Personality:
Bulma is a extroverted, intelligent, generous, thoughtful and free-spirited woman. She is also stubborn, temperamental, vain, spoiled and demanding. Despite her more selfish tendencies, she does do what's right and always goes out for others, particularly those she loves. She's a pretty doting person all things considered, usually being a sister or mother figure to others. She also can be quite confident in herself and usually goes out of her way to express her independance through her intelligence or wit. She is also a bit of a romantic, believing in expressing love, but she is not mushy or corny about it. She is quick-witted, brave, noble and is honest. She also has a tendency to be very socially aware, to the point of being quite the socialite as well.
History:
Bulma was born the younger daughter of Panchy and Dr. Briefs. Due to her parents being unquestionably rich, Bulma was well taken care of. Her father was a brillant scientist and would make revolutionary inventions. Bulma inherited her father's intelligence and was quite skilled by the time she was ten. She got into many successful schools, graduating and going to college by the mere age of 16-17. One day Bulma found a dragon ball and decided to find the rest of them, since there was a well-known legend about them granting any wish someone desired. She originally had the selfish intention of wishing for a perfect boyfriend. She met a then twelve-year old Goku who she manipulated to being her partner with, lying about certain things to get him to come with her. Together they developed a strong sibling-like bond, making many allies along the way and eventually getting the dragon balls only to have Pilaf stole them. They defeated Pilaf and moved on from their quest, Goku going to Master Roshi's to train and Bulma pursued a relationship with Yamcha. She, along with Goku, handled many enemies including King Piccolo and his heir Piccolo. Which all was handled well thanks to Goku's strength.
As the years past, Yamcha and Bulma became more and more distant. When Yamcha was killed by a saibaman though Bulma did express regret for not spending time with him. So she, along with Krillan, Gohan and then later Goku after he healed went to Namek to retrieve the dragon balls to revive all their allies from the murder of the saiyans. While Gohan and Krillan handled a majority of the threats, including Vegeta and Frieza, she used her skills to try to repair the ship. Only to be forced to use Dr. Briefs ship for goku. She awaited for Gohan and offered to take Piccolo away from their fight with Frieza only for the revived Dende to wish her along with everyone from namek outside of Goku and Frieza to Earth. She welcomed the namekian race with open arms, and even forgave Vegeta for his misdeeds by allowing him to stay as well. She tried to persue Yamcha once more and it worked for only a small while, due to her and yamcha just not seeing eye to eye anymore. A year past since the namek incident and Vegeta returned to Earth. Bulma welcomed him in her home as a ally and even allowed him to stay after a then unknown future Trunks warned them about the androids. She tried to stop it before hand but was convinced otherwise by the battle-hungry saiyans along with krillan who said he still didn't trust vegeta's nobility.
Despite that, Bulma eventually broke up with Yamcha and pursued a fling with Vegeta. She developed a relatively good alliance with him and eventually the two had a one night stand resulting in the birth of their son, Trunks. Some time passed and despite the two not always seeing eye to eye, Bulma still had some feelings for Vegeta even though it wasn't proven to be mutual at the time. While the team handled the androids and a new threat called Cell, Bulma handled a way to give the androids a weakness bomb and even repaired Android 16 to avoid the nuclear bomb in his chest. She was forced on the sidelines as she was too weak to handle cell. Not long after Gohan defeated Cell though, Vegeta returned and the two genuinely reconciled, even growing immensely strong feelings for each other over the past few months. Eventually the two lived together, even getting married by the time Trunks was two. Some more time passed and things were extremely peaceful, Bulma even being glad to settle down and be a mother.
One day though Gohan and Piccolo disappeared as Krillan explained to her. Determined, Bulma went to find them alongside the present teenage Gohan. She and him disappeared together and the two were captured by Facilier. Feeling threatened Bulma angrily demanded release but then was put under a slave collar alongside the teenage Gohan due to not being trusted. She alongside the teenage gohan were forced to be workers for Facilier for the time being, much to her dismay. But she is willing to put up with it as Gohan was her main priority along with getting home back to her husband and son.
