A Hollow Victory

[Ma-Ti]

(January 21st. Open to everyone. Set during the battle & rescue threads.)

Marzgurl stood in the medbay having learned a little from Splinter. He was their only medic and she wanted to learn at least basic stuff to help them out.

Jasmine teleported into the medbay nearly falling over. She grabbed onto a table to steady herself.

"I got hit by one of Dr. Insano's inventions. My back hurts but I don't know how bad it is." said Jasmine.

Marzgurl rushed over to Jasmine seeing the wound. It did look pretty bad but thankfully they could help her. She grabbed some rubbing alcohol putting on the wound and began bandaging it up.

Jasmine winced as Marzgurl treated her wound. She hoped she could heal from this. She hated leaving a battle before it was done.

Ma-Ti teleported in drying his tears as he turned to face Jasmine and Marzgurl.

"Have the others come back yet? A group left to rescue Chick and the others." said Ma-Ti.

Marzgurl shook her head.

"Not yet. You and Jasmine are the first to return." said Marzgurl.

"That should do for now. Once Splinter gets back he'll have a proper look at your wound." said Marzgurl.

"Thanks Marzgurl." said Jasmine, grateful.

She hoped Maleficent, Snob, and the others were successful. That they'd have their friends back here today.

[IHeart]

Morpheus entered the room, smiling and completely dirty. His smile faded though as he turned to Nani, whom he was carrying. He gently put her on a medical bay bed and held her hand replying "It is fantastic to see all of you but Nani is unconcious. Can you help her?"

"Morpheus!" Lilo replied running downstairs alongside IHeart, who was seen with less bandages but still had bandages all around her middle area along with her forehead. Lilo hugged Morpheus for a bit before gasping at Nani. IHeart gasped herself but then she saw Ma-Ti crying and quickly went over to him "Ma-ti! Are you ok?! Did that son of a bitch hurt you? Did he? I'll----"

(OCC: Interupt her. With anything. Maybe a hug or kiss? Hinthint)

[Ma-Ti]

Marzgurl looked over seeing Morpheus smiling to see him back. She quickly frowned as she realized Nani was hurt.

"Set her on the table. I'm not an expert but I can keep her comfortable until Splinter arrives. What happened?" asked Marzgurl.

Ma-Ti looked up seeing Iheart, Morpheus, Lilo, and an unconscious Nani show up. He looked worried but Morpheus and Marzgurl were taking care of her. When Iheart started ranting he grabbed her pulling her into a kiss. He pulled back and smiled.

"I'm alright. I'm alright. I'm fought Facilier. We just hurt each other but I'm just upset at what I've become. My heart has so full of anger, bitterness, and hatred that my ring didn't work. It was with me the whole time and it only worked when I let it go to fight Malachite. That's why my ring worked then. I don't know if the ring would work for me if I got it back." said Ma-Ti.

He then walked over to Lilo and hugged her.

"It'll be alright. Nani will wake up." said Ma-Ti, trying to reassure Lilo.

He felt bad for Lilo. Someone so young should not see their loved ones hurt. He knew that all too well with his parents death. He hoped Nani would be alright.

[IHeart]

"A bomb that Ace designed was so powerful it caused tons of rubble to collaspe. It set my cage free as well. I fear that she may be injured than unconcious" Morpheus replied going beside Marzgurl to get medicine and some ice for Nani's head. He then looked to Lilo and replied "Your sister will be alright Lilo. Ma-Ti is correct"

Lilo hugged Ma-Ti tightly. She then replied "I'm scared though. What if it's worse than ever? Poor Nani" Lilo then held Nani's hand tightly and simply watched.

IHeart was about to speak more when Ma-Ti pulled her to him. With a shocked look, she then felt Ma-Ti's lips againest hers all over again. She quickly fell into it and closed her eyes and eventually he pulled back and she sighed calming down a bit. She then was baffled that he confessed that he was angry of himself being a self-asorbed hot-tempered person. She at first thought it was him hating himself but then she realized there was indeed a reason why the ring did not work so she didn't say anything just go over next to Ma-Ti and put her head on his shoulder relieved. She then rubbed Lilo's back gently replying "He's right lilo. She'll wake up. Everything will be fine"

Ace just felt so guilty "I am so, so sorry. I didn't think it would go off that strongly." She had this horrible mental image of Nani's tombstone and people crying at her funeral, if she didn't make it... Ace didn't finish off the thought, instead silently hoping.

[Ma-Ti]

Marzgurl listened to Morpheus as she examined Nani.

"I think she'll survive. It looks like she was just knocked out but Splinter should know for sure." said Marzgurl.

She turned to Lilo agreeing with the others.

"Don't worry. Your sister's a fighter. She'll be awake again in no time." said Marzgurl.

Ma-Ti hugged Lilo in return

"Don't worry. Nani will be awake, good as new. She just needs her rest right now." said Ma-Ti.

He smiled at Iheart glad to be helping a friend. He hoped Splinter returned or Nani woke up soon.

Nani just lay unconscious unaware of what was going on.

[IHeart]

Lilo smiled calmly but watched her sister. Morpheus smiled to both teens, pleased to see them as well as help him cheer Lilo up. He too was nervous of her condition and held nani's hand tightly. He nodded to Marzgurl "Splinter I think I still at the battle. I think he may return soon though"

IHeart watched the situation herself and hoped Lilo would handle the waiting. She looked to Ma-Ti and smiled warmly to him, pleased that he wasn't hurt himself

[Nostalgia Chick]

Chick suddenly teleported in still holding Patch with Critic holding her. They were free. She glanced over seeing Morpheus and smiled. She let go of Critic setting Patch down before hugging Morpheus glad he was alive.

Ma-Ti turned shocked as the others teleported in.

"Nostalgia Chick. Patch. They're back. Critic and the others did it." said Ma-Ti.

Ma-Ti smiled at Critic.

Marzgurl glanced up at Critic. She smiled glad Patch and Chick were back.

"We should call a retreat. We've got them back. We don't need anyone else getting captured or killed. And Splinter needs to get back here to check on Nani. She got hurt when the place collapsed." said Marzgurl.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Patch went down to simply go up to the bed next to IHeart. IHeart replied to patch first "Oh my god! Patchie!" With that IHeart hugged the puppy tightly kissing the dog's head, before letting Lilo pick him up. IHeart ran to Chick and after she hugged Morpheus, IHeart hugged her. "Oh my god chick! We thought we'd never see you again!" IHeart replied, having some tears of joy

"Yeah. We did it. We got what we wanted. Chick, Patch and Morpheus are back...." Critic replied repeating what Ma-Ti said calmly said, as if he couldn't believe it. He won. He actually WON, and deserved it! He deserved to win! He went over to Ma-ti and patted the boy's back. He nodded "I'll call spoony in and see if he's doing alright. I'll call splinter in too" Critic then replied on the walkie talkie "Spoony do you copy!"

"Critic! We're in shit! We need to retreat now! Do you have the three prisoners?!" Spoony's voice came up

"We do! Retreat now! Retreat!" Critic snapped back in a rush

"Ok. We'll meet you soon! We'll go find the rest and get here. Hang on!" Spoony replied back then the line cut off

[Ma-Ti]

"We need to let the rescue teams know too." said Ma-Ti.

He activate his communicator.

"Elisa, can you hear me?" asked Ma-Ti trying her first.

"This is Elisa. What's going on?" said Elisa.

"Morpheus, Chick, and Patch are back with us. You guys better get out of there before the rest of the army shows up." said Ma-Ti.

"No. You freed them all. Well then I'll just have to take some new hostages." said Dark Nella.

"Run!" said Elisa.

The communicator shut off as Ma-Ti looked up worried. Dark Nella was after them.

"I hope they make it out." said Ma-Ti.

Marzgurl meanwhile began trying to reach the others.

"Chester, let the others know. We succeeded. Chick, Patch, and Morpheus are here back at the house." said Marzgurl.

"Hurray! Our plan worked!" said Chester.

"No. It can't be." said Mechakara.

"Dark Nella and Mechakara are there. They can't fight them off forever. We got to go back and help them." said Ma-Ti.

[Nostalgia Critic]

Critic replied calmly "Well they seem to be on the way" Critic replied to Marzgurl "Spoony's gonna wanna fight so he'll take longer but the rescue team should be on the way" As if to prove him right, 90's kid hubbled over to a empty bed and coughed, holding his arm. "Dude. She's making my arm bleed!"

Snob made it to the medical bay and breathed, sweating and tired. He replied "We made it. How's the captives holding up?"

Critic replied to Snob "Everybody should be here soon. Morpheus, Chick and Patch are fine" He turned to Chick and while hugging her replied to her specifically "I wanna talk to you. Alone. You don't mind do you?"

[Nostalgia Chick]

Seconds later Elisa and Chester teleported in. Elisa hugged Chick glad she was alright.

"I'm so glad you're alright. Well aside from you not having a voice." said Elisa.

"Thank god we're alive. We took out that robot DarkHeart. Apparently she hasn't seen Care Bears and didn't get our jokes about her name." said Chester.

Chick smiled hugging Elisa glad one of her best friends was safe. She turned to Critic and smiled at him. She turned to Elisa mouthing "i'll be back." Chick then headed upstairs knowing Critic would follow her.

[Nostalgia Critic]

"If she did... I don't think she'd laugh. She kept saying nothing will stand againest mechakara's way so assuming from that he named her. Bad parenting" Snob sarcastically joked. He then went over to 90's kid and gasped "Jesus kiddo! What happened?"

"That broad like totally stabbed me!" 90's kid replied sadly. He turned to marzgurl like a child to his mom and even had the pouty lip.

Critic followed Chick upstairs accidently ignoring 90's kid, and eventually was at the living room with her. Knowing she couldn't speak, he got out a notepad and pen for her. He gave her the notepad so they could talk. He smiled softly but then made a stern frown "They didn't hurt you too bad did they? If they did I'll rip them apart" Critic then awaited her to answer

[Nostalgia Chick]

Marzgurl turned to 90's Kid gathering some bandages as she tended to his wound.

"It's not too deep. It'll heal in a few days and you'll be back to shooting guns in no time." said Marzgurl.

She smiled trying to cheer him up. 90's kid was always so happy. Even if it was annoying at times. She couldn't help but want him to be happy.

Shen then turned to Morpheus.

"I've seen the video they gave us. I know how bad they hurt you. You need to sit down and let me make sure you're alright." said Marzgurl.

Ma-Ti smiled seeing the rescue group return. He frowned realizing the entire group wasn't here.

"Wait. Where's Linkara, Maleficent, Harvey, and Paw? Weren't they with you?" asked Ma-Ti.

Elisa frowned looking around also not noticing Paw, Harvey, Linkara, and Maleficent.

"Harvey and Paw teleported out with us. They should be here soon. But I don't know where Linkara and Maleficent are." said Elisa.

"I didn't see them either. I was too busy fighting off the psycho robot girl." said Chester.

XXXX

Chick shook her head.

"Aside from the battle that I was captured they didn't do much. My shoulder's almost healed. Oh I did find something." wrote Chick.

She then pulled out the Ring of heart sitting it on the table.

"I meant to give it to Ma-Ti downstairs and completely forgot I had it. I couldn't use it since it's voice activated." Chick wrote below her original sentences.

Snob nodded worriedly to Ma-Ti "Yeah. They should be here. At least Harvey I brought him with me" Snob then patted Ma-Ti "They'll be here. No worries" IHeart simply hugged Ma-Ti understanding his worries

90's kid smiled happily "Really!? DUDE! That's like not long at all! Thanks marzgurl!" He awaited the bandages and shrugged as the bandages were quick to apply.

Morpheus nodded, sitting down obediantly. He then replied hissing "Yes they were teasing me and bullying me to believe you'd never find me. I knew in my heart they were wrong. Black lantern spoony despised me the most which is why he was the one beating me up" He clenched his fist "That mistake back there will not happen again"

Critic read what Chick wrote to him. He then looked to her lovely face. He then grabbed the ring and replied "No worries. I'll give this back to him or we both will" Critic then replied again, breathing heavilly "Them not hurting you much is a relief. You being there made me wish I never gotten hurt. I was a idiot. I'll never put you in a situation like that again"
