Porter is eccentric, charming, sweet, compassionate, loyal and open-minded. He's fun-loving, having a passion for life and science. He enjoys animal life, believing in humanity, nobility and kindness. He can be a bit goofy, oblivious and absentminded mostly due to his eagerness and energy. He's extremely dedicated to family, wanting nothing but the best for them. He's also optimistic, thoughtful and has a low to zero tolerance on cruelty and pointless violence.
History:
Archimedes was born and raised entirely in london, dedicating his life to humanitarian sciences. He became a professor quite early in his life, eventually marrying and having his only daughter Jane. He was extremely happy as he genuinely wanted a daughter. He eventually became a single parent when jane was quite young, due to his wife being quite ill. He encouraged his daughter to be independent, as he was part of a small society of men who believed in equal rights. He entrusted her advice and eventually joined a expedition to Africa with Jane as his assistant. The goal was to study gorillas and connect their behaviors with human behavior. They met Tarzan, a wild man raised by apes, to help them with their study but it became fruitless as his tribe was quite private. They did meet the apes eventually but nearly got hurt due to Kerchak viewing them as a threat. Porter and Jane eventually packed their bags to return to London with Tarzan beside them, only to be betrayed by Clayton. With the help of Tarzan and his friends Terk and Tantor, they eventually stopped Clayton from HIS plan to kill and hunt gorillas.
Porter and Jane after defeating Clayton from his scheme were about to return home, but Porter notice Jane develop feelings for Tarzan. Wanting her happiness, he encouraged her to stay and even decided to stay himself as he loved the jungle more than the city life of London. He stayed with Jane and approved of her marriage, genuinely viewing Tarzan as like the son he never had. One day Tarzan, Terk, Kala and Jane all disappeared much to his concern. He went to search for them only to appear in chicago. He met up with his daughter and son-in-law, eventually agreeing to join the Defiants army for their sake.
