out a partner.

[Patch]

"Hey it's Maleficent!"Patch said happy to see his new friend. He went away from Lilo and ran towards her. Excited that she came. Well he did spend the day with her but he didn't care he wanted to tell her the detail. He wagged his tail and said a bit intimidated by the fact he possessed "The Critic is saying we have a battle in a few days"

The rest of the people were either training or talking. They were getting their heads in the game they all wanted to take part of

"Alright. Here goes nothing." said Linksano.

He lunged at Splinter swinging at him. But since he was untrained his swings were a bit wild.

Jasmine smiled as she listened to the Snob.

"Using a belt as a whip? That's pretty clever. I've used a real whip once. But I didn't bring it with me. Are these belts strong enough for a weapon?" said Jasmine.

Nostalgia Chick nodded following him and saw the area there were in. She frowned at the unnappy memories before deciding to focus on the fight. When he challenged her she smiled raising her sword into the air.

"Remember you asked for it Critic." said Chick.

She charged at him and swung her sword at him as she neared him.

Nani watched Morpehus next move. It was kind of like karate. She seen it enough in films although she hadn't tried it herself. She mimicked the move as best as she could. She saw Lilo sitting over by Tigger and smiled. At least she was safe. She hoped they could end this quickly and her little sister didn't have to fight.

At the sound of Patch’s voice, Maleficent looked down and saw the Dalmatian puppy barreling in her direction. When he reached her, she bent down and lightly scratched the top of his head.

“Hello, Patch,” she returned the greeting before listening to the rest of his message.

“The Critic is saying we have a battle in a few days.”

The stroking stopped abruptly.

“What?” Maleficent felt her eyes grow wide at the thought. It was not that she was afraid – she hadn’t been truly afraid in a long time – but she was worried. One of the keys to success was being knowledgeable about your enemy – their strengths, their weaknesses, their flaws. Everything you could possibly learn. However, Maleficent knew next to nothing about Ask ThatGuy and even less about the people he had lured to his side. Without that information, who was to say that they would triumph?

Expectinately, The Critic did fall down with a flop at Chick's attack. On the other hand, it made him motivated and forget the memories of the ground they stood on. With a very familiar determinded smirk, Critic jumped and made a Link battle cry before aiming his sword upon Chick's

"He said Ask Thatguy threatened that on the 7th he'd use our flesh as sex dolls. What's a sex doll anyway? Anyway, Critic said we had no choice so we have to wait while the adults train first" Patch was nervous. He was bored before but he couldn't help but tell his friend about this situation.

"Oh trust me they've been used in many things"

Like sex Cinema snob thought as he chuckled with Jasmine. He then shuffled a bit and asked again politely "So... Wanna use them? I got them inside no big deal" He pointed to Critic's house

Splinter blocked all Linksano's crazy arm attacks and gently but somewhat harshly kicked him. It wouldn't hurt him but it would definitely get him off-coarse. Then he kicked again at Linksano's back

"Impressive. One more then we shall use them" Morpheus replied. Then he made a fisted stance with his legs in different positions. He couldn't help but look at Lilo as well. The child was indeed cute and innocent. It made Morpheus want to protect her

"Hey tigger any chance you can bounce over there and spy on them?" Lilo asked Tigger. She REALLY wanted to peep at what her sister was doing. It was just too curious to pass up

"Tiggers don't do stuff when they're kinda wanting to watch stuff" Tigger replied. He was paying attention to Chick and Critic's fight rather than what Lilo was concerned about

Sex dolls?

Maleficent’s brow furrowed at the unfamiliar word.

“I – I really don’t know,” she admitted at last. “But if I had to guess, I would say that it’s nothing good.”

Seeing that Patch appeared to be nervous, she started to scratch behind his ears.

“There’s nothing to be worried about, Patch,” she said in a reassuring voice, neatly shoving her own doubts to the back of her mind. “We’ll beat them. Good always triumphs over evil, doesn’t it?”

Bile rose in the fairy’s throat as the words left her mouth. Just saying that had made a part of Maleficent die a slow and painful death, but if it would keep Patch calm, then so be it.

Chick smiled seeing him fall. He got up quickly and charged at her.

"At least he doesn't give up." thought Chick.

She barely blocked his next attack. She began to wonder if they should have trained using sticks first. At least then there'd be less chance of injury.

"Sure. They probably wouldn't expect us using belts. Maybe it'll give us an edge." said Jasmine.

She smiled although she doubted that. But it would be useful to be trained a few weapons for the next fight.

Linksano frowned at the double kick attack. First at his side then his back. He began to wonder how long it took the four turtles to train under his leadership. He had to do better. After all his gadgets were only useful if he had them. If they were knocked away or destroyed he'd be defenseless. He wanted to be prepared. He lunged at Splinter swipping at Splinter's again.

Nani followed the position again pretty easily. She was glad the basic stuff seemed so easy. But she knew it would only get tougher.

[Master Splinter]

Splinter admired the determination of Linksano. Despite that he admired that Linksano wasn't giving up, Splinter was anything but gentle. In a battle he needed to be rough and fight a bit difficultly. He wasn't going to go soft, even it it was a training session. He had to admit though a kick did get him distracted but he recoiled with a punch to the side

Critic was silent and kept fighting back. He was thinking about the chances of getting hurt with these swords but he was sorta having fun at the moment so he didn't really pay attention. He made sure not to get anywhere within Chick's body areas and only aimed at her sword

"Yeah. A lot of shows do that" Patch said calm again. The petting helped a bit. Her words really made him feel safer. Also a bit protected

"Alright be right back" Cinema snob replied before running into the house. When he got inside he got his belt and then another black belt a bit smaller than his. He then ran back to Jasmine and handed her the belt

"Good. Really good" Morpheus replied "Now that you know these technques I say we use them" Morpheus then used a defense stance and replied patiently "Attack me"

Rachel came in , Her beautiful green eyes scanned the place and the spoild woman sighed . Rache looked and waved :"Hi guys ! Would mind that I'll join to us to train if you doing that ?" Rachel asked in soft voice and a sweet smile and then she remebered that she had done a little Karate with Phoebe and she remebered when she and Pibs scared Ross . Boy ! what fun it was Rachel tought .

A dark creamy lioness came into the picture .Ears were flicking , brown nose smelled the air and her dark green eyes scanned the place and the pepole and then a friendly voice came from her thoart :"Hello there . I came to join here let me interduce myself . I'm Sarafina and I came from the Pridelands in the african savannah .." The female dark creame furred lioness added in a soft voice with a smile from her creamy muzzle . Paws padded and then she puffed her chest with pride and beamed with joy .
