Why did you pick him/her?: Like Tea to have a friend turned enemy; this time Nezbitt returns but without a body, he's up into Duke's body and given control.

Duke: charming; friendly; loyal; he runs his own game shop and invented dungeon dice monsters; suave; a businessman; protective; argues with Tristan a lot especially over Serenity.
Nezbitt: he believes in the superiority of machines over humans; hates Yugi and his friends for defeating him in their two virtual world arcs, and for cheating him out of the body as he did defeat Tristan; very brutal; acts like a robot while talking; views women as inferior which is why he'd targeted serenity at first until Tristan and Duke stepped in;

Duke:
Duke Devlin grew up in Domino City. But one day he decided to open a game shop to celebrate his new game Dungeon Dice Monsters. After Pegasus lost to Yugi his plan to mass market dungeon dice monsters failed. So he planned to take his revenge on Yugi. After provoking Joey into a duel where he they both dueled with new cards from booster packs and defeating him he forced him to wear a dog suit. Yugi challenge Duke to a duel to undo Joey's punishment. Duke agreed but made it a game of Dungeon Dice Monsters.
Yugi was a quick study to Duke's surprise and annoyance. Duke had the entire board covered and an army of monsters by the end and Yugi only had a few. Every time Yugi tried to turn the duel around Duke was a few steps ahead. But then Yugi began taking out his heart points and eventually summoned Dark Magician and was able to defeat him at his own game. Duke apologized to everyone but then got an email from Pegasus promising to honor his bargain and promote and sell his game to Duke's delight.
Duke later showed up in Battle City helping save Tristan and Serenity from Marik's rare hunters. Tristan fought off the rare hunters while Duke led Serenity to safety where they ran into Mai. When Tristan reunited with them they headed off to reunite with the others and found the duel of a brainwashed Joey facing off against Yugi. They learned Marik brainwashed Joey and Tea and forced this duel to happen. Tea was set free but Joey wasn't. Yugi managed to free Joey from mind control and thankfully both Yugi and Joey were freed from the chains and did not end up at the bottom of the harbor.
Duke followed the group to the tournament where Mai ran into an old rival of hers who wanted her to marry him. He was a celebrity who Mai had beaten years ago. And when she defeated him he tried to kidnap her but Joey rescued her. And she told the celebrity to get lost. Duke and the others headed off to the tournament reuniting with the other duelists Kaiba, Bakura, Marik, and Namu. Mokuba and Kaiba Corp employees were there. The 8th duelist Ishizu arrived later in disguise so no one knew who she was at first.
Duke watched with the others as the duels went on. Each getting someone hospitalized. Bakura, Odion, and Joey were knocked out in their duels. Mai was sent to the Shadow Realm after the reveal Marik was really Odion and Namu was the real Marik. Despite their best efforts, they weren't able to save Mai. Then Ishizu fought Kaibba and lost thanks to Kaiba changing destiny.
Before the finals could begin they were trapped in the virtual world by the Big 55 and Noah. They were separated and Duke was with Tristan. They eventually broke out of the mansion they were on and rescued Serenity from monsters. But then a member of the Big 5 Nesbitt build them. Tristan lost protecting Serenity and lost his body. Yugi, Tea, and Joey showed up to help give them confidence and together with the pair with help of Tristan's last card was able to defeat Nezbitt. But he refused to return Tristan.
Duke helped the others when he could mostly cheering them on. They didn't believe Tristan was who he said he was but soon realized he was trapped in the robotic monkey body. As Kaiba soon defeated Lester but they were separated when the Big 5 came after them and Kaiba went after Noah who had kidnapped Mokuba. After defeating the Big 5 for good, they joined up with Kaiba. Noah tried to use the brothers against each other but Seto was able to break through the mind control and reach Mokuba. Before they could reunite they were turned to stone by Noah.
Yugi took over the duel and defeated Noah. Gozaburo Kaiba showed up revealing he planned to digitize the world and bring them in here where he would rule over them as a king. Noah then led the others to escape but temporarily tried to ditch them in Mokuba's body. But soon feeling remorse he freed Duke and the others. But Yugi stayed behind to free Seto who dueled and defeated Gozaburo. Everyone escaped and Noah sacrificed himself to defeat Gozaburo as the place was going to blow up.
After arriving at the Kaiba Corp Island the finals began. A four-way duel to place who was the winner. And everyone was trying to duel someone else to make the finals their choice. In the end, Joey and Marik lost meaning they were the first duel, and Yugi and Seto were the final duel. Duke watched Joey face off against Marik and despite his best efforts, Joey's strength ran out and he passed out losing the duel and nearly getting sent to the Shadow Realm. But he managed to return by the strength of will and comes to cheer Yugi on in his duel against Kaiba. Yugi wins angering Seto who planned this whole tournament to make himself win. Ishizu convinces Seto to help the Pharoah and he reluctantly gives Yugi a card to help defeat Marik.
Yugi and the Pharoah face off against Marik. But the duel is very different as Marik using it to torture his weaker half and Yugi. As they lose life points parts of good Marik and Yugi's bodies would disappear forever. But Yugi is able to defeat Marik thanks to using the card Kaiba gave him and With Marik taking over his body once more with help from Odion and Ishizu's advice. Marik surrenders to send his dark half to the Shadow Realm. With the darkness and tournament over Yami Marik's victims including Mai and Bakura are returned.
Duke reunited with the gang once more in America dueling some work with Pegasus. He helps unlock the cages when the gang is trapped at Industrial Illusions. He helps them find Pegasus' message and the card he left for them. It looks blank but its real power would be revealed later. After meeting up with Rebecca and her father, he went with Tristan and Joey after Yugi who was tricked into a trap. When Yami lost the duel Yugi took his place shocking everyone. Duke was heartbroken like everyone else to lose a friend.
He chooses to stay with Rebecca and her father while the others go after Dartz and his henchmen. They help break into Kaiba's company to read some information and figure out Dartz is the had of Paradis who had bought up Kaiba Corp and Industrial Illusions from Kaiba and Pegasus. Yugi, Kaiba and Joey eventually are able to defeat Dartz and the Sacred Beast by using the three Legendary Dragons and the three Egyptian gods. Yugi, and the rest of the souls are returned after its defeat. Then one day Tristan, Serenity and Joey vanish surprising everyone. Then while going to meet up with Yugi he vanishes outside the card shop and wakes up in another world. Learning of the war he is welcomed only to be enslaved as Nezbitt is placed inside of him as he was living in a computer. And he preferred to use Duke's body to get revenge on Duke and his enemies including Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Serenity.
Nezbitt:
He was a member of the Big 5 helping make weapons for Gozaburo Kaiba. When Seto and Mokbua took over he backed them thinking it was the right move. But they were then given jobs to help promote Seto's new games. And they all felt like they deserved more power. They teamed up with Pegasus to defeat the Kaiba Brothers. But their plans were foiled when Seto escaped and Yugi eventually defeated Pegasus freeing Seto and Mokbua from Pegasus.
The Big 5 including Nezbitt trapped Seto, Mai, Yugi, Mokuba, and Joey into a virtual reality game. The five attacked the Big 5 with their dragons. But Mokuba, Joey and Mai are defeated one by one and vanish into digital data. Angering Yugi and Seto they combine The Black Luster Soldier with the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to becoming Dragon Master Knight. He defeats their dragon and sends Yugi and Seto back to the village below. The princess turns into a Mystical elf and restores Mokuba, Mai and Joey as the group heads home. And Nezbitt and the Big 5 were unplugged before they could return to the real world trapping them in the virtual world.
They were rescued by Noah who brought them into his virtual world. Where they captured Yugi, Tea, Joey, Tristan, Duke, Serenity, Mokuba, and Seto to force them into a virtual tournament and the winners would have a body to escape to the real world in. Nezbitt was shocked to wake up as a virtual program trapped in Ask That Guy's army. But Dr. Smith and the others used a mix of magic and science to force Nezbitt into Duke Devlin's body trapping Duke in his own body and giving Nezbitt control.
