A Robot And His Dog

[Patch]

Patch followed Mechakara away from the house, constantly checking to see if anyone was following them. The pup was nervous about this but once they escaped, Patch wagged his tail both sad and glad. Freckles was going to have to meet him in battle or something to be told what was going on but Patch didn't care, Freckles maybe would join him or something, maybe DarkHeart or seven would take her in just like mechakara took him in. Patch nodded "Thank god. Safeguards are good" Patch suddenly felt tired all over again. Well that sucked but it was nighttime so it wasn't surprising.

He nevertheless walked alongside Mechakara. He responded calmly "I forgot. Is DarkHeart sleeping or something? Or is that part of being a robot" Patch couldn't help but yawn again as his walking was slower.

Meanwhile back at the house, IHeart woke up dazily. She was now hungry for a midnight snack of some sorts and went to the kitchen. She walked upstairs and saw a footprint. Which belonged to a man, but one of Linkara's sized shoe. She shrugged paying no mind to it, assuming Linkara was guarding and then went to bed and drank a cup of chocolate milk.

[Mechakara]

"Yes. I won't let anyone hurt you or my daughters. I'd fight my own army if necessary." said Mechakara.

He stopped as Patch mentioned Dark Heart sleeping.

"We do something similar. We shut down so we can recharge especially if we're really low on energy. But we don't dream. We just wake up when it's over." said Mechakara.

Mechakara saw Patch was getting tired as he picked the dog up unzipping his jacket and stuffing him in there so his head could poke out so he could breathe. It would also keep him warm as he could tell the weather was rather chilly tonight.

"Are you comfortable? You looked tired and I know it is cold. I don't want you to get sick before we get home." said Mechakara.

Freckles meanwhile walked out a bit thirsty. She saw Iheart and smiled wagging her tail. She stopped sniffing a familiar smell.

"Patch?" asked Freckles.

She followed the smell to the front door realizing Patch had gone out the front door. She stopped guessing he just went outside for a bit. He'd be back soon. She headed back into the kitchen.

"Could you get me some water please? I'm thirsty." said Freckles.

[Patch]

(OCC: OMGMECHAKARALETMEHUGYOU! Ahem. Yes. I'm very aware that this is cute)

Patch felt much warmer and more comfortable in Mechakara's jacket. He looked to the robot's face and nodded, gratefully and tiredly. He yawned a bit more before responding "Yes. I'm very comfortable. Thanks mechakara. I appreciate it. Oh and I can't wait to see DarkHeart and Seven" Patch couldn't help but lean againest Mechakara's neck as he began to fall asleep.

IHeart yawned "Heya Freckles. Sure. Stay right there" IHeart then got a doggie bowl and put nice cold water and put it down for Freckles. She then noticed the puppy sniff outside, she then guessed she was looking for patch. IHeart then saw her come back. IHeart sat next to Freckles and petted her as she continued drinking her milk. She then noticed something. Linkara said he took guarding duty this afternoon and that the night was off. Which meant.... Oh shit.

IHeart got up and walked outside, seeing more footprints that led to the woods. She then grew suspicious. She then went back to freckles and responded "Hey freckles. Were you sleeping with patch?"

[Mechakara]

(ooc: He'd probably blast anyone who said it was cute. But I'm aware of how cute it is. xd)

Mechakara nodded glad Patch was doing alright. Soon they'd be back home safe and sound.

"You're welcome. I'll get you home and you can meet Dark Heart and Seven later." said Mechakara.

Freckles smiled and lapped up some water as she paused hearing Iheart's question.

"We were but he left. I thought he just went outside for a bit. The scent stopped at the door." said Freckles.

She went out to the door seeing footprints leading to the woods as she got worried.

"Where's Patch? Where's my brother?" said Freckles, worried.

[Patch]

(OCC: I know. I can't handle it!)

IHeart gasped. Patch was not supposed to go outside. Especially a night. IHeart picked up Freckles, nervous for the pup's safety. Now the pieces added together. Someone got in and took patch while he was awake. Capturing him under his very nose. IHeart, with the puppy in toll, went to Critic's room, which contained the high ranking members sleeping. Which was Chick, Critic, Linkara, Spoony and Snob. IHeart put freckles down and replied "Try and wake up snob and linkara and chick. I'll wake up Spoony and Critic"

IHeart shoved Critic and Critic stirred and replied "Damnit IHeart. It's late! Why are you waking me up?"

"Patch has been taken!" IHeart hissed. Critic paled white. IHeart didn't pay attention and woke up Spoony. Spoony also did not act well "IHeart, you know I love ya but you should never wake me up"

"Can't worry about that Spoony. Patch has been taken!" IHeart snapped. Spoony froze horrified

"Ok. Sounds... good" Patch replied as he was growing more and more sleepy. He leaned a bit more into Mechakara's neck and fell right to sleep. Patch was going home now. Hopefully the others would understand his decision

[Freckles]

Freckles walked over and began licking Snob, Chick, and Linkara's cheeks and shoving them as much as she could with her paws.

Chick was the first to wake up.

"What's going on? I just got asleep." said Chick.

She paused hearing Iheart mention Patch was gone and sat up rubbing her eyes.

"What? Patch is gone?" said Chick.

"Yeah. He went outside and Iheart said he wasn't supposed to. There were footprints leading to the woods." said Freckles.

She began to whine already missing her brother and worried about him.

Chick petted Freckles in an attempt to calm her down.

"Maybe we can still catch them. It must have been Mechakara. He had Patch locked up in that closet. That poor puppy." said Chick.

Mechakara meanwhile seeing he was far away enough teleported away back to the house seeing Patch had fallen asleep. He wanted to get him home into a nice comfy bed. He'd deal with the heroes later. He'd gotten Patch back and that's all that mattered.

Linkara groaned as he stumbled downstairs, Harvey following him. It was bad enough he and Maleficent going to the house to get Patch back (He still had a bit of a injured nose after Mechakara had hit him), but now that he was gone, and to boot no one was watching the gatte, annoyed him.

Harvey groaned "Next time kid, I think we should ask Linksano to put some security cameras around the place."

[IHeart]

"Hehe, that tickles" Snob said sleepily before waking up. He then heard the news of Patch being captured again and stood up. He got outside and downstairs following Linkara and harvey and hissed out to the others "That's it. Security upgrades begin ASAP"

"Right. Come on follow me guys" Critic replied putting at least his tie and glasses back on as he got out of bed. He then went along downstairs. He was upset about this. Mechakara coming back and taking patch under his nose was very bad on his part. Maleficent especially was going to be pissed. Critic hoped she would not wake up or notice until tommorrow.

IHeart went over alongside Chick and picked up freckles to assure the puppy. Freckles was now scarred and IHeart didn't blame her. They all were. For all they knew, Mechakara was probably hurting him as they spoke. IHeart turned to Chick and replied softly "As much as I hope that's true. Mechakara knows how to teleport. I don't think we'll get him. We'll have to get patch all over again" IHeart looked to Freckles apolegetically and took the puppy with her downstairs.

"Well shit. This is not going to make maleficent happy. I can tell you that" Spoony responded before he got out of his sleeping bag. He walked to the door before turning to chick and asked "Hey. You coming?" He waited for her to come beside him

[Nostalgia Chick]

Freckles whined softly even as Iheart picked her up. She missed Patch. She hadn't seen Cadpig since she'd gotten here and now she was truly alone. The people were nice here but they were practically strangers.

Chick heard Iheart and nodded agreeing she was right. When Spoony asked her if she was coming she nodded. She followed them downstairs petting Freckles in an attempt to calm her down.

"This is just great. Should we wake Roses and the others up? Or just let them know tomorrow?" said Chick.

Stone yawned as he came downstairs annoyed at being woken up.

"Can't you people talk in the morning?" said Stone.

He stopped seeing Freckles looked a bit sad and Iheart and Chick were both trying to comfort her.

"What's wrong?" asked Stone, yawning again.

[IHeart]

"Sorry to wake you dude but... Patch. Patch is taken" IHeart responded upset. She then turned to the dog again and responded assuringly "I know. I miss him already myself. We'll get him back freckles. I promise" She turned to Chick and responded "We'll have to tell the rest of the army tommorrow. Critic what do you think?"

Critic, Spoony and Snob turned to Stone apolegetically. Critic responded to Stone "Heya Stone. Can you get Linksano and Holmes here? They're the brains and pretty much can figure out how and why Patch got kiddnapped successfully again and why the cameras didn't work. We'll tell roses and the whole army tommorrow. Keep quiet since obviously people are still sleeping"

"Well maybe it would work if you kept your voice down dude" Spoony retorted quietly as he sat on the couch.

Snob just sat down annoyed "Jesus fucking christ. Can it get any worse?"

Stone frowned at the news. He nodded to Critic.

"I'll go get them." said Stone, heading upstairs.

Freckles stopped whining but just cried quietly. Her brother was kidnapped and hopefully his kidnapper wasn't as crazy as Cruella and she'd have a brother to rescue.

Chick turned to Snob glaring at him.

"Why would you say that? Things always get worse after someone says that." said Chick, a bit nervous.

Stone went into his room he shared with Holmes and Linksano. He begins shaking Linksano and then goes over to Holmes.

"Come on guys. We've got an emergency meeting downstairs. Patch was kidnapped." said Stone.

Linksano sat up, yawning before he heard Stone.

"They took Patch already? What about Morpheus and Chick?" asked Linksano.

"They're still here. Chick's downstairs with Critic and some of the others. Morpheus I imagine is probably still asleep." said Stone.

"Then let's go find a way to get him back." said Linksano.

He walks downstairs while Stone turns to Holmes.

"We need you. Together the two of us and Linksano should be able to come up with a good rescue plan." said Stone.

Linksano joined the group downstairs.

"Stone and Holmes should be down here soon." said Linksano.

[IHeart]

"Watson. This is no time for me to go to one of your blasted tea parties" Holmes said sleepily but Linksano and Stone's conversation caused him to immediately awaken from his slumber. He was quiet and unsure about the situation so he did not speak until he was with everyone else. Holmes frowned "The poor dog is young and innocent. It is easy for villains like mechakara to pick them out. Chick would be near the leader obviously and morpheus does know how to fight. Patch has neither advantages"

Holmes turned to the kitchen and saw the footprints leading to outside. Due to being a detective it caused severe interest. He turned to Critic "Do you mind if I observe the backyard for any clues?"

"Of course not. Go right ahead. If you notice anything or assume any predictions let us know. Be careful though" Critic responded to Holmes. He then turned to Linksano "Alright. Patch has been kidnapped once before so mechakara will not put him in the same hiding spot or anything else familiar. We'll have to search every part of the villains hideout, make sure that all of mechakara's ideas on the matter are looked at"

Critic then noticed Chick nervous and went over to her, rubbing her shoulders comfortingly.

Spoony and IHeart noticed Freckles crying. Spoony hissed in understanding and felt awful. Poor freckles lost her brother, which was not good especially when she was now the only one here without anyone else in her family to comfort her. Spoony though saw IHeart decide to handle it and allowed her. IHeart rubbed Freckles' back and calmly shushed her, trying to assure the pup things would be ok

"Sorry. I get blabbermouthed when I'm sleepy and hear shitty news at the same time. I'm sure things will be fine" Snob replied, aware of Chick being nervous. He then responded "That poor dog. Patch must've been so scared while we were sleeping"

[Detective Mike Stone]

Stone followed Holmes downstairs and decided to follow him. He doubted there would be anything Sherlock Holmes could be but this would be a rare chance to see him in action in person.

Freckles cried silently knowing they were trying to help but without Patch here she wasn't sure she'd be happy.

"Patch please be safe. Wherever you are." thought Freckles.

Chick smiled as Critic rubbed her shoulders. She heard Snob's words and sighed.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you. I guess I'm just nervous. If they could swoop in here and take Patch then I could be next. I just don't want to go back there." said Chick.

Linksano nodded. He pressed a button on a device teleporting in a rolled up piece of paper. He set it on the table rolling it out.

"After talking with the other members I've tried piecing together a map of the place. It's not much but it'll give us a good idea of where to go. The rooms are generally upstairs with the basement below. And the living room and kitchen are on the main floor as well as Insano's lab. If we're going to do a rescue mission we might as well trash Insano's lab this time for good measure." said Linksano.

He paused hearing Chick voice her complaints.

"It's alright. We won't let them get you and we'll rescue back Patch as well." said Linksano.

Just then a very sleepy Cadpig walked in hearing someone's been taken. Who's been (yawns in mid sentence) taken? She asked worried its been so long since she had seen patch if something happened to him Cadpig wouldn't know what to do.

Rainbow Dash flies in looking ready for action as she heard someone was taken. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get this person back." RD said

Freckles turns to Cadpig still crying.

"The villains came and took Patch away again. We have to get him back. Who knows what they'll do to him" said Freckles, worried about her brother.

She was glad Cadpig was here having remembered running into her again a couple of days ago and playing tag with her and the other animals. She turned back to the other members of the army.

"You will get him back won't you?" asked Freckles.

"Of course we will. He's one of us. He's our friend. We should do it tomorrow before Mechakara and the others have time to set something up to keep us out. That dog shouldn't be leftover there too long." said Chick.

"Quite right. But tomorrow? That's such a short amount of time. Holmes and I will probably have to pull an all-nighter to think up a good plan." said Linksano.
