Jumbiti enjoyed the lake water as she took a break. It was nice being a guard again, she had grown fond of Gi and took her duty seriously. She also enjoyed the fact she got to spend a lot of time with Bagheera. They both were connected thanks to their charges being within the same family. Gi was romancing Olive and therefore got quite close with Pete since he was the younger brother. Jumbiti had kept herself quiet, focusing on duty and her close knit group. But she was hoping this war would not cost her Gi or Bagheera. She felt strong feelings for the panther, very strong but she wasn't sure if he felt that way about her. She felt like he had to know soon but she was shy and didn't know how to talk about it. She heard a stick, and her nerves went up. She asked, nervous and firm "W-Who's out there?"

Bagheera had come out to the woods. He felt so coope up in the jungle. It was ironic. He kept pushing Mowgli into the man village and he didn't realize it until now how hard it was to live in this man village. Although he did have new allies include Shere Khan. He never thought they'd be on the same side. And had had once had a small crush on the tiger. He was powerful but attacking Mowgli and Baloo had taken away any feelings he had. Right now he just hoped their truce would last and they'd remain friends.

As he neared the lake he stepped on some sticks breaking them and heard a familiar voice. Recognizing who it was he stepped out and smiled.

"It's just me Jumbiti. Sorry if I scared you. I was just going for a walk and I got a little thirsty." said Bagheera.

He smiled walking to the lake only to slip and fall in getting completely soaked. He swam back to shore and shook himself off.

"Guess I got a bath too." said Bagheera.
