Where is this character from? Fantastic Four au timeline
Why did you pick him/her?: one of my favorite superheroes and fun to play him again this time on the heroes side.

Personality: Cocky, prankster, charming, flirty, sarcastic. He's protective of those who call friends and family only having his sister for a while. He grew up on stories of Steve admiring him and being compared to him which was fun and annoying at times. But he always wanted to meet him and now he's hoping he can. Being bisexual he's attracted to both men and women so he's open to any relationship.
History:
His great uncle Steve Rogers/Captain America vanished during world war 1 and was presumed dead. Steve's sister married Alan Storm and they were the grandparents of Susan and Johnny. Reed grew up with his parents and Susan. Susan and Reed dated on and off and eventually broke up. Johnny's girlfriend Cara Jones and he got really close and dated for two years in high school. He even bought a ring intending to propose. But the night he was going to pro pose she broke up with him saying she'd fallen in love with someone else. Devastated he fell into a depression for a while and Sue was the only one able to help pull him out of it. But since then he didn't let anyone get too close. In college, he experimented with guys dating them thinking it'd be easier but he didn't find anyone he liked past the one-night stand and a couple of dates. He eventually went back to girls but kept them at a distance afraid of getting hurt again adopting his "cocky, playboy, and prankster" type persona. He did enjoy playing pranks on people and it helped him have fun once and awhile.
When Susan fell in love with Victor Von Doom Johnny supported her wanting his sister to be happy. When Victor funded Reed's project into space he became the pilot joining victor, Susan, ben, and Reed into space. Cosmic rays hit the base and despite their best efforts, all five were affected. Johnny gains the power to light up his body in flames but also destroying any clothes he had on at the time. While the others gained powers as well and the main four decided to form a superhero team called the Fantastic 4.
Victor was in denial and didn't realize he was infected at first but eventually began to use his powers for evil. Johnny meanwhile was using his powers to get publicity after Sue gave them uniforms that his powers could work on without burning up. He called them the Fantastic 4. He constantly made pranks on Ben and Reed made tests to test the limits of his powers. When Dr. Doom was revealed to be evil he tricked Ben into stripping his powers and sent a missile after Johnny while planning to kill Reed alone. The team eventually reunited with Ben regaining his powers back by exposing himself to the cosmic rays again. Together they defeated Doom and sealed him away.
They thought it was over but a few months later the Silver Surfer appeared and they learned he was drawing Galactus there to destroy the Earth. Silver Surfer's cosmic energy freed Dr. Doom from the prison of stone that the Fantastic 4 had put him in earlier. He joined up with the US military and the Fantastic 4 to find a way to capture the silver surfer. They succeeded but Dr. Doom wanted the cosmic energy for himself and killed the colonel and stole the silver surfer's board. The Silver Surfer teamed up with the Fantastic 4 to strip dr. doom from the board. Sue is hurt in the fight and Johnny absorbs the powers from Sue, Richard, and Ben to become strong enough to take out Doom and separate him from the board.
And this is where changes in the timeline began. When Ben tried to knock Doom into the water he was too fast and it hit Johnny knocking him into the water and then Doom quickly grabbed an anchor and tossed it onto Johnny's legs pulling him into the water. While Johnny struggled to free himself, Doom killed Ben and Reed who were both powerless. And took Sue intending to get her help and marry her. Johnny returned charging at Doom to find Sue dead in his arms and had done from the wounds. And seeing Reed and Ben were nothing but ashes now he lashed out at Doom using the full force of his powers killing Doom. Which also killed the Silver Surfer. With his powers now gone for good, SilveR Surfer reverted to Norrin Radd and died unable to handle the shock of losing his powers. Johnny then launched an attack at Galactus wiping him out so the Earth was safe.
But the damage was done. People began to fear him with him having killed both Doom and Galactus and leading to the deaths of his team and the Surfer. He tried to defend himself but he was arrested and thrown in jail. He didn't try to fight back knowing he could easily escape.
When his great uncle's friend Bucky Barnes was thawed out and helped fight off the Chitauri he was excited to see him. To learn more about Steve who was gone. And Bucky broke him out of prison and got him pardoned. One of his conditions on joining the Avengers for good. Johnny joined the avengers and started calling him Uncle Bucky. He helped them fight off the Dark Avengers.In time with training, he soon controlled all the former ff4's powers. And even gained the ability to shift between his rocky thing form and his human form.
Then Avengers and Dark Avengers began disappearing. And then one day Johnny ended up in another world and joind the Defiant army. Grinning to see Loki, Peter and Blade there. And learning Bucky was in the hero army.
