Another Brilliant Plan Ruined (Turrell)

Zurg groaned as he patched up his wounds. It had taken him a while but he'd gotten his revenge on Grimhilde. He'd gotten a few hits in.

That queen had hurt Turrel. Sure it was months ago but he had waited to plan his revenge. He'd made her clothes itchy and had turned them pink. No one deserved to wear purple but him. He hadn't expected that she would throw some potions at him. That had damaged his armor and left him in pain. He'd "borrowed" supplies from the house and snuck off to clean up. He didn't want to be mocked for his defeat.

"Well it was worth it to pay her back for what she did to Turrel." said Zurg.

He had developed a crush on the man but he knew many of them saw him as a joke or a nuisance. Surely Turrel probably felt the same.

"I guess he'll never know how I feel. But it was still worth it." said Zurg.

Turrell had feelings for the emperor. There was no question. But he never had the right words. He could conquer galaxies. He could destroy worlds. But he couldn't talk to his crush. How ironic was that? He hadn't exactly avoided Zurg though. Gaining something of a good friendship. So when he saw Zurg wander off, sneaking about, Turrell's curiosity was a bit heightened. But he didn't pester him when Zurg left.

But now as he was heading to the backyard to clear his head on how to talk to zurg when he returned, there he was. In shambles. Looking like he was from a serious fight. He unfortunately did not hear any of Zurg's personal thoughts, shocked more to see him so disheveled. Turrell's emotions got a little better of him and he responded shocked "Emperor Zurg!" He always made note to respect Zurg's title. Regardless of what the others thought of him, Turrell saw zurg as a worthy conqueror and a immensely important ally. Turrell rushed over, concerned and looking over him "What happened to you? Who's responsible for this?"

He then stomped his foot, grabbing his gun, ready to attack "I'll kill them! No, I'll torture them then I'll kill them! They'll suffer for this disrespect!" He then was shocked to see Zurg's hand on his arm. He turned around and awaited for what zurg was going to say.

Zurg paused looking up seeeing Turrell join him in the woods.

"It' s my fault. I got too angry and attacked Queen Grimhilde. She hurt you months ago and it took me awhile to plan my revenge just right. Unfortunately she was more clever than I expected and attacked me with some potions in retaliation but I did get her." said Zurg.

He paused at his words and shook his head.

"No. Then she might hurt you again. I don't want to see you get hurt again. I won't let that witch hurt someone I love again." said Zurg.

He was so caught up trying to calm Turrell he didn't reali ze he'd admitted his feelings out loud twice now.

Turrell listened as Zurg proceeded to explain his predicament. He was relieved that zurg didn't leave empty-handed but he still was anything but pleased when zurg explained he got hurt. Turrell widened his eyes in realization that zurg attacked grimhilde, and it was because of him. Turrell replied in shock "You... you attacked her for me?" He replied softly "You didn't have to do that for me. Your life is way too important to me for that" He wanted to say so much more. But he didn't want to push the boundaries of friendship.

He wanted to restrain himself for the moment. Only for Zurg to alter that plan entirely by basically telling Turrell he loved him. The wind was knocked out of him a bit, shocked and joyful that someone he had a crush on was mutually into him. He asked in shock "You love me too?" He then blushed as he realized the cat was out of the bag for him also. Turrell got much closer to zurg, more focused on what zurg said than the fact he was hurt. Turrell replied softly "Zurg. I won't let you get hurt either" He held zurg's hands, squeezing them before replying "I would kill anyone and everyone if it meant keeping you safe. You're worth more to me than you realize. Emp--Zurg, I love you too" He then replied bitterly "That witch hurt us both. She will pay dearly for it" He then smiled softly at zurg "Let me heal you at least"

Zurg smiled at him.

"I'd do anything for you. I'm just not used to fighting my own battles. Back home I had an army of minions, robots, and henchmen. Here being an emperor is just a fancy title. I have to fight." said Zurg.

He blushed as h realized he'd admitted his feelings.

"Yes. I wait... Too?" said Zurg.

He nodded.

"Then we protect each other." said Zurg.

When Turrel grabbed his hands he smiled again.

"I feel the same way. I guess in the end I lost my temper and attacked her by myself." said Zurg.

He smiled.

"I'm sure she will." said Zurg.
