Where is this character from?: The Jungle Book
Why did you pick him/her?: I like hynotic characters and kaa is just a cute character/villain. I thought having a mindcontroler on the bad guy's side would be fun. Grantite it MAY not work on robots or something but it definitely works on humans and animals

Personality: Kaa is a villainous, selfish and idiotic character who twice attempts to trap Mowgli in his coils in order to devour him throughout the film. He does this through the use of hypnotic eyes as opposed to the original version, in which he uses a serpentine dance to control his prey. His attempts to eat Mowgli always end in a comical failure. He is also quite cowardly, attempting to curry favor with Shere Khan whenever he is around. While his actions appear evil, he performs no truly heinous crimes as he is just a predator who just wants to eat, and still has his benevolence and cowardice that he had since childhood, along with his obvious naivete. As revealed in one of the episodes of Jungle Cubs, Kaa is at his most benevolent and less threatening after he has already eaten. Despite his evilness, he is quite cheerful and friendly, also he does tend to be incredibly charming and social, making his victims charmed in more ways than just his hynosis spells
History: Kaa was raised in the jungle and had his powers since his childhood, although it wasn't until his adult years where they actually worked and worked all the time. Kaa then met Mowgli, a man-cub raised by wolves and supposedly going home due to Shere-Khan returning, Kaa however had other ideas and hynotised Mowgli to eat him but was thwarted. The second time he actually talked to mowgli as a friend, before going right in when Mowgli leat expected. As it turned out, he and shere-khan were partners on this notice of the man-cub and due to both hunger and slight envy from shere-khan, kaa kept mowgli away from shere-khan's clutches, only for mowlgi to escape again afterwards.
In the next movie he was in, he found shanti and hynotized her as well for food but was thwarted by his younger brother Rajan. Kaa since then stayed away from humans, hynotizing birds and other animals instead. Then he was transported here by Insano's invention and, being promised tons of food by Ask Thatguy, stayed on Ask thatguy's side and stayed even closer to Ask Thatguy since Facilier's rebellion, mostly out of more trust in a man rather than a magician
