Name: Hogarth Hughes
Age: 11

Why did you pick him/her?: Because I adore this movie and I love this kid!
Picture:
Personality:
Hogarth is a talkative, curious, intelligent and fun-loving kid. He's socially awkward, a fact he is aware of, but never really too concerned about this flaw. He is always down to having a good time and making friends. He's extremely imaginative, sarcastic, dedicated, loyal and quirky. He is never afraid to put himself in the line of fire to help someone else out. He's creative, witty and extremely charming. He's adventurous and courageous, always going out of his way to find a solution to a problem. He can be rather mischievous, sometimes without even trying and does have a blunt nature to him, especially when in a bad mood. He has a great intuition and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.
History:
Hogarth Hughes was born in the late 50's, in Rockwell, Maine. His life was relatively happy but his father passed away when he was only six years old. His mother tried hard to take care of him but it was rather difficult being a single parent. Hogarth was rather lonely due to his mother working two jobs to get by, and it was hard making friends so he tried to get pets or made up friends to pass the time. One night, he heard noises while he was up late watching a horror sci-fi movie. He went to investigate, having a belief it was a alien invasion. He was shocked, and terrified, to realize it was a giant robot who landed on a electrical power plant. The robot got electrocuted and was in severe pain, Hogarth felt immense pity and rescued him. This small act caused a friendship that would last forever. The next morning, after school, he went to find proof of the robot to show his mother who understandably didn't believe him. He found the robot and befriended him, realizing it was a bad idea to show him to the world because of paranoia and fear of the unknown. The adults would not realize that the giant was gentle in spite of his size. Hogarth took care of the giant, even when Government Agent Kent Mansley was suspicious. He eventually met a mechanic named Dean who helped him out in spite of his own fear. Dean and Hogarth became rather close, almost like a father and son. Meanwhile Hogarth taught Iron Giant the ways of life and death, encouraging him that everyone had a soul when Giant was saddened by the loss of a forest deer that got shot.
Sadly, the friendship was discovered by Kent who forced Hogarth to tell him where it was, worried the robot was going to destroy them. Hogarth, when Kent's back was turned, warned Dean and managed to keep the secret away from the government. Sadly, after a misunderstanding with a toy gun, the giant tried to attack Hogarth. The giant, due to being a machine designed to destroy war and weaponry, attacked out of instinct rather than desire. Hogarth tried to rescue the giant but Kent found him and attacked him out of fear. In the crossfires, Hogarth got injured which made the Giant snap due to believing the boy was dead. Hogarth eventually came to and talked the Giant out of destroying the entire city. The General of the army saw the giant hold the boy safely and decided to put the attack on hold thanks to Dean's own reasoning. Kent, paranoid and hellbent on destroying the giant, ordered the nuclear missle the army was holding to be launched. The general angrily told him that it was a stupid idea as the bomb was now coming onto the city because the Giant was in it. The Giant gave himself up to save the city, splitting all his pieces. Hogarth got one piece that landed but he was happy to see it still active and go find the Giant's body, having hope he might be alive.
Hogarth though one day awoke in a circus he had no idea about. He realized immediately that he was not home. He was taken in by the Facilier army and the boy is trying only one thing. Survive.
Allies: Dean McCoppin, Iron Giant, Facilier Army
Enemies: Kent Mansley, ATG Army, Critic Army
Plans: MAYBE romance Winnie! If not, just befriend the kids and be a intelligent asset.
