Critic's side:
Flynn was walking along with the group. Another group had gone for supplies as well. So he volunteered to be part of a second group as it might take several trips if they just used one. Of course he'd accidentally lead the group towards the borders of ask that guy's area but they were some good stores in the area. But they never made it that far as energy blasts flew at them as Flynn summoned his spiderman outfit thanks to technology and began firing blasts of webbing at them. He didn't have spider powers like his hero Spider-man but he'd helped invent gadgets that mimicked the ability.

Johnathan got into position summoning his sword grateful for the new technology they had to call weapons if they were in danger. He stood ready to fight not sure who or where the enemy would come from.

Rachel had always been up for shopping but now was starting to regret it as blasts flew at them. She summoned a Blade Blaster and fired back.

Hat was always up for a challenge. It looked like the shopping trip was canceled as they were under attack. He pulled out a baton staff from his hat and twirled it around ready to fight.
Facilier's Side:
Barry had assembled what members he could to stake the ambush. He'd spotted a few of Critic's allies wandering the streets to do some shopping. And this would be the perfect time to strike. he fired energy blasts at the group.

Connor smirked ready to fight again spotting some of the heroes.
"Looks like we might have some fun. Maybe a warm up in case someone comes to save you." mocked Connor.

Dean held a sword in his hand ready to fight. He was being trained by his new family and with his new wings he could manifest at will he could fly if he had to. They still took some getting used to so he couldn't fly very far or high yet. But he could dodge attacks.

Sarah had reluctantly come to help. She didn't want to fight but knew she'd likely be punished. And she felt guilty at being relieved it was Critic's army they were attacking not wanting to risk fighting Ask That Guy's army and be up against her son. She held a knife ready to fight and defend herself.
