Personality:
Ash is a curious, intelligent, adventurous, determined, brave and noble young man. He's loyal to the core, extremely compassionate, fun-loving and is always prepared to take the lead. He's extremely caring for others, particularly underdogs and animal life. He's competitive but he's not arrogant enough to not be a good sport when he loses. He also is extremely open-minded with things, even if he doesn't quite understand it well. He's impulsive and tends to think with his heart many times. He's also quite stubborn, always trying to get what he wants. He also can be quite absent-minded and clumsy thanks to his impulsive energetic nature.
History:
Ash Ketchum was born and raised by a single mother, his father had left when he was just a baby. His father was just too focused on work to spend time with his family. Ash loved the outdoors and explored the forests quite home when his mother was working. One night, when he was only six, he got lost but thanks to a butterfree he returned home safely. This instilled a lifelong passion and love for pokemon. He vowed to be a trainer as he got older. Trainers could only start when they were ten so Ash practiced and studied pokemon for as long as he could remember. The night of the sign up for the pokemon training lead by Professor Oak, he was so excited he didn't sleep that well. This caused him to be late the next morning, missing all the jahto starters. Thankfully Oak had one more but he was warned the final starter was quite stubborn to handle. Ash didn't mind and was pleased to recieve a Pikachu as his first pokemon. At first the two didn't get along but they quickly bonded over trial and error. Now, Pikachu practically worships Ash and vise versa, the two being a dynamic duo. He eventually met Brock Harrison and Misty, befriending them and becoming a trainer trio. The two went through many misadventures and met people, and pokemon, along the way. Even dealing with many rivals including Team Rocket.
One day, after a long journey, Brock, Ash and Misty went their own ways. Ash was still determined to find more pokemon and kept at least one from his orange island adventure and a couple from his kanto journey. He even released his first Lapras but gained a second one during his travels. He was planning to go back home when one morning, he found himself here. He reunited with Brock and was saddened to hear Misty was missing. He can only hope to return home to safety.
