It's Terror Time Again

(ooc: August 6th. Evening. Scooby Doo Characters. Fred, Velma and DAphne will leave with Shaggy's group to join Facilier's army by the end of this thread. Was thinking perhaps chase scenes and people getting scattered on the island.)

Ben smirked. They'd chosen an island setting for its isolation and to honor Simone, Lena and Jacques as they were some of the first villains to meet the gang that was real monsters.

"It is time to begin the ritual. Gather around. The spell may drain a bit from each of us to bring so many here." said Ben.

Jacques, Bill, and Phil nodded standing on the right side of Ben as he opened his spellbook. Once everyone was in position he began to cast a spell.

Magic Forces
Black and White
Reaching out Through
Space and Light
Be They Far Or
Be They Near
Bring Our Enemies Here."

In a flash of thunder and lightning, several people and animals appeared. Among them were Daphne Blake, Scooby Dum, Scrappy Doo, Shaggy Rogers, Amber, Winnie, Phantasma.

"Jeepers! What just happened?" asked Daphne.

"Zoinks! How did we get here?" asked Shaggy.

"I don't know Shaggy but it looks like fun." said Phantasma.

"Yeah. Just what we needed. A vacation." said Winnie.

Scooby Dum pulled out a magnifying glass and stopped when he found a shoe and looked up seeing Ben Ravencrof t and several other villains and then faints.

"It's a trap!" said Amber.

Ben chuckled.

"Quite right. And now we're going to finish you off. Starting with Shaggy. Facilier's familiar." said Ben.

Phil chuckled.

"Welcome to your doom players." said Phil.

Phil sheepishly grins at Jacques rebuke.

Bill smirked.

"We've come to the final stretch." said Bill.

Bill chuckled.

"Sorry can't help that. I just love baseball." said Bill.

Jacques sighs.

"Enough with the baseball puns. You're almost as bad as your son here." said Jacques.

He turned back at the group.

"You know I don't need to drain life force anymore to stay alive but I think I might make an exception just this once. " said Jacques.

(OCC: I'm bringing in revolta here, she'll be properly introduced in a earlier thread somehow but I figured she should be here too)

Fred was a bit shocked, and horrified, that one minute he was residing in his home base and the next trapped in a small island. Everyone he knew, which of course included daphne and velma, was teleported by Ben's magic. Alongside him was a spider-like creature woman he barely knew but simone, Jacques, lena and bill alongside Phil he definitely knew. He listened as amber declared it to be a trap. Which immediately got Fred on defense mode. He went right in front of Daphne and replied "Get behind me daphne, I'll settle the score with these clowns!"

He then turned to see some odd children but he recalled shaggy explaining he was their gym coach some time ago. But his focus on them was distracted as lena got closer to both him and daphne. Fred bravely shoved her back replying "I'm warning you lena. Don't push it. I won't let you touch daphne"

Velma was definitely surprised by the magic ben wielded. He either got better at handling his book or he had a excellent teacher. She widened her eyes at the sight of enemies and friends she knew and didn't know. Velma then saw Shaggy and a part of her was delighted to see him again. But her delight vanished when ben threatened him. Angrily, she stood right in front of shaggy and snapped at him "Don't even try it ben. I won't let you touch him. You'll have to go through me first"

Velma then noticed another girl stand in front of him, as did Scooby. She smiled at them before turning angrily to ben once again.

Scooby was beyond frightened, but his own worries were replaced with worrying about amber, his nephew and the children he was a guardian of. The ghoul girls were Shaggy's legally but he felt his own kinship for the girls. Speaking of kinships, shaggy was there observing the area when ben and a few others began to close in on them. Hearing Velma stand up alongside Elsa Frankenteen, scooby jumped into action too. He snarled at ben. His courage has improved somewhat. He knew these enemies, so maybe the familiarity of what they were capable of was what made it a little less scary? He then saw Simone and Lena morph into their first phase of werecat. It startled him but he replied "Re ron't ret rou rake rhaggy. Reave ry rends ralone!"

He then noticed his cousin as lena was drawing closer to him. In a rush, scooby grabbed the white great dane. He then put him behind both himself and elsa.

Thorn was shocked beyond words. But she did gasp at the sight of seeing Ben. She didn't know anyone except him that could be a threat to her. Thorn angrily snarled "You got some nerve showing your face again ravencroft" She sneered "So you got new powers big deal. You don't scare me anymore. I can take you down again if I need to" Thorn then noticed the ghoul girls. She had started getting to know them over the next couple of months due to shaggy knowing them. She protectively got in front of phantasma, tanis, sibella and Winnie replying "Girls. Stay close to me. These people are not friendly. They're super dangerous"

Sibella's bat senses with tingling with danger. She made a disturbed noise as phantasma and Winnie, at least at first, saw nothing wrong. Sibella replied patiently to her friends "Um, ghouls, I don't think this is a good thing" She then screamed in horror as she noticed revolta among them. Sibella hugged Tanis tightly, keeping her away. Sibella replied in horror "Revolta!" She replied angrily "You stay away from us!" She then panicked as she saw revolta come to them. Sibella in a panic pushed revolta away.

Tanis smiled happily at the idea of a vacation "Ooooh I hope this island has tons of spiders. That would be so cute!" She then gasped as she saw revolta and hugged sibella back. She then got more and more frightened, and not in the fun way, as revolta got closer. She was relieved as revolta was pushed back but then panicked as revolta got to grab sibella's arm. Tanis bravely tried to kick revolta's leg "Let go of sibella you mean old witch!"

Elsa smirked amusedly at the idea of a vacation only to notice all the enemies on display. She snarled at the sight of revolta but gasped as Ben got near her coach. Elsa was always fond of shaggy, but being his adopted niece felt like a badge of honor she needed to appreciate. So she protectively got alongside velma and scooby as ben came closer. Elsa snarled protectively "You want my uncle you gotta go through me first" She then sensed electric energy, she had a tendency to do that due to relying on it. She turned to see phil and looked curiously at him, making sure he didn't try anything either.

Simone smirked amusedly as Ben showed their enemies. She had agreed to this attack, as it was partly lena's idea as was ben's. She did as requested from ben to proceed with the spell, staying on the left alongside revolta and lena. She then turned to see her enemies and was delighted. She immediately morphed into a werecat, angry at the sight of both dogs and werewolves. Simone snarled at amber and Winnie, alongside observing shaggy and scooby. Simone replied standing alongside Jacques "There is always room to get more energy and life force. I've been looking forward to getting rid of these pests for some time now" She snarled some more, getting closer, allowing her animal like instinct to kick in a little.

Lena obeyed ben's instructions to the letter, wanting this to be done right. She then saw her enemies and laughed in delight "Land sakes, look at the display. I am just dying to take you all down" She then morphed into her first phase of werecat. She then snarled at scooby dum who appeared passed out. She was about to strike at him first when scooby quickly took dum and hid him. Lena then replied "Is any one of you actually gonna try to put up a fun fight for us? Or will you be smart and just surrender now?"

Revolta hadn't known these people too well but when she heard they were all enemies of Shaggy, she delightfully agreed to the plan. She obeyed as much as she can, not comfortable too much with working as a team but doing it anyway. She then saw shaggy and the ghoul girls. Her revenge got the best of her and she replied "At last! You brats are mine! I shall make you pay for our last encounter!" She got closer to tanis only to be shoved by sibella. She snarled angrily "You accursed vampire brat! I'll make you pay for that" She then grabbed sibella and tried to pull her close to take her down. She ignored tanis, grabbing sibella more.

(ooc: Couldn't resist splitting up the group in four ways. You can put who you want in them and who you want to folow them.)

Shaggy's Group:

Shaggy paused realizing with a frown and glanced at Fred.

"Normally this is your line but we got no choice. Let's split up gang." said Shaggy.

He threw a potion out of his pocket causing smoke and dust as the group began to scatter. He turned grabbing Winnie in his arms the closest he could get too and running. When Winnie protested he sighed.

"I'm sorry but we've got no choice. We got to get help." said Shaggy.

When Shaggy suggested they split up he then grabbed her and took off.

"Wait. We can't leave the others." said Winnie.

She frowned realizing Shaggy was trying to protect them. And despite her wanting to fight there were too many of them. They could have handed Revolta just fine but the others could have been a problem.

Daphne's Group:

Daphne was nervous hiding behind Fred until shaggy spoke.

"I hate to say but he's right Fred. We're all sitting ducks here. If just one of us can get out of here we can get our allies from one of the armies. I'd rather deal with Facilier's army than Ask That Guy's. Facilier might go easy on us because we're Shaggy's friends. But Ask That Guy won't. I've seen what they did to Grimhilde, Morpheus, Ace, Chester and others they held captive." said Daphne.

She shuddered at the thought. When Shaggy made his move she took off in another direction grabbing Phantasma and Scrappy as she left. At their protests she shook her head.

"They're real monsters Scrappy. These aren't the creeps in masks we usually fight. They wont' stop until we're all dead or in prison." said Daphne.

Phantsma paused as Daphne grabbed her and Scrappy and began running. She wanted to stop and fight but she knew Daphne was scared. And seeing Revolta after all this time was a little scary herself. And those monsters gave monsters a bad name. She chuckled though as they went through the forest wanting to enjoy their time in this spooky forest.

Scrappy meanwhile struggled in Daphne's arms.

"Aww come on Daphne. I'll splat those monsters." said Scrappy.

Hearing Daphne's fear he stopped struggling as he felt bad for her.

"Don't worry Daphne. We'll find a way to stop them." said Scrappy.

Amber's Group:

Amber transformed into her alien form and growled startling the others for a moment. She knocked Revolta over freeing the girls from herrh and growled.

"I'll hold them off for as long as I can." said Amber.

She tried to protest before she was dragged off by the cousins.

Ben chuckled.

"So they want a game of chase? Even better. I thought this was going to end too easily. Now we can have a lot more fun." said Ben.

He took off down one of the paths hoping to catch up with some of them.

Jacques was in shock seeing first one dog transform into a monster and them all running off in four directions. At Ben's words, he grinned. He took another path hoping to get his prey. He didn't care who it was at this point.

Bill and Phil said their goodbyes each heading to the last two remaining paths.

"Be careful out there son. I lost you once before I realized what I was losing. I don't want to lose you again." said Bill.

Phil chuckled.

"Relax pops. I don't have that weakness of the magnets in this new body. And they don't actually have any weapons or anything. I bet that was probably the only potion the fool was carrying." said Phil.

Bill smiled heading off down the third path while Phil ran down the final path.
