Pepper is relatively soft-spoken and reserved, but she has a witty and confident side. She's got a pretty dry sense of humor and tends to use humor to diffuse her anxiety. Speaking of which, she can be very easily stressed, especially when plans or things don't go the right way. She tries to be understanding and patient, but it's difficult for her as she has a hard time dealing with stress. That all said, she's incredibly intelligent, using logic to fix issues she has. As such she can also be a bit blunt and passive aggressive, especially when she feels hurt or angry. She's caring though, being quite compassionate, friendly and empathetic. She is thoughtful and considerate all things considered and is incredibly hard-working.
History:
Pepper was born as Virginia Potts and was raised in a pretty outgoing household. She felt like a outcast due to being more introverted than her family, and had a tendency to feel a bit overwhelmed as she was pressured by her older sister to do more. She focused on her studies and eventually got all honors in college, graduating to eventually get into business like her father. She got a bit unlucky finding jobs until eventually she became Tony Stark's secretary. Through time, she eventually became one of his closest friends, going out of her way to help him. She was beyond devastated when he got captured and was absolutely relieved to see him alive. She assisted him in every way she could with his new heart issue, even telling him outright to be prepared with spare heart pieces in case. She nearly quit as Tony became more obsessed with finding out why his company sold to terrorist companies, but after learning he felt it was his destiny to fix his mistakes she agreed to help.
She assisted in defeating Obediah and eventually started a romance with Tony. As time went by she became even closer with him. However, after the new york incident against loki, she noticed Tony had become more distant and much more different. She assumed it was her imagination but she felt her relationship slowly sink. Then Tony disappeared once more, and she was concerned only to learn she disappeared the same way he did. As did bruce and many others. Tony then eventually confessed to having feelings for bruce and respectfully dump her. Pepper was devastated, feeling betrayed after everything they went through. She didn't hate Tony, she never actually could hate him, but she felt like she was treated unfairly and was replaced by Bruce. Resentful, angry and hurt, she left the heroes and let her emotions, for the first time in her life, get the best of her. She saw her friend Jane Foster in the ask thatguy force and joined with her to escape Tony and to clear her mind.
