History:
He had a relatively normal live growing up in a village. But once he became a teen he left his home and became a bandit hanging out with only Puar. A cat animal who had gone to transformation school and could shapeshift into anyone or anything she wanted. They soon met Bulma, Goku and Eulong and Puar and Eulong were old rivals from transformation school that Eulong flunked out of. Yamcha tried to steal the Dragonballs and other things from them but his fear of girls often ruined his plans as Bulma often tried to stop him or approach him in various ways cauisng him to flee.
He met Chi-Chi and knocked her out when she attacked him. But he eventually learned she was the Ox King's daughter and woke her up. He apologized to her and she thought he a crush on her. Before he could correct her Goku showed up and he had to retreat. He watched Master Roshi put out the flames and Goku learn the technique rather fast. Over time they ended up working together and ended up captured by the Pilaf Gang to be killed by the burning sun amplified by a glass roof. Pilaf was going to make his wish to rule the world but Eulong escaped and used the wish for comfortable underwear. The wish granted the dragonballs went away and Pilaf and his army were furious trapping them all once more. But Goku saw the full moon and transformed into his Ozaru form freeing everyone from the cage. They had to cut off his tail which reverted him to normal. They kept the transformation a secret and realized goku had killed his grandfather gohan and was unaware of it. And felt it would destroy him if he found out.
Goku went off to train with Master Roshi and Yamcha, Puar, and Eulong went to live in the city with Bulma. After months had gone by Yamcha and the others met up with Goku at the martial arts tournament. He makes it through the rounds but Jackie Chun defeats him. So he's left to sit on the sideline. He thinks Jackie Chun is Master Roshi but with some help from Nam, Roshi/Chun is able to convince everyone that Nam in disguise is really Roshi. And that Chun and Roshi are really distant cousins. Yamcha apologizes and Jackie Chun brushes it off. Jackie Chun also defeats Krillin and soon there is only the final round. In the final round Goku faces off against Jackie Chun. During the battle, Goku sees the moon and transforms into his Ozaru form. Having no choice Jackie Chun destroys the moon and at first, everyone thinks he killed Goku. But then realize he just destroyed the moon.
Goku wakes up and is lent clothes while the fight continues. and Jackie Chun manages to narrowly win. Goku still manages to spend the prize money on dinner as he orders so much food that wipes out Roshi's money. After the tournament, he and Bulma are having relationship problems. And he goes with Eulong, Puar and Goku into the city. He learns Goku has been collecting Dragonballs trying to find the Four Star Ball. A hired thief tries to seduce Yamcha but fails. Bulma catches Yamcha in a compromising position with Hasky and gets mad accidentally injuring Yamcha. Giving Hasky the upper hand as she steals the Dragonballs. She reveals she planted a bomb in the park so they won't try to stop her. Yamcha helps Goku not only difuse the bomb but get the Dragonballs back from Hasky.
A few weeks later Yamcha teams up with Roshi, Launch, Bulma, Eulong, and Puar to help Goku fight the Red Ribbon Army. Only to see Goku has defeated them all single handedly impressing the ent ire group. As the Red Ribbon Army had been a powerful and terrible threat for many years. Yamcha and the group go with Go to Fortuneteller Baba's house to find the final dragonball as Goku only has six. They end up competing in a tournament with Yamcha fighting an invisible man. Yamcha first listens to his steps but Baba sings ruining Yamcha's Plans. Krillin gets Bulma to accidentally flash her brests which causes blood to come out oF Roshi's nose and onto the man namking him partially visible allowing Yamcha to beat him.
Yamcha's next fight is against a mummy and he nearly defeated him but the mummy uses his bandages tso climb back up. And knocked Yamcha from the ring. Goku saves Yamcha with his Power Pole and takes over the fight defeating the rest of the opponents and winning the tournament. Even learning the final opponent is his Grandpa Gohan getting to reunite with him briefly. Yamcha gets an offer by Roshi to become one of his students which he accepts gratefully.
3 years later Yamcha competes in the new tournament but is defeated by Tien and after knocking him out shatters his leg making it hard for him to compete in matches for awhile. He ends up listening to the rest of the tournament at the hospital with Puar there changed into a carpet to help him feel a little better. After Roshi and Goku convince Tien to becom a good guy he apologizes to Yamcha for how he acted and they become good friends and rivals. Tien and Chiatzou end up joining the turtle school.
Due to his injuries Yamcha is out of the fight. And King Piccolo and his goons kill Krillin, Chiatzou, and Roshi. Yamcha is nearly killed by Tambourine but he's called away to go after Goku leaving Yamcha recovering but alive. Yamcah reunites with the others and eventually teams up with Tien but realizes Goku is fighting Piccolo and had defeated him.Yamcha helps Tien get back to Kame house to recover. Goku leaves to train with Kami leaving Yamcha and the others to train even harder for the next tourmanet.
In the next tournament many years later Yamcha and the others reunite at the tournament to meet a now teenage Goku who is almost unrecognizabe at first. Yamcha is nervous as Chi Chi is Goku's opponent and reveals Yamcha's crush on her an makes Bulma jealous and angry. Yamcha's final opponent in the tournament is Hero but he's knocked out of the ring. Hero is revealed to be Kami here to fight Piccolo's son Piccolo Junior. Everyone learns he's Piccolo and runs away leaving only the annoucner and the fighters. Hero/Kami is trapped in the mafuba as Piccolo reflects it back at him. Goku defeats Piccolo but lets him live wanting a rival. He frees Kami though as Piccolo leaves. The rest recover and train. Goku marries Chi Chi and has a son Gohan.
Yamcha learns about the Saiyans later after Radita and Goku are killed. He trains with the otheres with Popo at Kami's lookout to get stronger. Goku is resurrected at the end of a year aS Yamcha and the others fight the Saiyans. Unfortunately Yamcha is the first to die getting killed by one of the Saibamen. He later teams up with Tien, Chiatzou, and Piccolo in other world and tries to get training from King Kai. And get stuck waiting for Goku and the others to resurrect them. After many adventures Goku and the others are able to defeat Freiza and his men and revive them all. Vegeta becomes a frenemy after leaving Freiza's army.
Yamcha and Bulma eventually breal up as their relationship wasn't meant to last. To move on he began dating other girls while Bulma and Vegeta ended up having a fling that got her pregnant. And eventually Vegeta went off to train leaving Bulma alone with a son. A boy from the future arrived warning about androids and gave Goku some heart medicine. Then the Androids began but there ended up being more in this timeline that Trunks's. Dr. Gero and 19 fatally injured Yamcha mistaking him for Goku. The others find him and use senzu beans saving his life. Then 19 nearly killed Goku as the virus struck him. Yamcha took Goku to Chi Chi's house not feeling strong enough to fight.
Vegeta took over killing 19 while Goku was sent away to recover and take the medicine. Gohan took Bulma, baby Trunks and Yajirobe to Capusle Corp where they'd be safe. 20 was revealed to be Dr. Gero who returned to the lab to wake up 17 and 18. But they destroyed the controller and 20 not wanting to be controlled. They woke up 16 despite Future Trunks trying to destroy them and the lab. The 3 Androids knocked out most of the z fighters except for Trunks. Krillin used Sensu beans to wake the rest up. And soon it began a race against the clock. And then another android cell was revealed who began attacking random cities to kill people and gain strength by absorbing life energy from them.
Yamcha helped move Goku to Kame house just in time as the androids showed up to find an empty house. The others managed to show up and distract the androids from fighting. Goku recovered and went into the hyperbolic time chamber with Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks. Only two could go at a time so Vegeta and Trunks went in first. Cell absorbed 17 but 18 and 16 fled with help from Tien and Krillin buying time for Vegeta and Trunks to emerge from the time chamber and go to fight Cell. Gohan and Goku went inside to train themselves. Vegeta let Cell absorb 18 to get stronger but Cell was unstoppable. 16, Krillin, Vegeta, and Trunks all fell before his power and he then told them he was going to have a tournament of his own and left. Everyone went to train and reunited with Goku and Gohan who emerged from the time chamber even stronger.
At the tournament, Yamcha decided to just watch as he didn't feel he was strong enough. But after Goku and Hercule failed to stop Cell, Gohan was chosen to take over. Yamcha ended up fighting a Cell Junior but was no match for him. Gohan destroyed the Cell Juniors in a rage. 16 tried to blow up Cell but failed and most of him were destroyed except for his head. 16 tries to reach Gohan to fight harder before Cell destroys what's left of 16 and Gohan snaps going into Super Saiyan 2 and injuring Cell. They fight and he's able to make him spit out 18 reverting to Imperfect Cell. Imperfect Cell snaps and decides to blow up the planet. Goku takes Imperfect Cell away saving everyone. But he ends up on King Kai's planet. And Cell then explodes killing himself, Goku, King Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory.
Perfect Cell returns for an encore performance. The Z fighters team up to distract him/weaken him as Gohan is able to finish him for good with a Kamehameha with some advice from his father.
Yamcha and the others are able to resurrect Android 17 and the rest of the victims of the androids. But Cell, Goku and the Androids 19 and 20 remain dead. Goku choosing to stay dead feeling many of the villains were targeting him and now the Earth could be at peace. Yamcha and the others said their goodbyes to Goku sad they wouldn't see him again. Several years later a new tournament was beginning. Yamcha thought of entering but he felt he was too rusty so declined. Then people began disappearing and he woke up in another world. He found a strange circus reuniting with some familiar friends.
