The Perfect Girl For Me (Darby)

(June 18th. Evening.)

Brock had gotten flowers, and chocolates and had cooked a great meal for them. Well with help from Mirs. Potts and some of the others. He finally had a girlfriend but it had been a few days since he asked her out. And he thought a date here at Roses' home might be a good first date. So they could get to know each other better. He paused glancing at his watch realizing he didn't have much time. She should be here any miute. He grinned setting up the table as the smell of the food began to drift through the house. He'd gotten the house empty today. Everyone was at Critic's house or elsewhere so it was just the two of them. As he heard footsteps he grinned and turned around to face Darby.

"Surprise! I hope you like it." said Brock, nervously.

Darby had a sense something was up when her aunt, friends and especially Mrs. Potts acted strangely. She had left her lucky stuffed animal Spot with IHeart, wanting to genuinely enjoy the experience. She agreed to meet Brock at Roses. Mostly to get away from the consistent work at Critic's home. Roses was not as secretive anymore but it was way more laidback here than at Critic's. It was also the house where the two technically had met, she supposed. Darby entered and saw a table filled with flowers, chocolate and a home-cooked meal. Darby gasped, looking at Brock with flattered eyes "Oh Brock! You did all of this for me?!" Darby rushed, giving the boy a tender kiss, hugging him tightly "You're the sweetest! You're perfect! This is perfect! I love it!"

Brock grinned as she arrived. He blushed as she gave him a a quick kiss and a hug.

"Of course. Only the best for you." replied Brock.

He grinned at her and pulled out a chair for her to sit down. Once she was sitting he sat down in the other chair. He took a few bites and then swallowed.

"So what have you been up to lately?" asked Brock.
