Name: Tulio
Age: 25
Where is this character from? The Road To El Dorado
Why did you pick him/her?: a character from one of my favorite films. and to raise stakes. maybe have miguel vs. tulio in a fight.
Picture:
Personality: suave; persuasive; charming; cynical; nervous; loyal.
History:
Tulio and Miguel were best friends and lived in Spain. They were conmen getting money where they could. Playing games with loaded dice or pretending to fight if things got too bad and escaping in the chaos. After one failed con they took off and hid in some barrels. But they were trapped in the barrels and then taken aboard a ship looking for El Dorado. While sailing they eventually broke out and were discovered. They eventually escaped using the captain's horse Altivo. They snuck into a boat trying to row away but Altivo fell in the boat and nearly capsized it. Not wanting to get caught they took the horse with them but lost most of the food they'd stolen.
They eventually make it to shore and find some fruit from a tree. They find Chel who was running away from El Dorado and she reluctantly leads them back to escape the Spaniards from the ship from finding them. Tulio and Miguel pose as gods with Chel's help not wanting to end up dead or imprisoned. As they spend more time there they gain treasure as their sacrifices and the people are convinced to build a boat. The leader is pleased he's helped them while Tzel Khan is the village priest who believes they were supposed to be vengeful gods. They stop from killing someone making him question if they are really gods.
Miguel falls in love with the country and the people there deciding to stay with Altivo. Tulio decides to keep going with Chel. But Tzel Khan attacks planning to kill them both deciding they aren't gods as gods don't bleed. But his attempts fail and he is knocked into a whirlpool. Everyone presumes he's dead but he survies and runs into the Spaniards who were chasing Miguel and Tulio. And he mistakes them for the real gods he was waiting for. He tries to lead them to El Dorado but the others block the passage with the ship losing all the treasures. Miguel, Tulio, Chel and Altivo escape the wreck but the passage is blocked for good. And the peope of El Dorado are safe. Tzel Khan is taken prisoner by the Spaniards as the group decides to go off on more adventures as Chel is eager to see more of the world outside of El Dorado.
And as time goes on he tries to kill them by brin
When Miguel disappears Tulio is nervous. Then he wakes up one day at a strange circus as Gabriel finds him. And he uses his powers to make Tulio a slave and obey Tzel Khan. Gabriel then presents him to his new master as he's forced to serve him and be aware of what he's doing. He hopes to one day find Miguel and hopes Chel and Altivo are alright back home on their own.
