Atka felt out of place but he preferred it here instead of Ask Thatguy's. This army had far more standards and was more tolerant of nobility. He went to go train, using his crossbow and arrow a few times. Atka had been pretty reserved but he couldn't help but like the youngest Stevens family member. Peter was likeable, fun-loving and extremely skilled. Not to mention the boy was rather cute. He was so used to the idea of marrying a woman that he never realized he liked men until he came here. He knew it may have been too soon so he tried to be friends with Peter first. Still, he couldn't deny his romantic feelings were already starting to blossom. As he practiced, he couldn't help but feel like someone was watching. Atka looked around and saw Peter smile, looking kindly but shyly at him. Atka smiled, trying to be confident "You know, it's not very polite to stare"

Peter had grown attached to Atka. Perhaps too attached as both Blade and Sarah had teased him that he was staring too often at him. Causing the teen to blush and try to deny it but they'd both told him to ask him out already. But Peter didn't think Atka liked him like that. But it couldn't hurt to be friends. But as he found him he got lost in staring again until Atka spoke up. He blushed not expecting to get caught and grinned sheepishly. Then came out to join him.

"Sorry. I didn't want to interrupt you. I'm good with a bow and arrow but not other weapons. I heard you're a great warrior. Maybe you could help me use a sword or another weapon. I may not have my crossbow around all the time. And I should be prepared." said Peter.

He had rehearsed this wanting to spend more time with Atka. Even though he was trained in a variety of weapons thanks to Loki taking him under his wing. And now Loki was practically his brother-in-law. Once the two made things official. But Atka didn't know that.
