Tai Lung is determined, ambitious, quick-witted, dedicated and unquestionably well-spoken. He is also, however, immensely egotistical, cruel, callous, stubborn and brash. He's pretty calm under pressure, even being quite patient, but he has a tendency to be immensely violent when angry. He has a tendency to expect greatness from everything, especially himself and has a tendency to be a bit self-absorbed. He's intelligent, crafty and is quite the expert fighter. He can and usually does admit when there is a worthy opponent but due to pragmatic discipline, he rarely assumes defeat. He can be admittedly charismatic and sophisticated, being polite and good-mannered.
History:
Tai Lung was adopted by Shifu due to being abandoned as a cub. He was a relatively happy-go-lucky and skilled young cub, he had a deep passion for martial arts. He was trained by Shifu, who told him he was destined for greatness as the dragon warrior. Tai Lung took this to heart and was determined to be the dragon warrior. He got better and stronger, training to the very bone to be the dragon warrior. When time came to be judged by Oogway, a master sensei that taught shifu, Tai lung expected to be the dragon warrior as was told to him. However Oogway told Shifu that he was arrogant, carrying a deep root of evil within his heart. Oogway made it clear that Tai Lung was not the dragon warrior. Tai Lung looked to Shifu in guidance but felt betrayed when Shifu did absolutely nothing to defend him. In confusion and anger, Tai Lung attacked innocent villages, then was defeated by Oogway as Shifu couldn't defeat him. He was imprisoned for his crimes, locked away for years. He eventually escaped, set and determined to find the dragon scroll which would make him the warrior he set himself out to be. He fought the furious five, defeated them with ease and attacked the valley. He confronted Shifu, demanding the scroll. He then met Po, fighting him and eventually was defeated by Po thanks to him using the Wushi Finger Hold.
He awoke in a new world, aware he was killed and brought back. He joined Facilier's forces in exchange for the chance of revenge. He is determined to earn his honor and once again be the greatest warrior he believes himself to be.
