Logan was glad that this finally settled. The picnic date with Dr. Smith and Cody made him realize that they also wanted to take Cassidy in. Cassidy was aloof but Logan could tell she needed someone to look out for her. Cody befriended the girl thanks to a trip and had been continuing his friendship with her for a while. So Logan persued legal adoption papers and all it needed was Cassidy's consent. The young girl with her pokemon could only take care of herself so much. Dr. Smith was out to go get her from training to speak with them. Logan meanwhile was waiting with the excited young boy.
Logan chuckled a little as Cody asked if she was going to come "She will be here soon, Cody. Be patient. This takes time" He then smiled as Smith brought in Cassidy. Logan replied "Hello Cassidy. I know we've only exchanged certain talks here and there, but you know me as Logan. You know our adopted son Cody more than I" He then smiled a little as Cody replied they wanted to talk. He agreed with a singular nod

Cody was excited. He always wanted a big sibling. Sister or brother it didn't matter to him, he just wanted a sibling ever since he was a toddler. Cassidy was someone he looked up to and really enjoyed. Cody bounced in his chair constantly as Dr. Smith went to get her to have their meeting. Cody turned to Logan replying "Is she here yet pop? She's gonna come right? She's gonna be here right?" He then smiled as he saw Cassidy. He replied happily "Hiya Cassidy! We wanted to talk to you! It's something really special!"
