“Gaston, you are absolutely primeval.” (best quote ever)
Name: Princess Belle
Age: Early twenties?
Where is this character from? Beauty and the Beast
Why did you pick him/her?: Belle is my favorite Disney princess
Personality:
Belle is a bit of a futurist, in that she’s a woman who is well-red back when women were supposed to look pretty and stay in the kitchen. Because of this, she’s become a social outcast but doesn’t let that both her. Belle is often polite and kind, but that’s not to say she doesn’t have her limits. She tries to be open-minded about friendships with others, but if one, say, locked her away in a castle, she will understandably be upset about it. She is willing to put herself in danger if she must and has an innate sense of right-and-wrong. If she’s angry, she preferred to keep to herself.
History:
Belle grew up in a small town. She was not satisfied with her current life and dreamed of becoming a part of something much bigger than herself, but was not sure exactly what that would be. Her wish was achieved when her father happened upon the enchanted castle and was held prisoner by a man-turn-monster. After trading places with her father, so she would be prisoner in the castle, she became acquainted with the household staff, who have been transformed into various household objects by the enchantment. In order to break the spell on the castle, she and the Beast needed to fall in love, but Belle could not tolerate the Beast until he eventually learned to become more kindhearted. She was surprised to find that she was starting to think of the Beast as more than a friend. When she was freed from the castle and went into the wood to save her father, who was lost in the woods looking for her, it turned out that the jealous Gaston had a plan to get her to marry him. Upon finding out about the Beast, Gaston rallied the townsfolk to attack the castle and kill the Beast. During the fight, Gaston fell to his death, but not without fatally wounding the Beast. Belle realized she loved the Beast and the spell was broken, so her and the Beast danced off into the sunset, happily ever after.
Until one day, Belle found herself in an unfamiliar place. After outright refusing to join the villains in their ploys, she joined the Critic’s Army, hoping she would be of use – or at least find a way to go home.
Allies: The Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Ms. Potts, ect…
Enemies: Gaston, Ask ThatGuy’s Army
Plans: Possible friendship with Jasmine and other Disney Princesses if they show up.
I might also want to make her go out on her own and try to negotiate terms with the villains.
