Dumbo is a soft-spoken, unquestionably sweet, curious, friendly and easy-going creature. Sadly, due to his friendly nature, this can make him nervous with confrontation. He gets quite shy and is socially awkward, as he has a hard time socializing, but that doesn't make him any less kind or pleasant. He's loyal to the bitter end, which can sometimes lead him to be taken advantage of. He's learning to be far more assertive nowadays, especially due to having a low tolerance with being treated with disrespect. He usually is more likely to stand up for others rather than himself but he is gaining courage day-by-day. He can get hard on himself, due to being insecure and quiet. As such, he can be lead astray due to being a follower than a leader. He can be clumsy due to having getting distracted by his own curiosity but he is extremely hard-working, helpful and determined. He is never afraid to help others and does have a positive, open-minded attitude.
History:
Dumbo was born into a circus, delivered to a eager widower named Mrs. Jumbo. Originally, he was named Jumbo Jr, after his late father. Sadly, due to his abnormally large ears, he earned the nickname Dumbo. Despite this, it was a name Dumbo himself never disliked as his mother made the name into a positive rather than a negative. His mother loved him and Dumbo worshipped the ground she walked on, as she was his best friend, teacher and role model. It was his mother who made him enjoy the circus lifestyle he grew up in, even if he was picked on by animals and humans alike. One day, a teenage boy bullied him, causing his mother to lose her temper and get confined into a solitary cage. Dumbo, feeling absolutely devastated, sulked and blamed himself. It didn't help that his herd of fellow elephants blamed and rejected him. Luckily, he found a friend in Timothy, a stowaway mouse. It was timothy who took him under his wing and encouraged him to get into show-business to gain a better reputation. Sadly, Dumbo caused an accident for a elephant stunt act which forced him into the worst job ever: Becoming a clown. Timothy supported him despite this setback and even had Dumbo reunite with his mother for a visit. Dumbo was saddened as the visit was short-lived but drank water, which he didn't know was alcohol, to calm himself down. He, and Timothy, got drunk which resulted in him discovering his flying powers. He learned to fly thanks to the help of crows. He returned to the circus with his new power, gaining both respect and fame. This new fame helped him release his mother, gain riches and become well-known to the general public.
Time passed and Dumbo was living large, but Dumbo never forgot his origins and made sure to make the circus a better place for all his animal allies. Even his herd of elephants finally accepted him. One day, Dumbo awoke to a new world that wasn't his and was horrified to see both his mother and Timothy missing. He quickly went to the critic's home, taking shelter there due to having no where else to go.
