Why did you pick him/her?: For drama for TMNT characters. Plus it'll be interesting to continue his romance with Donatello.

Personality:
Future Casey is a world-weary, determined, noble, cautious man. He's quite determined, loyal and adventurous. He is not one to back down from challenges, which is both his greatest asset and weakness. He's courageous to a fault, wanting to fight for things he feels is right. He's not one to give up quickly and he doesn't take no for a answer a lot of the time. He's stubborn, prideful and overly curious. He usually can get into trouble due to his impulsive attitude. He's also hot-headed, his bad temper still a thing he's struggling with.
History:
This version of Casey had the original past of our Casey but the differences continue from there. Casey joined April to create the rebellion and had been her partner in it for many years. Sadly, due to war times and creative differences, the two broke up as a romantic couple but were still very good friends. As the years passed, Casey got himself into trouble as he ignored Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael's warnings to avoid the shredder. Casey, due to feeling like he had nothing to lose anymore, attacked Shredder's forces alongside April. This was where he met a man named Boi, a slave of Sunny's who worked for the foot. Casey fought the man but was shocked to learn that this man knew who he was. Before they could clear confusion, the building was destroyed and Casey got separated from his team and was close to death. Sunny revived him and made Casey a foot clan slave also. This was where he learned that Boi was actually Donatello and, due to being enslaved alongside Boi, finally reunited and caught up with his old friend. Casey learned Donatello had a second mutation that caused him to be human in the day(Boi) but a monsterous beast at night(Which he learned was called Ravenger) and that he kept quiet to prevent the Shredder retaliating against his family or forcing Donny to forever be a monster. Casey explained what happened to him, helping Boi regain a semblance of a life outside of the foot. The two sparred and spent time together during the next few years, falling in love and deciding to be in a relationship. They only had each other in this cruel world and Casey realized he didn't need to be alone in the fight anymore.
Eventually though, one day, the foot fortress was broken into for the first time in a long time. Casey and Boi worked together, escaping in the chaos, taking down Sunny to finally achieve freedom. Then, as they were fleeing, Casey was forced to see his best friends die right before him. He was forced to see Donny get the one thing he spent his whole life protecting get taken away. Casey reunited with April, their bitterness towards each other completely gone at this point and explained the whole story to her. Then they began to finally heal from Shredder's tyranny. They rebuilt everything, brought every single survivor and restored peace. They made sure to take down and destroy everything Shredder held, including his lab. Casey helped Donny recover from every scar, just like Donny had helped healed his. April took charge while Casey and Boi went underground to restart their life. Only for Casey to awake in a mansion, by himself, without Boi at his side. Casey at first was outraged and did what he did best, lash out at anyone near him. Unfortunately it was a bunch of fairies, desperately trying to keep him safe. In the midst of the argument, Casey broke a magical potion(one that was meant for someone else) and it caused him to regain his youth. He was still a adult but his body was that of a older teen. Casey, after being forced to calm down, learned they were a defiant army and that his allies were all here. Casey learned his versions of Mikey and Raph were alive and decided to stick with them. At least for now.
