Personality: Fun, friendly, compassionate, protective. He looks up to his big brother and is very protective of him just as much as his brother is of him. They always looked out for each other and gaining friends helped too. Getting stuck in this war on another side separated from his brother scares him as he worries he may have to fight him one day. He learned magic to bond more with his brother as he began making his own spells and potions too. Which helped when they ran into trouble once and a while.
He's bisexual and has had boyfriends and girlfriends in the past. Sometimes even dating more than one person at a time but they never seemed to last. Sometimes the other two would feel more compatible with each other and end up leaving him out in the cold. And rejection stung so for a while he chose to stop dating and just did friends with benefits to not wake up alone and have someone there. Even though he denied he had feelings for some of the other "friends" he had but he was afraid of going further and getting rejected. So he often ended things before they got too serious.
History:
Eddy grew up with his brother. And they were happy until he was nine years old and his brother was twelve. Dorimaus and his men attacked. Their father held them off and he fled with his mother and brother. His mother gave them to someone else to care for them while she went back to help their father. But they were never seen or heard from again. And Eddy knew they were either dead or imprisoned somewhere. Either way he never saw his parents again. And all he had left was Jack. He probably clung to him and Tsueo their new adopted father, too closely for a while after that. Then stopped out of the blue fearing if he annoyed his brother too much he might just leave one day too. Jack and Tsueo set him straight after hearing him venting one day and told him he would never abandon him. And their parents had sacrificed themselves to save them and didn't want to leave them.
Eddy began to learn magic wanting to honor his mother and always felt closer to her. Science had always confused him and while knew Jack was interested in both. He had a knack for magic. And over the years he began to make his own potions and spells with help from his big brother. He'd once been passive and shy as a child but losing his parents and learning magic brought out the wild side of him so to speak. After growing up being taught by Tsueo and learning what they could they tracked down the robed men working for Doriamus hoping for answers. Instead, Tseuo was killed and Eddy began to blame himself. He wasn't as strong enough and maybe if he'd been stronger or faster they wouldn't have lost another parent. When Jack discovered immortality spells, Eddy was hesitant at first. But eventually agreed. He couldn't lose Jack and he knew he couldn't let Jack go through losing him. They'd already lost three parents. Losing the other could send the survivor over the edge and that wouldn't end well for them.
Eddy used the extra time to get stronger with magic. To be the best sorcerer he could be. So no one could beat him. Well except maybe Jack but he was older and had studied longer than he had. But he wouldn't give up. Soon a rebellion had formed and he and his brother joined them and became good friends with all of them. Doriamus had seemed to gain immortality of his own or maybe he'd always had it as he'd still lived centuries just like they had. And many of his minions fought against them and he hated them all. They'd killed his parents and his adopted father. He wished they could duplicate the immortality spell to give to the rebellion but he had destroyed the spell himself after they'd taken the potion. He had been afraid if an enemy had found that and used it they would rise to power and maybe join Doriamus or overthrow him. And he didn't want anyone evil to end up with immortality.
Then one day he woke up in another world at a strange circus. He was put to work as a slave and given as a gift to Bradley Nightstand for his loyalty in the army. And learning he was one of the few sorcerers in his world who had immortality intrigued members of the army. If they could unlock his secrets they could give that power to themselves. And none of the armies could stop them.
